the menu of a coffee shop

I reviewed this place one year ago (I only come to Cortland in the summer) and my idea of the place hasn't changed much. You wouldn't know from the outside just how much space and seating they have (a TON). Drinks and food are on point.

I will start this as I always do by saying that I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. I really like this place. It has a great feel to it. I love the wood and metal decor. Also the idea of the coffee shop/ beer and wine bar. If this was in my town I would be here all the time. So After my praise of how much I like this place I am sure you are wondering why the 3 stars and not four or five? I struggled with giving it 3 stars but did it because The flatbread was a little disappointing. I saw that it had a spicy marinara and I love spice. It was not spicy and the sausage was lacking. I should have ordered a bagel sandwich as I saw a few of those go by and they looked bomb. The iced green tea was very good. I will come back for sure. Only in hopes of changing this to 4 stars as I really liked this place. Please give this place a shot as I think I may have just ordered the wrong thing. Please give it a shot and let me know if I am right.

Great coffee shop. The food is good and there are tons of outlets and tables and the service was great. I really can't find much wrong with this place, and any time I'm in the area, I always come back.

Great service! They offer a gluten free bagel and it's delicious. I also ordered the pomegranate green tea I didn't think it would be sweetened but it was...I'm not made at it but I would've preferred unsweet. Very cool place and sparkly clean restroom. Perfect place to stop and rest for a bit on my road trip.

Good coffee and pastries. Bagels are OK. I've only tried one hard cider and it was pretty excellent!

I was traveling for work and ended up having to stay from Friday to Saturday night in Cortland. The live music was awesome! I came in to have a quick bite and a nice beer and ended up staying all night long. Needless to say, I love the concept of somewhere you can have a beer or a coffee, and the community in this cafe/bar is amazing. I would 100% come back!

Bru 64 is a must stop when in Cortland. Bagels, cookies, and coffee... who needs more. Delicious

Hip for this town! Large venue, very clean, bright energy amongst staff, probably the espressos and CBD oils ;) Service was fast. My drink delicious. Prices good, cheaper than NYC!! They had a cool mixed beer and espresso offerings that would make this place worth going to say or night! Though I don't live in this town and will not likely return, I can say with confidence that I'd go back.

Good coffee. Quick service. A decent bagel for upstate NY. Overall good place for a quick breakfast or coffee while in Cortland.

Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. It's very popular, so parking may be tough. There is a city lot next door.

Just when you think customer service couldn't get worse they hire more dour faces incapable of saying hello may I help you. Lazy ownership.

Just had a tea. Business was brisk, and many tables were full at 3:00 on a Tuesday.

Prices are listed NOWHERE!!! That is not hyperbole. A person with an iPad cones out to take your…read moreorder, and you'd think that would help them have your order ready by the time you pull forward but that's not what happens. The music is loud and it is niche-- I think 10% of visitors can tolerate it, and I think less than 1% would consider it their favorite genre.... There are two lanes, neither is labeled and for first-timers, there is no way to know that it doesn't matter which lane to get in. There is no "abort" lane if you change your mind. My drinks were exactly as I ordered them, so that's nice, but for 1 small decaf half sweet caramel breve and one large energy with blue raspberry, it was $16. I don't know which is worse, thinking that they were both $8 each (yikes!) or thinking that there were different prices and that one of them was MORE than $8. Also, there is no walk up window. They painted the words "walk up" on the windows and propped open the kitchen door, but no one greets you if you stand there for 5 minutes.

I recently saw someone mention 7 Brew Coffee in a vlog, and a few days later, one of my coworkers…read moreshowed up with a drink from there that looked so good. I had never noticed them before, but suddenly I started seeing their shops pop up--and then, while driving through Cortland, I spotted one and had to make a quick turn into the drive-thru! It was my first time, so I let the guy at the window know, and he was super helpful with recommendations. I ended up getting what I think is called the Blondie--a hot drink (Can. E made hot or cold) with caramel, espresso, and half-and-half. I asked for just one shot of espresso instead of the usual two, since it was already 7:30 p.m. and I didn't want to be bouncing off the walls all night. Also, I don't like a strong taste of espresso, so one shot was just enough for me. They added caramel and sugarcane syrup to mine, but at first, the coffee flavor was a little too strong for my taste (I'm one of those people who doesn't like coffee until it's dressed up with all the goodies ). But what I really appreciated is how patient and helpful they were. Even after the drink was made, they didn't mind me adjusting it and adding sugar (Splenda) until it tasted just right. I even got whipped cream on top! One thing I noticed was that they have a digital menu--as you're driving up, there's a QR code you can scan to check it out. I don't really recall seeing a traditional menu posted in the drive-thru, but I may have missed it. It was raining that evening, but the cozy, hot drink hit the spot. My 16 oz drink came to about $6, and baby, I did not regret it one bit. So flavorful, comforting, and satisfying. The barista was very knowledgeable and also told me about their energy drinks and refreshers--which I can't wait to try next time! All in all, amazing service, a delicious drink, and a vibe worth revisiting. 10/10 recommend!
