Great organic coffee, roasted locally and brewed with a reverse osmosis water system. Cold brew is also really nice on a hot day and there's always some new micro brew or rare kegs on tap to keep your BRU64 club cards filled! read more

This place is off to a great start. I love the "coffee house- pour house" sign in the window. The modern design is a great addition to Cortland's Main St. line up. Very eclectic group of employees; still trying to get the reigns but doing a wonderful job. They have a great selection of coffee drinks (I think they're serving CoffeeMania... Not 100% positive though), small bites, and beer, both on draft and bottles/cans. I really hope this place makes a go of it; I see it becoming a regular spot for me during my last semester of school! read more

The folks at BRU 64 are committed to providing a great experience for their customers. The baristas know their craft and are also knowledgeable about beers and wines. The new food menu is also first rate! My personal favorites are the mushroom flatbread and steak sandwich. read more

This place is great! There is something for everyone. Delicious coffees and teas. Great cafe snacks. A huge variety of beers and wines, each thoughtfully selected. The atmosphere is great. Kind owners who really care about their customers. This is our go to place! The only complaint I have is that the one bartender is just a little too flirtatious. read more

My favorite part about Bru is the absolutely stellar protein shakes they make from scratch. Being located right between two gyms make them very accessible for a much needed cooldown for athletes. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the seating is in a spacious area, and the help is friendly and courteous. I have no qualms with Bru! read more

So happy we stumbled upon this great Cafe on the way home from Family weekend at Syracuse University. Looking for breakfast so we had egg sandwiches, coffee drinks and protein blenders. Wish I could have that bacon egg and cheese on a hot bagel every morning. My hot expresso with almond and coconut was luscious. Everyone was very happy with their selection and we purchased a few sweets to sample on the long ride into Westchester County. Hope to get back here some day. read more

Thoughtful design and good aesthetics. Beer and wine after 4pm. Just one small TV above the bar area. Good refuge from blaring TVs and sports. When we were there, they were playing the radio, which was sort of off-putting - the local butt rock station doesn't make for the chill, relaxed vibe this place would otherwise offer. Unimpressed after 2 visits. Out of numerous menu items both visits. Generally indifferent employees and trying to be something they aren't. My beer was poured terribly and they were plain rude when I asked them to let it settle and finish pouring it. If I'm at a shoddy bar buying cheap beer I'd expect it, but if your selling yourself as a nicer place you need to be better than what I experienced. Won't go back a third time. read more

This is the best place to hang out in Cortland. They serve coffee Mania coffee which is the best in central New York. They have great big good and wonderful staff. I love the wrap-around windows and seating to look out on the town. Places to eat inside, privately or outside. Close to the college. read more

This place is great! My husband works overnights, so often when we're out, he wants coffee and I want wine/beer so Bru does the trick. It's also really nice for him to be able to get a good cup of coffee or an espresso and not just the leftover coffee that's been sitting around all day. The staff are super friendly and service is always good. They don't have a huge menu, but definitely have some good snacks. The students in town thankfully haven't discovered this place yet so it's more of an older crowd. It's a good place to bring a laptop/tablet and get some work done during the day. Went for the first time before my semester at SUNY Cortland ended. The coffee was spot on and let's talk about the skillet of Mac and cheese. I'm obsessed with spiral noodles, so I was super excited. All the different cheeses gives the Mac and cheese the best taste. I tell everyone about it. They have other food options and their desserts looked amazing. If I hadn't filled up on the Mac and cheese I would have gotten one of each. Definitely a great place for Cortland. Super cool interior as well. Go check it out! read more

I love love love Bru. Their coffee is spot on. They make a killer caramel macchiato. All of their desserts are delicious. I especially love their cinnamon rolls, which they will warm for you. Their chocolate chip cookies are tasty. Their bagels have the perfect amount of cream cheese and I love how they cut them. I love their interior. Cozy atmosphere for sure. I'd give this place a 3.5. It looks more like a cafe inside and I like it for that purpose. The wine list is pretty bad (cheap and undrinkable wines). But the inside of the place is nice. Just wish their menu and wine list were equally attractive. read more
