FUN. All the while, she continued to flawlessly do hair and make-up! I have to highlight that my sister is typically hesitant to have professional hair and make-up done as she doesn't usually feel like herself. She often requests 'natural' and 'light' make-up, yet stylists typically go heavy - which is normal for photos/the industry. However, Marissa NAILED her make-up and her request and my sister said this was the very first time she'd ever received professional make-up where she genuinely loved her look. She said she felt like she was in her own skin, ~but glam. I loved my hair and make-up on the trial day, yet Marissa worked with me to make it ultimately PERFECT for the day of the wedding. We had lots of rain on our wedding day, and both my hair and make-up held up through all of it!! I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and had a great experience with Brea. I had expressed that I was I was feeling a bit self-conscious and anxious and Brea helped me feel less so with her calm and professional manner. (Side note, she likes to read so I found talking about books with her to be a great way to distract myself). It sounded like Brea had waxed a number of pregnant ladies already in her waxing career so that was reassuring. I thought she did a phenomenal job. I swear it wasn't as painful as waxing for me in the past had been and I was really happy with the results. I had forgotten my jacket but the company even texted me so I could return and get it. Excellent service all around. I also really liked the studio. It was clean inside and there were a lot of cute signs and things to look at that fit with the bee theme. I do wish they could have decorated the ceiling somehow as that was mainly my view during the service-- perhaps a dangling bee garland would be cute? I will say I wish they had an extra curtain or partition of some sort (what are those called, a Japanese room divider?). You enter through a door and then they pull the curtain closed to cover the door. Maybe they could put one more curtain perpendicular to that one at the foot of the bed just to give a little bit more sense of peace of mind regarding privacy. She is simply amazing and makes the process so smooth you wonder why you waited so long to book in the first place! I have seen Amber 3 times now, the first time was in 2019, a touch up a few weeks later, and then again this past Monday. Does it hurt? A little, but its not bad at all, she even uses a numbing cream after the first pass so you don't feel a thing after that. Is it expensive? Considering that you are permanently tattooing your face, NO! You get what you pay for, and Amber provides the after care AND a touch up appointment, so I find her to be extremely affordable! I save so much money and time not buying eyebrow pencils and filling in my brows, that alone is priceless. PLUS, the result is so natural!! How long is the healing time? About a month, but honestly after they peel the first time (about 5 days after your appointment) they look perfect (you don't even realize you still have some time to heal). I love the full and natural lash look Cassie was able to give to me. She gave me great care tips and my lashes were easy to maintain (as easy as lash extensions can be, anyway). My appointments were always very fun and relaxing. The table that you lay on is soft and heated. I must admit, I fell asleep on the table a time or two. Cassie is great at what she does. Maybe someday she'll have one of those portable air conditioners which will make for a much more comfortable experience.
