Since my doctor signed onto Orchard medical group, I've been sent a handful of letters all telling me that I need to start paying $100 annually to cover, "administrative costs." here's what it doesn't cover: quick, online results; speedy responses for phone calls; efficient, timely communication with pharmacies; means of getting hold of the group other than direct phone calls. Sounds like I'm paying $100 out-of-pocket to get worse service. Needless to say, I gladly let them let go with me at the end of the year. Love my doctor, but there are lots and lots of groups that don't charge administrative costs for bad administrative services. As a matter fact, most places offer much better administrative service for nothing.

We got a letter and asked for referrals. None were forthcoming. Apparently his former partners are regarding his patients as new patients. And none of the physicians will see us even though we paid the requested concierge fee for the PRACTICE in 2024 and 2025. Our physician friends have told us that typically during a retirement, patients are transitioned to other doctors in the practice. Not this time. So we're urgently trying to locate an acceptable primary care physician for my disabled wife and I after several decades as patients of Orchard Medical. The physicians left in Orchard Medical really don't care about anyone but their individual patients. They ought to be ashamed.

Similarly, about 3 years ago when I first met Dr. Anderson, she diagnosed sleep apnea when it was missed for the 7 prior years by a neurologist and 2 previous primary care physicians. Sep 9, 2022Previous review After being a patient in this practice, long before it became MCWHC, like two decades long, my previous doctors retired, one after the other. Since the changes in doctors in this office, that for me began this year, it was a nightmare to get an appointment, no one seemed to know who was where and when. Had a procedure scheduled for March and received a call 3 days prior regarding the meds and was told that the procedure needed to be pre-paid, even though I have very good insurance. Was 'allowed' to make arrangements since I hadn't been notified and providing that I pay a portion up front. Subsequent billing to my insurance company was submitted with my name reading two different ways and insurance company processed the claims as two different people with two different deductibles. While in direct contact with the billing department, it took me 4 months to get it straight with the insurance company. All along, I continued to make monthly payments since I didn't originally know where the fault lay. Once I discovered it was the bill submissions that caused the errors and delay in payment, the claims were corrected by the insurance company. The very same day that I receive the corrected statement from insurance, I received a voice mail that I was being sent to collection. I returned the call and told them to do whatever they felt was necessary. Not one time did I receive an apology for the months of agony dealing with the insurance company that had to go through every single claim from every single provider this year to resolve the issue. The billing department of MCWHC further claimed that I had not made a payment since March when, in fact, I had paid over $800 while all of this was happening. After receiving nonsense responses from billing, telling me where to look on their website but in no way providing confirmation of my payments, I finally began sending emails directly to Dr. Clear to no avail. My emails have gone completely ignored. Last communication I had with her was that she was going to reach out to my oncology gyne for a consult and get back to me, that's right, oncology. Never heard another word. Maybe I am dying, I guess I won't know from Dr. Clear. The last email I sent to Dr. Clear, I made it clear that no response is a response. After reading all of the complaints here on Yelp, I could not agree more with the rudeness of the billing office and the office staff. They could care less about your health, they are all in for the money. I told Dr. Clear that it is unfortunate that she and others came into a practice that was built long and hard by others that they are destroying day by day. Very sad. Please go somewhere else as I am.

We kept the doctor updated regarding the medication's success. But after my the prescription ran out and five phone calls requesting a refill and explaining that we' had had a terrible financial year and a huge deductible, Ewing refused to call in more medication. She insisted that we scheduled another appointment and we had to wait 3 months because she is booked up. My daughter's acne returned with a vengeance while we waited to see the doctor. Then I had to pay $200 to sit in her office so she could hand me the RX I had requested months earlier. This is why health care reform is so critical. Dr Ewing gets the cash and we get screwed.

We sat in the room for a bit and w got him changed, cleaned and ready to go. All of the small processes in the room were stress-free and thorough. The family and I went out during his knee surgery and once that was completed the doctor called to let me know surgery was complete and everything went well. Then a nurse called and advised me on what happens next and let me talk to him. Once we arrived back we waited a short time and then we were able to head back to see him. Only two at a time. This staff member's behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, and was completely misaligned with the standards expected in a healthcare facility (a place that is supposed to provide a safe space in serving patients who may be emotionally vulnerable or concerned about their health). This staff member spoke to me, my family, as well as other patients in a manner that was extremely rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful. Her tone of voice and demeanor conveyed an attitude of complete irritation, pure laziness, and a clear lack of accountability. Additionally, we witnessed her yell at an older patron to "Go sit down!" while he was attempting to ask a question. Her display of hostility toward someone simply seeking clarity about an update was horrifying. She is a BULLY. It seems as if this staff member counts on others not catching or hearing what she says (out loud or under her breath), or banks on no one speaking up against her or calling her out. I can 100% guarantee that this is not an isolated incident exhibited by this individual, but a continuous inappropriate behavior of hers that has never been addressed or corrected by management. This individual should be given a harsh consequence or be placed on some type of a behavior correction plan. Better yet, she should be removed entirely so that she is prohibited and banned from associating with any other human beings, ASAP. It's interesting, because each of the buildings have kind and helpful greeters posted by the entrance - how is it even remotely possible for this miserable obnoxious individual who is just NOT a good person continues to be employed and be allowed to interact with current and potential patients? He does refer his patients to specialists if need be and they are all good referrals, not as caring as him though. He has a "human touch" which a lot of doctors lack. I probably in my lifetime have been to 30 doctors and there is no comparison. Dr. Geohas does research as well and this enhances his practice. He is brilliant and studies all the time about the newest methods and medicines. You will be lucky to have a doctor like Dr. Geohas. My whole family went to him but because of location some had to switch to closer locations.
