Visited this Total Wine location when my partner and I were heading to a holiday bbq and it was so convenient. Located in a busy shopping plaza and street in Kennesaw, this store is massive and filled with all of the libations and mix-ins that you can dream of. Total Wine is a brand that I like and always have high expectations of regarding their selection. If you want to find a new bev to love, looking for a gift for an event host or even a cigar to relax with - they've got it covered. It's been a while since I've had questions, but love that their team is well-versed in what's available and are eager to assist if needed. When I visited it was packed! They had 3-4 lanes open checking people out and that really made all of the difference when it came to my checkout time. I went in knowing exactly what I was purchasing, found it and was out of the store in less than 20 minutes, (including me lollygagging for a few). Total Wine's selection is huge, especially for wine and spirits, and I can usually find what I'm looking for without having to make multiple stops. They also carry beer, mixers, accessories, and gift items, so it's an easy place to pick up everything at once. I also appreciate that the store is organized well enough that you can browse without feeling completely overwhelmed. If I'm looking for something specific or want a recommendation, the staff is generally knowledgeable and helpful, particularly in the wine and spirits sections. That seems to be one of the stronger points of this location overall. The only reason I'd stop short of 5 stars is that service can be a little inconsistent depending on how busy they are. Sometimes checkout moves quickly, and other times it can take longer than you'd expect for a store this size. It's located in Barrett Pavilion, so there's plenty of parking and it's easy to combine with other errands in the area. read more

This really is a great store. I went to a store closer to my house looking for a gift to my neighbor, and wanted to get him Finlandia Vodka. They had no clue. So, I was sure that Total Wine would have it. But for some reason that item had been discontinued. I explained the reason why I wanted to buy that particular Vodka to my neighbor. I'm from Finland, and wanted to surprise him. So this extreamly knowledgeable sales lady googled the Finlandia Vodka, and found out that there is another Finnish product available. That's TOM of Finland, organic Vodka, less sugar and made out of pure ingredients. Amazing, I didn't even know that it existed. I had not seen it in the liquor stores in Finland. Needless to say, again Total Wine exceeded my expectations. Over and over, it's the best liquor store in Metro Atlanta area. I love the Kennesaw location. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I genuinely felt like I was racially profiled. I came into the store with my husband. I had my ID with me, but my husband didn't. He wasn't even in line with me--he was simply browsing in another part of the store while I checked out. As I was paying, an older white employee came up and told me I couldn't purchase my items unless my husband showed his ID. I found this completely unreasonable. The store's policy says customers who appear under 30 will be asked for ID, yet my husband wasn't even making the purchase. The whole interaction felt unnecessary, embarrassing, and unprofessional. It left me wondering whether we were treated differently because of our race. Regardless, this is not good customer service, and the way the situation was handled made us feel unwelcome. I searched all over town looking for Fugi Apple Sake, Total Wine was the ONLY store that carries it- it was just what I was looking for!

I recently learned this is the only location that has liquor. The rest or beer and wine only. It's a huge store and the selection of whisky, tequila, etc. goes as far as the eye can see! Do not hesitate, come here and check it out. Your only problem will be sticking to a budget and not going home with the whole store. read more

AMAZING SELECTION This place has any alcoholic drink you are looking for!!! They have regular, everyday bottles of anything you could imagine. They have expensive aged bottles that you couldn't find elsewhere. For example, they had French Armagnac (similar to Cognac/brandy) distilled in 1943 and another in 1953!!! ENVIRONMENT The place is very clean and well laid out. The isles are roomy, where smallest isles are two grocery carts wide. Main isles are really wide. The online website will even tell you the isle where something is located, and if they have something in stock and how much it costs. PRICES Costs are fair. You might be able to find some things cheaper somewhere else...if you can find it somewhere else. The point is, you will find it here, and price will be fair. read more

I like this place but the customer service is hit or miss and mainly miss for me. I have had some very helpful workers there but a few visits ago, there was a worker who refused to help us. She helped others but was very dismissive of us. The funny thing is that I had hundreds of dollars of product in my basket. A couple of weeks ago, a cashier got mad with me because I left my bottles in the hand basket. I was so uncomfortable that I could not wait to check out. Will go back but will avoid the staff if possible. read more

