I've been going here for four years since, and I've had an excellent haircut every single time. Haircut is always as requested, and I really appreciate that Klay takes his time to make sure everything is done well. Also was super nice when Klay remembered me after coming here several times, and remembered the exact cut that I get! There usually is a bit of a wait during peak times (the wait is still absolutely worth it), but the atmosphere is great, and there is usually a movie playing in the background to help pass the time. The price is very reasonable, and it's really nice to be able to fully trust your barber with your hair. Hands down the best barber I've ever been to.

Scheduled a cut and came in explaining that I wanted more a a mullet/wolfcut with more of the volume of hair being lower and the upper portion thinner to prevent a bowl style as I explained that I didn't want a bowl cut. The barber misted my hair which didn't properly weigh it down to cut. When checking it over after the first few cuts I mentioned how the back looked very one length and that I would like it if we can make sure there's layers. That's when the barber said "yeah you won't see much difference because of the curls with layers"...... that's why I asked for long layers with the style?? I hate leaving a bad review but I quite literally got the haircut I said I didn't want and wished that the barber could've been upfront about not being able to properly cut it. Chuck has a passion for his craft and has been making people look better for 40 years (or more...might have been 42 years). With a single chair and an appointment, there is no rush. Chuck is focused and diligent. Converses if you engage him, but is perfectly fine allowing time to pass is peace. I got the full treatment; hot towels on the face, straight razor beard lines, beard trim, shampoo, and cut. I left feeling like a million bucks. If Donald Trump spent an hour with Chuck he would walk out looking like Brad Pitt.

The other remaining person on the wait list forgot to check in and after realizing that, asked if they had to wait 20 more minutes and without asking or saying anything to me they took him back and I was moved to the last spot and walked out - unreal experience that makes some things worth giving a review so someone hopefully notices at the higher level and works to correct the disconnect.
