While they carry attractive/popular older vintage California cabs that sell for between $50-$150/bottle, they are not properly cared for & more than likely corked/spoiled...8-10+year old $150 bottles of wine rapidly deteriorate if not stored in proper temperature controlled environments. These bottles should NOT be standing vertical, rather they should be laid horizontal... After speaking with the manager, he advised that they DO NOT stand behind their products & all sales of their over priced vinegar are final. This is unlike the previous owner... FYI, most reputable wine stores that want to build clientele & stay in business don't sell vinegar & stand behind their product. (Of course no business would accept an empty bottle as proof that it was of poor quality...however a 9/10 bottle of vinegar would suffice) If you're looking for wine, that's NOT OVERPRICED & properly cared for, Total Wine is worth the extra travel time! The instructor provided a brief history of Dusse. We got a Dusse lemonade as we walked in. There was also a charcuterie board for light snack. We made an additional cocktail during the class. Prices are comparable to other stores but not always lower. It is smaller compared to the big chains. Service is on par with other stores - staff is always helpful and friendly. The store is bright and open and laid out well. I walked in today and walked out with a 12 year bottle of Weller. I challenge you to find it in any other store without being a part of their club, or requiring you to purchase other bottles of lower tier bourbon first. Other than "1 per customer" anyone could buy it. Thank you for your service to the common man. Can't wait to see what I find next time.