Total Wine and More is a pretty large spirits store. It's located in the Barrett Pavilion shopping. I believe this is my second time visiting. Each time the staff made my visit very pleasant. Right now I'm trying to learn about wines. Sense I'm not big on alcohol (really) (not yet :/) I decided to take a dip in the wine pool. Today! I'm visiting for a decent and reasonable bottle of wine, for the girls get together. The pricing they have for there wines seems okay. But! Again I'm learning. And that means learning the wines regions all the way to the pricing. I was somewhat intimidated, because I was clueless about everything. So! Therefore I just walked around admiring all the nice bottles of wines and liquors. Until I decided to phone a friend who knows about these things. A long story short I chose a bottle of Chardonnay. So! After walking around for countless minutes. I did choose a couple more bottle of wine and some mini liquors. With that being said I do believe this will be one of my go too spirit stores. read more

Justin Seeman, the manager of this location, along with his absolutely amazing team saved our wedding this week. Justin went above and beyond to locate all of the Lone Star beer he could find when it was cut from our wedding order. He found solutions fast and was just fantastic. Highly, highly, highly recommend and not just for emergencies- this store is always beautifully stocked and full of a knowledgeable team to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Justin made the impossible possible and I am oh so happy to have met him. Cheers to the Total Wine team! This Total Wine and More location in Kennesaw is my preferred store. The great thing about this particular location is that they also sell liquor. I don't bother going anywhere else for alcohol in the area since this is a one stop shop. Their prices are better than the local liquor stores and they tend to have a much wider selection of wine and alcohol than even the larger liquor stores around. The wine prices can be a tad inflated but my wine of choice is only sold at a few places in Georgia and Total Wine is one of those places, so It's nice to be able to get it close to home . The customer service here is stellar, there is always an associate close by who is eager to help you find what you are looking for. If I have no idea what to get they offer great suggestions as well. They have the coolest gifts available for alcohol lovers and those who simply want to impress people with their cute wine trinkets. They also offer a large selection of miniature alcohol bottles. read more

One of the best liquor stores around. They carry a good selection of everything. Liquor, beer, wine, mixers - even cigars. Decent prices. Friendly staff. If they don't have something, they can probably order it for you. Why did I leave off the 5th star? I get annoyed with hard to find items. Some shops just jack up the prices when they get in rare bottles (like charging 8 to 10 times the MSRP). I haven't seen Total Wine gouge prices like that but they do have some lotteries for hard to find bottles. How do you get in on the lottery? Become a Grand Reserve loyalty member. How do you do that? Just get over 25,000 points (by spending $2,500 there in a year). I get it, money talks. read more

I love Total Wine & More! However nothing beats the Kennesaw location. This location offers wine, beer, & liquor. It's you're one stop shop. The store is fairly large and the staff are always very helpful. This location has been operating serving the community ever since Covid hit which is very much appreciated. This store is conveniently located the the shopping plaza next to Old Navy, ULTA, and Target. There's plenty of parking including curbside pick up availability. They are open Monday - Sunday with flexible hours to meet customers needs. If you're ever in the Kennesaw area near Barrett Parkway and in need of some liquid courage (lol) go this store out! I'm not a drinker so I don't really know a lot about these things. This is why I come here because the sales associates will help me pick out a bottle of something something from some Vineyard in California for $50 and it'll turn out to be everyone's favorite at a social gathering. This is only my second time coming to this location. I usually go to the Alpharetta store location because I have friends that live out that way and when I go I usually will bring a bottle of wine for them. The store here seem to have a similar layout and the employees are as helpful as the ones in the Alpharetta location. Never had problems with any of my purchases and or transactions. This is one of my FAVORITE Total Wine & Mores... It has hard alcohol. Don't get me wrong, I adore Total Wine & More stores. I think that they are the best price for whatever alcohol you're looking for almost hands down. I have yet to find something at a lower cost elsewhere, but seeing as I haven't purchased every single thing they sell, I can't promise that it's all the best cost, just the items I have purchased there have been. Regardless, when it comes to TW&M, I discovered after moving to the greater Atlanta area that not all of them have hard alcohol, and it's hard to discern which one has just wine and beer versus, all kinds of alcohol. Rest assured, this is one of the "good ones" with all of your alcohol needs. Also, the staff here has always been incredible. I have a friend who lives out of state and always places an order for a full box of certain varieties before I go visit. The workers here will help you locate full cases, climb up any little ladders, and carry out whatever you need. AND, bonus round, they all do it with a smile. I love the staff that works here and am incredibly grateful for the help that they've always been willing to provide. Great experience all around! read more

