Tickets run about $26.95 for standard adult admission, with slight variations depending on the day and if purchased online or in person. Given the sheer scale of the grounds, it feels like a fair value. I went on a weekday, which I highly recommend. Parking is incredibly straightforward, you park right on-site at the SAGE Parking Facility. It starts at $3 per hour, but keep in mind that the garage is entirely cashless, so you will need a card. Also if there is an event at Piedmont Park, parking may be impacted. Check-in was quick, and while there were visitors, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. The entire experience flowed smoothly from start to finish. This is perfect for a solo adventure. They were celebrating their 50th anniversary with the Super Bloom display, and it showed. There were over 200,000 tulips and spring bulbs throughout the garden. When I reached the Great Lawn, it opened up into a full sea of color. The visual texture of so many layered, vibrant petals blooming all at once was stunning. Each section felt different. One moment I was surrounded by vibrant florals, the next I was walking through lush greenery that felt almost like a rainforest and the air was so clean. It naturally slowed me down in the best way. The Orchid Daze exhibit was a highlight for me. It was calm, lightly fragrant, and tucked away enough to feel like a quiet escape. I ended up staying longer than expected. It would have been nice, if they had more dedicated seating areas. There weren't many spaces designed for just sitting and being, closer to the flowers especially if you wanted to relax without being in the middle of foot traffic. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. There were also great spots for photography, I saw everything from casual photos to full-on portrait sessions. On-site Dining If you plan to stay for a while there is a restaurant on-site, which is convenient. The menu was simple, light bites, sandwiches, and seasonal options. Pricing was about what you'd expect for a major attraction, averaging around $25 to $40 per person for a casual lunch. Overall: A way to slow down and take things in. Peaceful, beautiful, and worth the visit. I'm already curious to see how it will transform for summer.

The Conservatory was the highlight, with orchids and enough going on to actually hold their attention for a while. Admission and parking adds up fast for a family and felt like the biggest strike against the trip. The grounds are well kept and the canopy walk gives a decent view over woods, Piedmont Park is right next door, so we wrapped up in the garden and let the kids run around the park for the second half of the afternoon/. Works well as a pair with the park if you're looking for a way to spend two hours or so.

I contacted Steve via text and via e-mail very courteously to fulfill the requirement of the warranty on a few rose bushes his team planted for me at our main home that never grew. Four of the ones that he planted for us died. He responded and scheduled a time to come and replace them. On the day he scheduled to come, he called and said that the roses were not in stock and would be the following Monday. I never heard from him the following Monday. His team them abruptly scheduled a date and time to come to plant something that I received via e-mail and didn't know on that date and time either, which was a Sunday afternoon. I kindly parked with flags the plants that needed to be replaced under the warranty from an over $1000 purchase I made on plants. The communication is subpar and I fear they do not want to fulfill the stipulations of the warranty on plants. Beware of this type of interaction and any promise they make on warranty fulfillment when you purchase services from this company.

