Great options from brands I've tried previous and many I have not tried, various flavor profiles too. Bonus points are given for having two new to me THC brands as samples today.

For years I've shopped at Total Wine about once a month in the hopes of picking up a couple of 1.5 -litre bottles, along with my usual wine and beer favorites. They've seldom had more than one or two bottles (often none) of ANY size Taylor Dry Sherry, much less the 1.5-litre size. I spoke to a manager about it once, and he says they don't stock a lot of it, because not many people buy it. (Duh. They don't buy it because it's NEVER IN STOCK!) He then suggested that I order it online and just come to the store to pick it up. So I tried that. I went online to order it, and it said "not in stock". After all this time, I'm finally giving up -- they haven't had it in stock for over six weeks now! Although Mink's Liquor Store on Delk Road is a little more of a drive, I've finally switched over. They had plenty in stock, along with the other beverages my household usually drinks, and I've found that it's even cheaper there!

What a liquor store!!…read more I visited Local Vine with my partner after a movie date and I'm so glad that we checked it out. Although I'm not currently drinking, I am a wine lover and my bf appreciates a really fine bourbon and whiskey, so it was worth a peek inside. This place is huge! We visited on a Saturday and it was extremely clean, quiet and not incredibly busy, which I love. The store was quite organized, laying out the different types of spirits, beers and wines in a very clear way. They offered an insane variety of various brands, from local to international, low-cost to big bucks, there was really something in stock for everyone. We walked down a few aisles just seeing what they offered, welcoming my bf to give me some background on some of the finer options for sale in the whiskey/bourbon section. I did notice that there weren't many employees on the floor to help guide folks through the selections, but luckily I was there with my own connoisseur. When we went to find some ciders to take home, I was almost disappointed as there wasn't much variety in the fridges but when we went down another aisle, we found some great options that were on the shelf. Some we hadn't even heard of before! Really a great store full of different spirits, mixers and more for all kinds of vibes, we'll be back!

I will go out of my way to visit Local Vine because of the variety and selection they offer for craft beer, wine, and champagne. I usually go for the Georgia craft and typically can find fresh Wild Leap, Firemaker, Scofflaw, Monday Night, and New Realm in stock. The staff is always friendly and everyone is usually willing to help. If you are looking for a specialty liquor for any event, chances are you can probably find it here. They will ask you if you are a member but you don't have to be one to purchase. Pro tip: if you check in, you can get a discount off bulk purchases (wine bottles for vino lovers).

Stout Bros is easily one of my favorite spots to grab a beer in Smyrna...and here are a few reasons…read morewhy! Location - Heart of Smyrna, in the beautiful Smyrna Market Village! This means that parking is plentiful with spots lining the streets or a few adjacent lots surrounding the village. Service - Always stellar! Every time we stop by, we always try a few different beers and the fellas working the counter are the most patient and friendly folks that clearly love what they do and love sharing their knowledge and expertise of all things beer with their patrons! We usually just tell them the variety of beer we are looking for, they recommend something that fits the bill and then we drink! And their recommendations have never been off, always spot on! Selection - To start, on tap they 40+ rotating taps of well known, obscure, local and far from home beers of ALL varieties! In addition to the beers, they have a few non-alcoholic things for the DD's and kids of the group. These range from cold brew coffee to popsicles. They also have a variety of snack foods from pretzels, popcorn, pimiento cheese, hummus to flatbreads and jerky! And if you decide you want something out of the can or bottle, they got you covered there too with a wide variety lining the shelves of the shop! They sell many varieties by the single can or pack. You can also grab a growler of your favorite tap beer! Layout - Not the biggest of places, but it is perfectly situated on the corner just one block off of Atlanta Road. They have a few high tops inside, along with a larger table and some window front counters if you are drinking in...and outside they have a few tables sitting along the brick sidewalks. Can't go wrong with either, both gives you easy access to your next tasty brew! Overall, really enjoy having Stout Brothers in the neighborhood for many reasons! Weirdly enough, once I wrap this review I am headed over there to get me a Saturday afternoon beer!

Great place for wine and fun. Friendly crowd and active, involved owner. Highly recommend.read more

My wife and I enjoy wine tastings and visiting wineries, so we were excited to finally have a night…read moreto check out this local wine market. Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment.
