Dan Brown is a liar. Be careful! They refused to put down mice traps. Told us we need to purchase them ourselves. What is the point of for pest control when they tell you to handle it ourselves. I used this company for 25 years - didn't have any major problems and when I called to schedule a quarterly treatment they said that since I had gone longer than my quarterly treatment I would have to pay an initial fee for them to come out and do my service and sign a contract. Now remember - I had this company for 25 years and NEVER did they mention that you have to keep quarterly service up to date or your contract is null - and mind you - I NEVER signed a contract 25 years ago either - and they wanted a contract signed and there was no fee when I started 25 years ago. I told them that I was not going to pay an initial fee when they have been doing my home for 25 years. I told them I would rather find a new pest control company then pay a company I had used for so long an initial fee. I had been a LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR 25 YEARS! They did come out and do my termite inspection, as planned, and a month after they did the inspection they sent me a letter and said they could not renew my termite contract. This makes me a little skeptical of their services! I am going to be interested to see what is said when new company does my inspection! I do not have a problem with the employees of Brown Pest but they do have questionable business ethics - I do not think the owner is business savvy and they have zero loyalty to their customers! If they changed their policies they needed to update their clients by e-mail or letter or something as to these changes! This company needs someone with good business ethics and client relations to run this place! i would be weary of this company because of owner - VERY BAD COMMUNICATION ! Mr. Peter is amazing! He is full of knowledge and very understanding. I am not a fan of any kind of insect (even ants), but when Mr. Peter comes he makes sure to hit every corner inside and outside of the house and cleans off all spider web and Cobb webs from outside of the house. I used Browns Pest control and I'm sorely disappointed they have been out here 3 times and I still have bugs! Then the owner called me today and said we probably need to get another company because they can't get rid of the cock roach problem this after telling me if they still weren't gone he would come out again! We had a nest of European Hornets that was wreaking havoc on our honeybees and the nest was about 35 to 40 feet off the ground in the hollow of a tree. I got a recommendation to contact Brown, so I called them up. It took a couple of tries to kill the hornets as the hornets are very tough and the nest was hard to get to, but Brown was able to eradicate them. I appreciated the effort they put into killing the hornets and also keeping at it until the job was done, and also the cost was reasonable. I would definitely contact Brown again for any pest control issues I have in the future. read more

Second time in as many years this has happened. I call up needing them to come out for an ant invasion, only to be told the soonest they can come is over a week away. Really??!! I love how they tell you "If you have any problems between your scheduled spraying, call us." I've been using them for about 25 years - being a longtime client apparently doesn't matter. I am not happy with this company. We have ants, they come out an spay and we still have ants. They say call if you have any issues and when you do they put you off weeks! I had to call to schedule a follow up when I was told the office would call me. I do not recommend Brown, they loop you into a contract and do not provide good service. I have used Brown Pest Control for years and have been extremely pleased with the service they provide. In addition to the usual pests, they have helped me remove bats and flying squirrels from my home. they have frequently come between quarterly visits to help with an unexpected pest and have never charged extra for that service. Hey I don't know what's going on with these guys but they have came out to my house 2 times for roaches..and I still have them...1st time the guy came.... I left my house and I have no idea what he did...its seems like he brought them out but they didn't die..2nd time the same person came and sprayed and wasn't friendly and was kinda of rude and I had to tell him to spray in the laundry room...THIS JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE PEST CONTROL COMPANY HAS COME OUT 2 TIME ...AND WISH ME LUCK ON THE 3 SPRAY read more
