I haven't joined a group run quite yet tho my understanding is that they offer a few different distances, routes, and groups running at different speeds. Last night I attended their first ladies event. While I wasn't able to make it to the 4:30 pm run, I was happy to attend the evening of fun that followed. With my two best gal pals in tow we took in this store and event. Upon walking in the door we were impressed by the large crowd of attendees and jamming' tunes. There was so much to eat and so much to do. For starters there was a sports bra fitting offered by Brooks, a libations table offering champagne, wine, and beer, multiple food stations with a chocolate fountain, cookies, fruits, pot stickers, deviled eggs, chicken, spring rolls, chips and three layer dip, and more. These ladies obviously know how to throw a party. The fun didn't stop there. We enjoyed a fashion show which displayed the hottest running fashion gear and trends followed by a raffle. Now this was no ordinary raffle, they gave out nearly twenty killer prizes. From free sports bras, to special edition tanks, to gift certificates to the store, to Nike bags, every winner was elated. The only strange thing was a group of ladies that somehow amassed a pile of raffle tickets as some of their friends had left the event (they took home about 1/3 of the prizes tho they did spread the tickets among themselves). All fun aside In Motion had a plethora of beautiful running sneakers, clothing, accessories, and hydration supplements. If you fall in love with a product and they don't have the size you are looking for let them know and they'll happily order it for you. There's a lounge with plenty of seating, Eldorado water, and a station of nearly every foam roller and rehab stick you can find. There's also an in house physical therapist and massuese, truly a one stop shop. Definitely check this place out for your running and fitness needs!

They take your money and then string you along claiming the shoes will ship soon. They never do. After waiting 3 weeks and exchanging numerous emails, I had to cancel my order. Buy from them at your own risk......you are unlikely to ever get your shoes.

I just bought some Gravity 12s from the online store and I wore them a few times. I noticed that the sole of the heel was coming loose. I took a picture of it and sent it to customer service. I never heard back from them and I was getting frustrated with them. After about a week, I decided that I may need to find another running shoe. I got home from work one day earlier this week and there was a brand new pair of sneakers at the house! They were the same exact color and size! Nice! Thank you Newton!

She said they would match that price if I could prove that to her. I said I had a piece of paper in my car that had a photo of those Stegmann shoes and the price on it. I asked her if I got it for her would she give me the discount and match the Stegmann price. She said she would. I walked back to my car and got it, and she then told me it wasn't the same shoe when they were identical. I had the photo there to show her. She was very rude to me and refused to honor what she had said about matching the price. This is an inappropriate way to treat a customer. Please respond to my complaint. Rita

I purchased Lems primal 3 shoes online on Feb 19th. I wore them on a 4 day work trip (think walking…read morethrough airports, and around town a bit) and they were blown out in multiple spots, and the laces coming apart. Obviously really poorly made. I reached out to the shop to see if they could help and they told me they'd put in a warranty claim with Lems. About a month later I checked in and they said they were still waiting to hear back. I'm sitting here yet another month later and haven't heard anything. I've never bought a pair of $120 shoes that lasted 4 days and I was stuck with. Won't be purchasing from this shop or buying Lem(on)s again.

But this afternoon I arrived at Whiteside's at 3pm (on a Saturday!) and they repaired the heels on my dress shoes, lickety-split, while I waited. My shoes look brand new. I'd like to give it a better review, but in all honesty, the treatment I receive by staff is a big part of patronizing shops like this - and I didn't get a warm, or even acceptable, reception. If you're not sporting an "I've got cash to spend" attitude, then I doubt you'll get a friendly, much less helpful, welcome.

I understand they're all tried on, but when I expressed concern the owner snapped back about HER profitability. No response when I emailed them about this. They're selling the same pair on eBay for $39! To think they could have discounted the shoes for me due to excessive shop-worn condition upsets me. I only got $11 off, same as every single new customer, and wish I'd asked for a better pair or that THEY OFFERED. This store specializes in "natural" running shoes with minimal soles so that your feet feel the ground more compared with the super cushioned stuff that you find with most mainstream shoe brands. This is literally a mom and pop shop, the owners are a husband/wife team of avid runners and they were super friendly and helpful. They analyzed my running form and also have an option to have custom orthotic cushioning added onto the sole based on your foot shape. Mind you, this wasn't a true custom orthotic made with a mold (which they also do), but this was essentially foam pieces custom cut and glued to the sole to give additional cushioning to key parts of my foot. I can't say I'm a hardcore runner, but I've tried many brands and this pair is one of my favorites. Besides the color which I love, they have elastic shoelaces that you just slip your feet in and tighten. You can also throw the shoes in the washing machine. Most importantly, they feel great to run in. Talking to the owners you can tell they're passionate about running, the owner literally wrote a book on natural running and they threw in a copy of the book with my shoes. I was visiting the area from out of town and did not plan to buy shoes but I love these shoes so much once I wear out my first pair I think I'll order another pair from them. Highly recommend that you drop by and try the shoes on if you're in the area. My package (including the shoes and custom cushioning) was about $180, so a little expensive if you're just a casual runner but about what you'd pay for running shoes from any of the mainstream brands. To be honest though, the shoes are so comfortable and easy to slip on that I sometimes find myself just using them for day to day usage, so I'm getting more utility from them than just running.
