If I could give zero stars, I would. I was a loyal patient of Dr. Lein for 5 to 7 years and spent significant money with this practice. I always believed they were honest and professional. That changed completely. I scheduled a 7am appointment for pain, but when it resolved, I called at 6:30am to cancel and left a voicemail since no one answered. I was then told I am permanently blocked from booking morning appointments. This policy was never disclosed and only enforced when convenient. The staff was rude and dismissive, hiding behind "office policy" and "private business" excuses. Ironically, in all my years here, I have never canceled or been late, yet I have often waited past my scheduled time. I asked for Dr. Lein to call me directly and never received a call. This experience made one thing clear. Loyalty means nothing here and transparency is optional. They would rather lose a long-term patient than handle a single reasonable cancellation with basic professionalism. read more

i fell, knocked two teeth out, damaged a few. He talked me in to getting veneers top and bottom, cost of $22,000. this us my outcome. bottom are permanent, top are temps, which I never went back and had redone as the first set were buck teeth. this is without fixing the side teeth, i can imagine that bill of an also not good result. Dr. Lein was not and is not my dentist. I was referred to him by an acquaintance (who has great teeth) to replace two veneers that needed replacing. I trusted his referral. Dr. Lein was initially engaging and funny, and I felt comfortable agreeing to a treatment plan with him. To sum up a several month long (which ended up being pretty terrible) experience, Dr. Lein delegates almost all work to his dental assistant, even work not allowed by law. When the work his dental assistant does is incorrect, or even negligent, he refuses to stand by mistakes and even becomes hostile with his attitude towards accepting responsibility for his staff and their mistakes. Mistakes happen. Just correct them. Because Dr. Lein refused to accept any responsibility for the negligent work of his dental assistant, and the absolute terrible attitude of his staff, I went elsewhere to have the negligent work redone and asked for a refund. He refused. I have discussed the issues with the Florida Board of Health and perhaps Dr. Lein and his dental assistant will face disciplinary measures. I don't know, but I do know that I absolutely want a refund because I had to have the negligent work redone, which cost me again. I stand by my assertion that finding a good dentist is very difficult, as you will see from previous reviews noted here. A standard of care needs to be offered in addition to dental skill. read more

I was referred by two people. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing dental experience of 60 years. 1) Went for crown replacement. Most of tooth beneath it was still intact, but had a small cavity on top. The woman who did the crown prep (drilled so deep in the cavity that I almost needed a root canal. (Qualified?) Two months after final crown was seated/attached, the crown chipped because it may may have also been whittled down too far. 2) Dr. Lein did examine the crown work when I came back within a few months to show him the chip. He was very friendly, but tried to imply that I had done something to damage the crown. He offered to replace it at no further cost, but said it would require further whittling down the tooth. I declined. 3) I later requested my records in preparation for an appointment with a new provider who asked for prior x-rays and records. Curious whether there was a note of Dr. Lein's offer to replace the crown at no cost, upon reading my records I was deeply disappointed. The records seemed to have been slightly altered following my last appointment when he examined the chipped crown -- altered to the point of defying logic. The records state the crown was "fabricated with" underlying metal showing ("on occlusal due to bite") AND that I had approved the crown this way (?) before seating. Chip / metal did not appear until 2 months after seating. 4) Lastly, every business needs a good gatekeeper (receptionist), who can keep the gate open to current and potential new patients rather than risk closing off a door. Receptionists provide an impression as to the business itself and everyone in it. A hardworking, affable, devoted person - even if only slightly refined - seems imperative. The business? Focused on being in the right social media realms and having varied talents among team members, but perhaps is growing too fast and for the wrong reasons to pay attention to quality and what is truly important. read more

Dr. Leins reviews are so bad, he makes it difficult to write one. My teeth cost me over $65,000.00 to have fixed including the gun disease I got from him trying to put a veneer over a tooth with a cavity. the cavity went up into my gums costing me #10,000.00 to fix. read more

