My roadside assistance…read moreinitially contacted Pearlman's but about an hour before they were supposed to pick my car up they cancelled saying they didn't have the right equipment for the job. Another towing company was contacted, and a few hours later the driver (Josh) called to get specifics about getting into the garage. The garage has signs posted that the clearance is 6 foot 6 inches. Josh indicated that the tow truck was the smallest that they had but it needed 7 foot clearance. I walked through the garage and measured the actual clearance to get to my car and it varied between 6'10" and 7'1". In my experience with tow truck drivers most would have said it's too tight and I'm out of luck. Josh kept cool and said he'll give it a shot. We literally had to slow down to a crawl under every concrete column to determine if the truck would clear them. Most of them had less than an inch of clearance with some being like a 16th of an inch. It took forever to get to my car and then on the way out the truck wasn't going to clear the lowest column due to how the weight of my car shifted the height of the truck. Josh pulled some maneuver to drop my car and pull it until we cleared that column. He also indicated that if necessary he would remove the light bar cover on the top of the truck if necessary. It was stressful and painstakingly slow but we finally made it out!! This is the first time I've ever had to be towed where not only was the driver not grumpy and grizzled, he went above and beyond to get the job done whereas others refused to even try. If he couldn't get my car out of the garage it would have been stuck there for who knows how long, and I would have missed my kid's soccer game that night. I put the car in reverse, and it took off, full speed backwards across the parking lot! Fortunately, I was able to smash the brakes on just in time and nobody got hurt. But it was a terrifying experience. I drove to the closest body shop, which happened to be Next Level Auto on Altamont Avenue. I pulled into the parking spot, and they were able to get the car in that day. Everyone at the shop was very helpful and honest. They fixed the pedal on the car. I need to go back there to get the brakes on that car checked next... I feel confident recommending this auto shop for any of your car repairs.

Very pleasant experiences with this business. I recently had…read morean exhaust system replaced on a commuter car I own, and have had wheel bearings replaced on a pleasure car which I own. Both experiences were very good. The exhaust system was for a Toyota Camry. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Very reasonable hourly rate, lower than most dealerships by far. The staff even dropped me off at home after I left the car with them and offered to pick me up when the work was completed, or even bring the car to me at home. Almost unheard of these days. The work was completed on time, and the cost was right in line with the estimate. I cannot think of a single negative aspect of this experience. The previous car with the wheel bearing replacement was a Mercedes CLK320 convertible. Despite the car being a little less familiar, the technicians had no problem finding the correct parts and materials to complete the work in a timely manner and correctly. I am having another vehicle looked at by them next week and I have great confidence they will be thorough, the work will be done correctly the first time and the cost will be reasonable. It's very nice to be able to build a relationship with a trusted locally owned repair and maintenance facility. I recommend this business with complete confidence.
