I called Brucar at around 5:30 pm to see if I could have my locks rekeyed that evening. They said no problem and that they could be at my place very quickly. After giving them my home address information, they arrived within 10 minutes. I had three locks rekeyed and the job was done within 30 minutes. The work was done quickly and was done very well. The locksmith was very nice and professional and I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs to have any locks rekeyed. The price was reasonable and I am very pleased. I have worked with Brucar Locksmith now three times. The first experience was really great! Their technician is very nice. The second experience was a lock out. It was very expensive (I believe it was $90). The staff that came to my house was very rude to me. I guess he was upset that he had to come to my house at the end of his work day (it was 5:00pm)? It was not the same technician as the first day, as that guy is very nice. (IFor the price i was paying, I was shocked to see someone who wouldn't even speak to me in a service job. Finally, I just recently paid to have my locks changed. In the change of ownership of the keys, somehow I didn't get one of the keys. I explained that none of the keys fit into this lock, and they were very understanding at first, but when they called me back they were very rude to me. They cut me off and said I threw them in the trash and that I would have to pay their lock out fee again. I would think a company I have given hundreds of dollars to already in just six months would want to keep their clientele. I will not be using them again. read more

Recently moved to a new home and needed to get the place re-keyed. I had seen good reviews for Brucar from both Yelp and Angie's so I gave them a call. We set up an appointment for the next day and they gave me a 2-hour appointment window. During that time, they called me to let me know they were on the way. Joe showed up with his van right in the middle of that time. He came and took a look at what I had, and figured out what he needed to do to change the locks. Also, I did not have a dead-bolt in-between the garage and the house and Joe said he could put one in and quoted me a price for everything. It sounded good to me, so I told him to go ahead. He changed all the locks, made the new duplicate keys, added the deadbolt, and cleaned-up after himself. 2-weeks later, everything is still fitting smooth and working great!
