I've been seeing Dr. Zajac for over three years now and I have nothing but good things to say…read more It all starts with your consult, where you mark on a sheet where you're in pain and then assign those areas numbers as to the severity. Dr. Z understands that you're in pain (if you are) and respects those boundaries - he NEVER pushes it. Unlike most other establishments, he takes the time to get to know you, and he REMEMBERS you. His knowledge and expertise in the field is evident. I perform heavy labor for work and on more than 3 occasions could barely walk. He fixed me up!!! Picture this... you're in pain and want a doctor who cares. You find this place called Advantage Chiropractic and when you show up, there's an all too familiar scent of healing oils, a home-type environment, and nothing but smiles and professionalism. There's even a foot and back massager in the waiting room! Dr. Z even has a room you can use to do exercises and he takes the time to demonstrate them to you. His knowledge of apothecary oils is extensive and he is extremely knowledgeable on natural healing remedies. My experiences have been nothing but great. In fact, the only bad thing that's ever happened to me there was having to leave. Dr. Zajac is the best pick for you.

Disappointing but you live with it. On a side note Dr. Christina Natelborg has been a blessing throughout.

The medical assistant required us as family to hold up the very elderly (95+} patient from a wheelchair 2 weeks after surgery while she yanked out 24 staples from the leg and hip area. There was some inflammation so she left in the middle of the extraction to find a nurse, while we stood holding up the patient. About 10 minutes later she returned. The nurse opened the door half way as our family member was held up by us in underwear and other patients and staff passed by the doorway. Really? She indicated an antibiotic was needed. After staples were extracted the medical assistant announced an x-ray was needed and if we thought the patient would be unable to maneuver alone we should come with to the x-ray room to help. Wow - very surprised at this requirement and the indifference shown. Medical assistant just stood by while we assisted for w-ray. Beyond surprised. Another 15 minutes before the Dr came in. Very cavalier and clearly had no clue who the patient was and any related information we needed from him for the antibiotic and further treatment plan in rehab and thereafter. He couldn't get out fast enough. Fundamental issue was not a shred of real care or concern. People mill. The prescription for antibiotics wasn't sent to the place we specified so took another day to track down where they sent it and have it redirected. All on us and the practice didn't help at all. Unfortunately have to go back for another checkup with this Dr and practice. At least our expectations of long wait times and dispassionate staff is known.

I initially spoke on the phone with Johnnie, the most positive, knowledgeable office manager/receptionist ever. She helped get everything going with my insurance, scheduled all my visits and answered all my questions. Seriously, she is the insurance guru- she can find things out that no one else can! My first visit I worked with physical therapist, Gerald Parra. My medial meniscal tear could not be repaired (per my physician and the MRI results), so he looked for any areas that could be improved, muscles strengthened, etc. He took video footage of me walking and discovered things that could have led to my weaker left knee. He then came up with a plan to make things better. His 'think outside the box' approach to analyzing every small part of my foot/knee/leg has already paid off. Two weeks into therapy and I rode my bicycle 50 miles yesterday, pain-free and with stronger legs/knees. I've also worked with another PT there named Bles. She is amazing and also a 'think outside of the box' problem solver. Every visit she asks questions and re-evaluates what's working and what can be changed for the better. Between Gerald and Bles, I get two great minds analyzing my road to repair/improvement. There is also an amazing PT tech there named Arlene- who keeps me (and all the other clients there) on track with our exercises/stretches, and keeps us all laughing with her fun comments/awesome personality. Two more weeks left of therapy, and I will miss going there when it's over. If you have an injury, I truly believe that no one can do a better job to figure out your unique journey to recovery/improvement.