My favorite part of the gardens is the Japanese garden with its countless deep red Japanese maples, reflecting pools, shaded benches for contemplating the gardens' beauty. It's a beautiful place to take a stroll and have lunch in the shaded outdoor dining area next to the sandwich shed. Sandwiches are delicious, prepared by the fabulous Home Restaurant in the area. With weak or no cellular signal or Wi-Fi available within the gardens, visitors can pay full attention on admiring the beauty of nature. The gardens occupies total of 376 acres, featuring over 250 acres of landscaped gardens divided into several distinct sections: the Japanese Gardens, the Monet Waterlily Gardens, the Daffodil Gardens, and the Manor Gardens. The Japanese Gardens occupy a central position within the estate, covering 40 acres and featuring streams, ponds, miniature islands, small bridges, and Japanese maples. As one strolls through this section, one can deeply contemplate the core tenets of Japanese aesthetics: *Mono no aware* (物の哀れ the pathos of things), *Wabi-sabi* (侘寂 Wabi-austere beauty and sabi -rustic patina or beauty in aging), and *Yūgen* (幽玄 profound and mysterious grace and subtleness rather than obvious beauty. mystery). *Mono no aware* is certainly palpable here; the seasonal colors are vivid, yet most of the tulips have already faded. However, visitors do not see the withered blooms, as they are swiftly cleared away. This practice is, in fact, an authentic element of Japanese aesthetics--one that does not seek to deliberately pander to visitors. After all, imperfection and impermanence inevitably evoke a sense of melancholy, which lies at the very heart of Japanese aesthetic philosophy. As for *Wabi-sabi* and *Yūgen*, they are subtly woven into every detail of the landscape, inseparable from the whole. I could sense the garden's inherent simplicity and minimalism--its use of "negative space" and evocative atmosphere--such as the circular stone steps leading into the lake, only to come to an abrupt stop. Is it perhaps an example of the essence of sudden enlightenment found in Buddhist philosophy? Throughout the gardens, various Japanese-style shrines and stone lanterns are scattered everywhere, exuding that distinct aura of ethereal elegance and profound tranquility characteristic of traditional Japanese gardens. The floral plantings are meticulously designed to rotate with the changing seasons: spring brings a display of tulips and daffodils; summer features water lilies--specifically in the "Monet Water Lily Garden," which boasts 140 varieties of lilies and a replica of Monet's bridge; and autumn offers a vibrant tapestry of colorful foliage alongside sweeping fields of Sulfur Cosmos wildflowers. I visited the Butchart Gardens in Victoria over 30 years ago--a truly stunning garden that, at the time, was awash with tulips. In terms of sheer size, Gibbs Gardens is more than six times larger than Butchart Gardens.

I was able to snag a last minute reservation for myself and 2 friends online. They have brunch on Saturday and Sunday with different menus and slightly different vibe. You choose between 2 seating times and prepay which includes tax and gratuity for a 2 hour block. The food comes and small plates and they have sooo many items. The staff is efficient and keeps the food and drinkq rolling the entire time. They have a dj and an MC which brought the brunch experience to a whole other level! Folks were vibing, dancing and singing the entire time. They also gave special shout outs and recognitions for birthdays, retirement and cancer remission. I truly enjoyed myself. The place is small and they definitely pack it out but the staff makes sure you have a good time

So I would have given 5 stars the first time & then be coming here to lower/change that review if I had done it. Let's start with the customer experience with parking.....the parking attendant yelled at us a number of times "I don't know why yall getting out the car cause I'm not opening doors until 2:15 anyway"....confusion cause our reservation was 2:00pm. He ended up being right though as not only was he the parking attendant but then changed to the person who opened the doors. So pack your patience when it comes to parking and not being let in at your reservation time (even in the rain). Once we were checked in and seated our mimosas did come right out.....and they kept them flowing for the stated hour.....however after 10 or so, I was like it's just mostly orange/mango juice. If we hadn't pregamed before I wouldn't have felt any buzz. The food was all really GOOD although the same parking attendant guy had put on an apron so he seemed to be an owner of some sorts.....let us know from jump that its an event experience and not a restaurant so although the flavor and presentation of the food is good don't expect it to come out piping hot as they are serving it buffet style groups.....if you don't get something or want more you can ask. If you are okay with paying $85 (gratuity included) when tickets purchased to catch a vibe with DJ Che Mack.....then give these folks a try and let me know if your experience is better or about the same as mine. Main food for Sunday Brunch (Fried Chicken, salmon, turkey sausage, grits, greens, deviled eggs, potatoes) and bacon upon request (not pictured) food is served based on party size but you can request more. Prior to this we were given kale salad, a fruit tray, crab salad, crab cakes (crab balls) and sweet potato corn muffin bites, whole shrimp with shell. The kale salad was the show stopper 10/10. As stated all food was served lukewarm or cold.....which for some items this is fine. The amount of food given for price was worth it, just wish the temp was better on hot items.
