Ki's sushi looks a little understated from the roadside, but there are some dang good reasons why that parking lot is nearly always full. First off, this restaurant is huge! A sweet hostess guided us through the large white table clothed dining room to a bright big windowed patio-like area in the back of the restaurant. Showing up in T-shirts and gym shoes, we assumed we would sit at the bar but after speaking the hostess we decided on the dining room apologizing for our appearance even though they were not phased. I just moved to the area and wasn't sure what to expect but Ki's is a great spot to have nearby! It has more options that your typical steakhouse. There seems to be a little bit of Greek influence, offering kababs (which were SO good), saganki and Grecian seasonings. An underdog is definitely the pot roast, not usually something I'd order off a menu but when it came to the table and I tried it, I instantly regretted not getting it as a meal. However, I was very satisfied with the cedar plank salmon I ordered that was cooked to perfection. I'm very excited to have this place nearby. My boyfriend surprised me with dinner for my birthday at Ki's Seafood and Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. I love that it's been around since the 1930s. Such a cool, historic touch. The service was excellent, although it was late Tuesday night, they were only three or four other couples in the dining room. The host/manager? was very friendly. As I was waiting for my friend at the doorway which is not quite inside the restaurant he stepped out to see if I was OK. I told him I was waiting on someone. I thought that was very nice of him. My friend and I both ordered the liver and onions. It was very good. Mine did have a grizzly vein that ran through it otherwise it was very tender and perfectly cooked.. my friend said his piece did not have any grizzly parts to it. There were lots of onions and bacon on top of it. It came with broccoli, which could've been cooked just a little bit more my other side was garlic, mashed potatoes , I thought there was a little too much garlic in them .Unfortunately, they were out of soup for the evening . Overall, it was a good dinner and a good experience. Today I called to ask about the all you can eat Friday fish fry. I've gone to Ki's every year during lent because there are a number of people who order the fish fry. consequently the fish is usually fresh. When I called I found out it is no longer all you can eat, although the amount of fish they give you is more than adequate I rarely ever asked for seconds. They no longer serve a combination of cod and shrimp. The fish fry now is only cod with the usual sides., you can add four pieces of shrimp for an up charge of $9.95 . That seems pricey to me. in the past, the shrimp were very large and tender, in the past you could also choose if you wanted all cod or all shrimp or the combination. The cost of the cod dinner is $22.95. They also have a shrimp entrée on the menu. I am very disappointed they made this change .I've decided to skip going to Kai's this year. read more

Their menu offers great selections and all of their food is delicious. If you get there when it's not very crowded, you can get seated by the windows and watch the animals playing outside. The ambiance was great! The hostess was all smiles and very welcoming! You immediately feel comfortable. The decor is an older feel but nice! The food was great! We had a great cup of cream of chicken rice. Very creamy, tasty and just enough for a starter! My wife had a chopped salad that was presented in a very new school bowl! Large and a little artistic. A lot of fresh veggies, , guacamole and fresh lettuce. It was delicious. I had the chicken spinakia. A breaded, boneless chicken breast covered in saganaki cheese and giardinera! My last visit for lunch I ordered a half sandwich that was stuffed with very tasty moist turkey w/slice of tomato - I could hardly fit it in my mouth. $11.00 ?? Where can you eat lunch for $11.00?? (Also ccompanied by a cup of beef barley soup) Sooo good. BUT - my strongest suggestion? Do not go home without ordering their homemade banana cream pie for dessert. OMG...... To die for. Have been going to KI's for years and the food, service, and people have always been great. Recently made reservation on a Friday night, which were confirmed but 45 minutes later we were still waiting. Owner tried to split out party into two different booths but we there to eat and enjoy each others company, no be at different tables. So almost 1-hour of waiting, we left. What happened to honoring a reservation?!?! Then we went to leave and because they allow semi-trucks to park in their lot, parking was very limited and some inconsiderate Ass, double parked behind us and we could not get out! WTH?!?! We have celebrated every holiday at Ki's for the past five years. However we celebrated Easter there this past Sunday for brunch and we were very disappointed. Service was excellent but the quality of the food was less than expected. The quantity was plenty but the quality was less than average. Also the price went up to $52.95 per person and then on top of that they charged $4.50 for coffee and a Diet Coke each plus an $8.50 liquor charge. I would have never ordered a mimosa had I known it was going to be $8.50. For what you charge per person coffee soft drinks and mimosas should be included. After spending $225 for three people to have Easter Brunch we could have had a feast at home and guaranteed food would be hot and delicious. We definitely will be looking elsewhere in the future. read more

I've been going to Ki's since I was five years old! The Best! Handicapped access. They have a ramp It is a beautiful place to eat. I haven't been on the ROOFTOP yet but plan to. IF you want to eat there for special occasions, call a month in advance. I'm going for the Easter Buffet and for Mother's Day! I Highly recommend this restaurant for anything you want to remember. My brother Gary loved Ki's as did my Mom and Dad! My brother's funeral dinner was there as was my Mom's. . The staff can handle anything. The food is excellent. Last night was the first time that I've eaten here in seven years. The place was very busy but we had reservations and were seated immediately. The food was excellent, I had the fettuccine Alfredo with Blackened shrimp and cream of broccoli soup. On this visit I had an appetizer for my lunch. It was their calamari. Their calamari is always cooked to perfection. Tender and great tasting with a ton of sauce on the side. The service is amazing! Our family members frequent it weekly. We come in from out of town and have been here twice and even though it's not many times, it is a highlight of our trips. To say the staff is amazing is an understatement. You can dress up or down. No one really cares. You can sit in the dinning room and have a quaint meal or you can sit at the bar with some friends and enjoy some drinks while you pick out songs on TouchTunes and the gaming machines. The outside deck is fun. Love all of this but let me get down to what the best part is... Moe the donkey and the other animals on the back part of their lot. So much fun!!!! Get the Shrimp Dejonghe. It will blow your socks off. Dip the bread in the leftover butter. The fettuccine Alfredo is delicious. Salads also delicious. Can't recommend it enough. I placed an order to go for shrimp and salad for Peggy and I ordered the shish kebabs made with chicken. Back to the hotel room, I opened the bag, oh my my my the goodies. First the onion soup. It was to die for. Fortunately it's a pretty large serving and since we're going to stay over another day I may get to enjoy this delight tomorrow. Next up was the salad for Peggy, spinach, strawberries feta cheese and really great dressing with shrimp mixed into the whole thing. My bride does not normally say this and it was unusual but she said it was delicious. Which I asked a question would you get it again? She said absolutely. So I guess you can take that as a recommendation for the salad shrimp strawberries. I was debating what to get because there's so many good things there.
