In my 27 years of real estate and changing out locks year in and year out, I never come across a locksmith of such caliber. On time, reasonable and a professional job each and every time. It is the only company I have ever heard of who is police permitted, which is great protection in my business dealing with evictions and vacancy issues, not to mention people's valuables in the premises. Be sure to have Joe check your doors and windows while he there to insure and advise of any further measures needed to protect your premises. One client he showed how through the garage doggy door anyone could reach up and unlock the interior doorknob and enter, giving full access inside the home! He added a high deadbolt to the inside-viola! Cheap fix to a unknown danger! He also does safes, which is a speciality in itself. I brought a house key to Brucar with a couple others that the Do It Center had tried to reproduce for me but wouldn't work. She looked at them and had so much knowledge about why the key may or may not work. She chose a different type of key to make the key on, and it ended up working perfectly. Called again to let me know he could be here in twenty minutes. So, three check-ins from the office staff. So much better than most other places that ignore/forget about you. I was house sitting and accidentally locked myself out of the master bedroom at 4 in the morning, with the dog and my cellphone inside. After trying all the typical methods, and searching the house for a key, I was super freaked out and wasn't sure what to do. Luckily my friend was available and let me use her phone to call these guys. I'm so happy they answered, as some places claiming they were 24/7 didn't! I was really nervous to have a stranger come into the home so late at night/early in the morning, but he was so nice and I felt completely comfortable with him (Even the dogs loved him!). I called Brucar to see about getting a keypad door lock installed on my front door. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, asking me questions to make sure they could help us out. She set up an appointment for me the next day, with a two hour window for when to expect the technician. On the day of the appointment, she called to let me know the technician was on his way and to verify the address. Joe arrived and was awesome. He had to go back to the shop to get the correct color for the lock and returned quickly. He installed the lock for us, tested it out, showed us how to operate it, and made sure the keys worked on all of our doors. Excellent customer service, I would definitely use them again! read more
