TLDR: Yeon redesigned and corrected my jacked up microblading from 3 years ago with a fabulous set of powder brows and I was so happy and impressed with her work that I'm coming back to get my eyeliner done next month. I contacted Yeon based on her location, yelp reviews and instagram photos of her work. I am from Reno, NV and was looking to get my brows microbladed while on a visit to family. I was impressed my her photos on instagram as well as her reasonable price points. I contacted her via yelp and she responded within a few minutes by text. I was able to book my desired date quite easily. I sent her pictures and she advised that I should consider powder brows based on the appearance of my previously microbladed brows. I appreciated that she also sent covid 19 guidelines for her business because I am very cautious of where I go to during this pandemic. On the day of my appointment I texted Yeon upon arrival and she promptly responded that I should come in. She greeted me as soon as I arrived and gave me waivers to fill out regarding covid 19- all very reasonable requests and I gladly signed every line. She then led me to her work station and asked if I needed to use the restroom beforehand. The restroom is outside of her office space but just right around the corner so is very conveniently located. Yeon's room is very neatly organized, with cubicles to place your personal belongings, a table for her clients to lay down on and a tray with her tools. The tray containing her tools was very clean and organized and she had a box of disposable gloves ready for our session. The table was lined with exam table paper like at a doctor's office. I felt very comfortable and safe in her office space. Yeon spent a lot of time mapping my brows. If you need a coverup or a different style than previous work then you know the importance of this step. She took photos of my brows, which were penciled in the shape I usually wear them, then proceeded to clean my brows thoroughly before mapping. She used my photos as a reference while mapping my brows to get the perfect shape snd also improve the shape based on my face and my previous work. She knocked it out of the park with this process and I was already impressed and so at ease at this point. She spent a lot of time on this portion because my previous work (from 3 years ago) needed a lot of correction based on what I wanted to achieve during this session. Yeon has the patience of a saint and is so focused on details. She explained every step and was very clear with what she could do with my brows. When I saw what she mapped I was really blown away because she corrected things that I never even noticed. She is a true artist and very meticulous. As far as the actual powder brow procedure, it was what was expected. She numbed the area for 10 minutes and then proceeded to use something similar to a tattoo gun and also a manual micro needling tool. She frequently checked her work and re-mapped my brows as she needed to achieve symmetry. She also asked if I felt any pain because she could add more numbing agent for my comfort. I have a very high threshold for pain so I didn't really need numbing, but for those of you that are concerned with the level of pain or discomfort you may experience, rest assured, Yeon is very cognizant of your well being and will numb you out as much as you need. As Yeon was in the home stretch of finishing, she showed me her progress and also pointed out places in my previous work that were not completely covered, which was reiterated from when she mapped my brows in the beginning. She also showed me places where she thought pigment would not take. I appreciated her transparency and honesty regarding this. This was a unique situation since my previous work was so vastly different than we were attempting to achieve this session. Given what she had to work with, she went above and beyond what I thought was possible. During the last few minutes of the procedure and including during the 10 minutes of "ink baking" she explained aftercare and also the importance of the touch up session. I booked my next appointment at that time and also discussed possible eyeliner work in the future. The total time that I was in her office from start to finish was 4.5 hours. Typically it is a 3 hour procedure, but because of the challenge of covering previous microbladed brows, she put in the extra time to essentially redesign and correct my brows, not only cover them. I can't thank her enough for all the time she put into making my experience so positive and producing the best possible outcome for this brow coverup. I wish I could have hugged her! After everything was completed, I paid through Venmo and she gave me a cute little bag with aftercare instructions along with a sample of Aquafor and a business card. I am definitely looking forward to the touch up and getting my eyeliner done in April. I highly recommend Yeon for her services. read more

FIRST TIME experiencing anytime of semi-permeant tattoo and it was a an awesome experience. She spent 1.5 hours mapping my eyebrows to the way I wanted and the way it fit my face. At first I wanted microblading on my brows but Yeon advised against it since I have oily skin and she recommended ombre instead based on my skin condition. I did not know what color to use for my brows but she recommended dark espresso and if it's too light, she said we can go darker when I come back for the 2nd time; since its better to go light to darker. As the a first timer, she gave a lot of recommendation and advise because I had no clue what to do. After my brows were done, I was shocked because it was bolder and darker but Yeon reassured me that it will get lighter in color and shrink about 20% through the healing process. After 1 week, my brows are healed and it looked perfect. So if you are first timer like me just trust Yeon! It will be darker and bolder and your friends, boyfriend or husband will make fun of you but you will have brows after 1-2 weeks! Brow Power! Thanks Yeon Also, my mom got her brows done too!
