The food was good. I don't know that two sides and four pieces of chicken which were two legs and two wings were really worth $17 but the food was good and fresh Be aware, that they do have a credit card transaction fee now. Little add ons add up

This is by far the best chicken restaurant in the Chicago land area. This place is head & heels above Kentucky Fried Chicken & Popeye's. This place has more of a home cooked feel to it. This particular location is a lot bigger than some of the other Brown's Chicken I have been to. This one has a very big dining room. Most of the other Brown's Chicken locations are mostly for catering or take out & they have only a few seats inside to sit down & eat. This one has a lot of seats to sit down & eat. Their meal combos make it a good option to come to for lunch. The chicken here especially the chicken sandwich is some of the best & tastiest chicken around. Probably the one thing that makes this place stand out from other fast food chicken restaurants is their sides. Their golden brown mushrooms are delicious. Some of the other sides that are just as delicious are their macaroni & cheese, their biscuits & their mashed potatoes & gravy. If you're not looking for chicken they also have some good seafood options. They have three different seafood meals but the catfish or the butterfly shrimp was the tastiest. Overall the location is convenient & the food is tasty. I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.

The Cole slaw was delicious (according to my husband). Not too cabbagy, not too much vinegar and not liquidy. The turkey bowl is very good: moist flavorful turkey, decent stuffing and moist, fluffy delicious mash potatoes and gravy!! I can easily eat just mashed potatoes and gravy for my whole meal. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean

I used to love Browns and every once in a while I will stop in when I see one. I just ordered some chicken sandwiches for people at work and they were no good. They used to make an awesome sandwich but now they are nothing like before. The chicken breast is way smaller and thinner and the lettuce used was brown, wilted and had holes in it. The tomatoes were tiny and over ripe. I had to take all that off to eat the thing. The experience was a total bummer. For shame Browns Chicken - you are not even trying !

It makes me laugh when people with a healthy sense of self-entitlement get all huffy and give bad one star reviews for mildly bruised egos or minor inconveniences from minimum wage service workers. Why get pissed off when $20 feeds 4 semi-piggy people? Relax! Anyway, Brown's Chicken is a Chicagoland based chain that hasn't had much traction outside of the area, perhaps b/c of some bad press years ago related to an incident at another location involving murderous psychopaths that eluded justice for a decade ("Brown's Chicken Massacre" in Wikipedia if you're morbidly curious). It's really too bad, because it tastes better than a lot of other fried chicken from chains I've tried around the USA. Brown's uses a recipe of a buttermilk coating fried in a neutral tasting cottonseed oil, which makes for super crunchy and less greasy chicken coming out when it's freshly made. It's fast food, so make sure to wait for the freshly cooked stuff and you won't be disappointed by soggy chicken that's been sitting around in its own grease under a heating element. It's a regional chicken style and Brown's will even sell leftover chicken by the box at a big discount for less picky folks that want to save some dough. I find the non-chicken items standard fare and rather unremarkable except for the tasty fried mushrooms, but others seem to like them. Brown's does a hefty catering business and seeing boxes of Brown's chicken, pasta and sides at events was a common sight growing up in Chicago. "Brown's Chicken, it tastes better!" If you grew up watching TV around here, you just sang the theme in the same way the commercials did (yes, you sure did, just admit it). It's one of those local Chicago things that people familiar with it--even the out-of-state traveling gourmet types or the unreasonable one-star yelp reviewer types--will go back to time and again, b/c it's kinda always been around tempting us in the background. Check it out, why not.

The owner helped us with moving tables around and her, the team, the chef, and the servers were very nice and thoughtful. Also, the ambiance of the location was so clean. It definitely felt like home. As a Filipino American, missing home, all the decor was cool and the photos with close up details was super cool. Now the food? Holy $h!!! It was soo good! I wouldn't have known fusion wings with Filipino flavors was so good! Also, with our half of the group, we shared the 100 family plan with 8 people. It was super worth the price to divide that with 8! 100 wings, 5 flavors of wings, 4 flavors of fries, 2 rice, 2 veggie sticks, and ranch? If I could give them a 20/5 I would! We can't wait to go back!

I thought both flavors were pretty good - Honey Thai Chili and Soy Garlic. There was extra sauce in the recess of the container for each flavor that I used a spoon to pour over the chicken which was necessary, especially for the Soy Garlic since the pieces were on the dry side otherwise. I didn't care much for the fried rice because there was too much sesame oil. The eggrolls were good and the included dipping sauce container was huge! The parmesan garlic fried corn was good too. Overall would try again but would avoid the rice plates and get the chicken by itself. Visit date: 3/13/26

A sweet hostess guided us through the large white table clothed dining room to a bright big windowed patio-like area in the back of the restaurant. Showing up in T-shirts and gym shoes, we assumed we would sit at the bar but after speaking the hostess we decided on the dining room apologizing for our appearance even though they were not phased. I just moved to the area and wasn't sure what to expect but Ki's is a great spot to have nearby! It has more options that your typical steakhouse. There seems to be a little bit of Greek influence, offering kababs (which were SO good), saganki and Grecian seasonings. An underdog is definitely the pot roast, not usually something I'd order off a menu but when it came to the table and I tried it, I instantly regretted not getting it as a meal. However, I was very satisfied with the cedar plank salmon I ordered that was cooked to perfection. I'm very excited to have this place nearby. I've heard awesome things about their Sunday brunch so I can't wait to return during different hours and try different things!