As always, a great selection but they are getting greedy on their pricing. I frequently find bottles here that are $5-$30 more, starting at about the $35 up to the $80+ range, than some of the mom and pop shops I go to. Recently I was in-store looking for a specific bottle of wine which the website said they had for $22.97, when I got there it was $34.99 on the shelf. I re-checked the price online and realized I'd been shopping a KY location most recently so when I switched stores online, sure enough, same bottle was $12 more at this store. Checking my receipt when I got home I realized they charged me $35.99 so it was actually a 56% increase over their store in KY. I understand there are different alcohol taxes per state but come on. Next, a bottle of Barrell Bourbon batch #27. This bottle is $74.99 at my local favorite but $104.99 at this Total Wine. Scam. There are numerous examples of this when I walk the store. Occasionally you'll find a bottle for less than other places but you should! Their buying power is far greater than other places. If it weren't for the occasional hard to find bottle of wine, I would not go back. 3 stars for inventory and a good staff, 1 star for the price. read more

Beautiful location, selection and store. I honestly would love to visit again; however, I do not recommend this location if you're a person of color. Unfortunately, I was verbally assaulted by another customer of another race (in which I did not provoke the situation) and there was no intervention to alleviate the issue. While in this climate, I do not believe that anyone should 'jump' in defensive, if ANYONE should speak with profanity or hostility to another while in a business establishment, they should be asked to leave. It is bad business to have those type of customer's support. That was not done, and I personally do not feel safe shopping at this location. Please use your judgement. Update (9-14-23): I did speak with the Manager, who informed me that he would review the footage and going forward use it as a teaching tool so that employees can better delegate and diffuse situations where a customer is being hostile towards another customer or employee. He agreed that such behavior should not be tolerated and is not welcome at the store. read more

I didn't have the opportunity to explore the entire store, I went with a few people that were rushing thru and my son was with me and touching things - lol which is probably why the manager ( the only guy in a white button down and slacks) was kind of rude to us, following us around, watching closely.... Smizing when nothing was funny. so annoying. My friend bought cigars an beer, I purchased a few samples of the angry orchard hard cider apple beer, which I like a lot. The wine selections were great, but again I didn't get a chance to explore much, we did look at some really cool red cup wine glasses and they had great deals on vodka gift sets. As I stated before, the management staff was not that nice to us, but the guy that helped us in the cigar room was very helpful, he gave us a box to carry the cigars that were purchased. Total Wine has always been one of my favorite places to shop. The employees are always very knowledgeable about their products and I've loved being a customer there, until recently. I bought a bottle of Caymus Cabernet for my family, specifically my father for Christmas. As a person in the service industry, I had saved up for this bottle and it was a splurge, but I felt it was worth it. Unfortunately the bottle was dropped on Christmas Day. I went in person to total wine to hopefully be able to replace the bottle, but was greeted by a sales associate who's only response was: "no sorry there's nothing we do". After contacting the corporate office I was told to call back and speak to the store manager, as it would be up to their discretion as to whether or not they could replace the bottle after the unfortunate and accidental circumstance. The manager I spoke to on the phone also did not seem to care, was very short, and made me feel like an inconvenience. On top of this situation already being heart breaking, the last thing I needed was for someone to treat me with little respect and lack of care. After myself and family being loyal customers to total wine for countless years for holidays, birthdays, graduations, and many great milestone and celebratory events we were really upset to be treated with such little care. You would think that someone would at least show compassion and describe their company policies, but the only answers I got today were that they don't replace broken bottles. That was it. We will no longer be customers to total wine because of their poor customer service. read more

