I found Kally Threading on Yelp and saw the reviews were good and decided to give it a shot. I am a fan! I called and was advised I could just walk in, which is very convenient as my last salon required appts and sometimes they were more than a month out and if you had to cancel it was almost impossible to reschedule without waiting another month for an appt to come open. Kally threading is in a shopping complex with easy access and parking. The gal working was so nice, efficient, and detailed. I was in and out in 20 minutes and my brows look better than ever (and that is saying a lot because the last place did a fantastic job but charged too much). I ended up buying a package plan, which is a really great deal (5 brow threads with tint for 100). She is the first barber I've had in almost 20 years that cuts my wavy hair with out understanding anything more than a buzz. In my case, I let my hair grow for 15 months during the covid incarceration(s). When I decided to get a trim, one "stylist" either did not listen or was eager to just give me a weed-eater special and get me out the door. Devi was able to fix that. Her cuts are predictable time to time. That is important and often lacking in hair cutters. Besides having a real knack for hair, she is a fine-artist who paints. (check her work out on instagram). Her artisit's eye is obvious in how she cuts hair. It's a one-chair shop that's enclosed within a tattoo parlor. There is good, off-street parking. She explained to me in detail what she was doing and why and handled my face very delicately. I now have super long, thick, luscious lashes a la Kardashian style and I LOVE them! It took about two hours and I spent it relaxing on a comfortable bed listening to great music while Whitney worked her magic. I don't know if I can ever go back to normal lashes again. Plus I no longer feel the need to wear eye make up; the lashes make my eyes pop and I feel so pretty! Saves me time on my morning make up routine too! On the call, I was offered an apology for how the experience made me feel; there was no acknowledgment of the massage therapist's actions or any assurance that the issue would be addressed. It was clear they didn't truly understand the situation or have an ethical process for handling it, leaving me feeling embarrassed for spending $120 here.