Love the staff at Dr. Leins office!!! My mom, dad, husband & myself all use Dr Lein. Everyone who works there is so kind and always treats us like family! They go out of their way to ask about you and remember the little things that let you know they care. Theresa is awesome and always makes me feel special when I walk in the door & Tracy has been so kind to my husband- and we can't let kindness go unnoticed!! A fantastic office! Today I was in to get my teeth cleaned, and felt a warm welcome from the point I stepped into the office. The woman at the front desk was happy and helpful. I was invited back into the office by Nancy who greeted me warmly. She asked me about my day and made my overall experience much more comfortable. Tracey who cleaned my teeth was professional, funny and courteous. I previously went to another office in Jupiter, but found Dr. Lein's office to be a better fit for me. My mouth isn't bleeding or in pain post cleaning and all of my questions were answered with grace. He is thorough, professional and up-front about options/costs. His staff is obviously chosen carefully, as each person that I have encountered is superb, friendly and accommodating. Thank goodness I found Dr. Lein! Not only did he take care of me replacing old cavities (which had decay underneath) but he helped my son after a skatepark accident that cracked his front tooth! Dr. Lein is a kind man, and--at least from my vantage point--a good dentist. He has some technique that no other dentist I've ever seen before has used that enables him to give injections that I cannot feel. WHY CAN'T OTHER DENTISTS DO THIS?? Only problem is the loooooooong wait times when going in for routine appointments. I totally get that he needs to fit in emergency patients, but a phone call of warning, or even a warning when I walk in the door might enable me to run an errand or two instead of sitting there in the wifi-less waiting room for over an hour. My girlfriend went to get a cleaning in Sept 2020. She gave her Humana Medicare PPO card to the receptionist. Humana covers cleanings for $0 as Dr Lein is in the network. The lady who referred her gets her cleanings here and gets charged nothing and has the same exact insurance. She received a statement from Humana that he billed a total of $426. It included items like $36 for "Oral Hygiene Instructions", $53 "Office Visit For Observation", "Prophylaxis" $120 along with "Gingival Irrigation" for 4 quadrants $53 each ( $212 ). None of which the hygienist told her she was doing nor the cost of these services. As she didn't see this statement until later, she had ( ONE ) crown done. This time the statement read he billed $5307 which included the prior $426 so the crown was $4881. I understand these statements from insurance are "Not a Bill" but a "Explanation of Services." We made an appointment with Dr. Lein. After looking over the charges, he deleted everything including the $80 additional for office personnel virus protection. You decide read more

Dr Bruce Lein by far, was the best dentist I have ever been to. I was from out of town, a bit nervous and anticipating a lot of pain. Everyone there was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and all made me feel at ease. They all seemed to love working there. Dr Bruce Lein was compassionate and concerned about my pain. I was worried that the injection would be painful, but I felt no pain at all. He has his own technique which made the entire procedure painless! I have been a patient of Dr. Lien's since he took the practice over from Dr. Nicholson many years ago. I have never missed an appointment. I recently had an issue with my implant and wanted a second opinion. I had the office send x-rays to another dentist, and since then I have been treated like criminal. This is the second time I came in for a routine cleaning and Teresa gave my appointment away to someone else. I work and do not have time for these games. Like I said I have been a patient for approximately 15 years and have never missed an appointment for cleaning or anything else. She tried to get rid of me the first time she gave my cleaning appointment away, and now she made sure to get rid of me for good by doing this a second time. I wonder of Dr. Lien knows. I am an excellent patient with top-notch insurance. She should not be treating people this way or his practice will greatly suffer. Maybe someone can make sure he sees this post please. This office is fantastic. This is my second time at this dentist after going in for an emergency root canal. I have a bad fear of the dentist from childhood and explained this from the start. They were very understanding and I am happy to say that both procedures were painless including Dr. Leins painless anaethestic injections. I have one more appt. to get my crown on but my anxiety has dramatically lessened after my first two appointments. So happy I found this dentist. Whatever you do, DON'T go here!!!! They practice fraudulent billing. I went there for a cleaning, which was suppose to be fully covered by my insurance. I get to the front to check out, and they charged me $50. I asked why it was so much because I thought that preventive care was covered. The assistant told me that I was charged a $10 copay for the cleaning, $5 for some OSHA sterilization fee, and $35 for some anti-microbial medication that this dentist administers standard with every cleaning without even asking. When I got back to my office, I went on the insurance website and checked the fees and then called my insurance company. The insurance agent stated that my cleaning was suppose to be $0, the medication was suppose to be $15, and the sterilization fee was correctly billed. They called the dentist's office back to inquire about this billing and were told that the office had made a mistake and in fact, UNDERCHARGED me! The dentist's office did acknowlegde their mistake in charging me for the cleaning, but in turn they stated that the medication they gave me (without my permission) should have been charged $15/ per quadrant. They told the insurance rep that they would send me out a corrected bill for the $10 that I still owed them!! Can you believe that?!?! This is what our health care system has been reduced to. You have to walk in to these health care provider offices now armed with a pricelist from your insurance company to insure that you don't get taken advantage of by the so-called " healthcare professionals" you are going to for your medical needs. read more

This is the best dental office I've ever been to! I have moved about 14 times in my life so I have seen a ton of dentists and Dr. Lein and his staff are - hands down - the best. I drive up to Jupiter from West Palm Beach, because they are worth it. First of all, the girls that work there are so sweet and so friendly- I feel like they are a big family. And they welcome you in as a friend - every time I leave, I feel like I've just hung out with some old girlfriends!! Second, they are great at what they do - they are thorough and knowledgeable and caring. They explain things to you and teach you while you are there. Also, when necessary they really go out of their way to fit you in if you have a problem or even need a last minute cleaning. Third, Dr. Lein is smart, has tons of experience, and (I LOVE THIS) doesn't do unnecessary work just to rack up your bill. He is conservative in his practice and that's great, because the less dental work I need, the better (even though I love them, nobody wants dental work!).