Companies a lot bigger than Total Wine have had data breaches, so there is no excuse for a small local store like Total Wine to scan ID and expect customers to have confidence that their information will be kept safe from identity theft. Of course you should comply with the law against underage sales. That is not the issue. If someone looks underage, go ahead and look at his or her ID to make sure you are following the law. But it is possible to follow with the law without retaining personal information that you have no way to keep safe. (Yes, I am sure you try to keep the information safe, and you may even try your best, but if major banks and national retailers can't always keep data safe, neither can you. Given that reality, it is not reasonable to retain a customer's personal information.) read more

I just had an extremely unpleasant experience at the Total Wine here in Kennesaw that has probably ended my 10+ years of shopping at this place. Normally the store is great and I have a good customer experience, today however my visit left me feeling unappreciated and highly disappointed as I was showing the area Kennesaw area and it's amenities to my financial advisor who's in town on business and currently looking to purchase a home in Georgia. Moving forward to the unpleasant experience, as I was checking out, I said to my financial advisor "wow this is the first time in probably 4-5 years I've been able to check out and leave without needing a shopping cart".... To my surprise and shock, the sales associate chimed in to our conversation to " Oh good for you!". I laughed the remark off and as a miscommunicated congratulatory statement and asked could I enter my rewards number to get my rewards points for my purchase. After completing the payment for the purchase ($140+), the associate point to the bag containing the items that I had just purchased and says "there's your bag" and then put her hands in her pockets and stepped back and momentarily proceeded to watch me pick up the bag, which I almost dropped as she neglected to even open the handle straps!!!. Despite the aforementioned, I politely said hav e a nice day and initially told myself that I was some how misreading the situation. However after leaving the store parking lot my financial advisor brings up the situation, and says "how much money do you normally spend there?" To which I replied "$300-$700+". To which he responded "Na that's crazy! And that's how they talk to you and treat you!?".... I'm going to pray on this and think on it some more but for now and the foreseeable future I unfortunately won't be spending my money here. read more

Really enjoy the selection of alcohol they have here. They have so much different things and if you are looking for it they are more than likely to have it from my experience. The store is large and divided out in sections of different types of spirits, wines, beers, you name it! Top shelf to bottom shelf. The prices are pretty decent as well compared to my liquor stores that are more convenient down the road. Really enjoy coming here and looking at the large selection. My husband and I chart every bottle of wine that we open. Do we know what we're doing??? NO! But for a couple of years we've been playing this game and have gotten a feel for what we like. We base our choices on ratings (preferably 85 or higher), employee recommendations, or sometimes just the description. Oh yes -- we have to come in at $10 per bottle or less. (When we open the bottle it's a blind taste-test; we try not to look at what we're tasting, and we write our opinions and scores down ... so as to not influence the other.) With that said, Total Wine is a perfect place for us to shop. We come armed with our list -- we try not to duplicate -- and the staff is always so helpful, and generally amused by what we're doing. There are so many choices at this shop! (And fyi, some of the $4 wines have come in with higher ratings than the $10 bottles. Once in awhile we'll splurge up to $20 ... but we generally think it's not worth it.) Because this store sells spirits, law prohibits them from staging tastings -- thus my rating of 4 rather than 5 -- but this is really a fun place to shop. And REI is right next door! read more

Total Wine and More has became a favorite place for my husband and I to browse when our daughter is staying with family. We can both get lost in here for an hour. I love the large selection, the personal staff recommendations, and the excellent organization. The staff also seems pretty knowledgeable about product. I recently stopped an associate and asked a very specific question that she was able to answer with obvious knowledge on the topic. Overall, I would like to give this store 5 stars but have to knock them down to 4 due to a recent promotion. I believe the promotion was 15% off 12 bottles of wine (or something similar). I read the signage, collected my bottles, and was told at the register that if my bottles had a certain cent ending, they would not qualify. I didn't feel like the numerous signs around the store were clear enough and was put in an awkward position when I had 12 bottles of wine at checkout and 2 of the bottles didn't qualify. With three customers already lined up behind me, I didn't feel that I could stop checking out to fetch a couple replacement bottles. The promotion just felt like more of an inconvenience to the customer. Though I've enjoyed trying a number of new bottles of wine, I also feel mildly annoyed every time I think of this experience and how much money I lost by not being able to take part of the promotion. read more
