This office won't see you unless you are on a "roster" list, that's forwarded from your insurance company, once per month; regardless if your insurance is active or not. This is the Dentist's rules...not the insurance company. Since this is the provider my insurance chose, I have to wait until then. Bruce Yuille is a God gifted dentist and if I was not correct he would have been long retired as many of the ones who he attended with. I found his first office in the Edmondson village shopping center by mistake .in Nov of 1985.when I was given directions by Ed Herd who was a co worker at the former Lucas Brothers in Jesus MD. I had asked Ed did he know of any dentists and he had recommended me to his dentist .However when I followed up on the directions and saw a dental outfit in Edmonton village I thought I found it but I was wrong and instead entered into the office of Bruce Yuille .who happens to be a God sent dentist..I was at his office in catonsville recently to get a tooth pulled and was painless and successful ..He though in had given too much Novocaine but he gave what I needed to minimize paine I feel great!!! Dr Bruce helped me when nobody else would. I have been trying to get my teeth extracted for almost a yr and had only gotten half way bc of how far out the scheduling was. Not only did the wonderful staff get me in within 3 day but Dr Bruce took care of the rest of my extractions in one visit. I got no farther than the telephone receptionist. She was rude. I have a dental issue and insurance. I was told there was no way I could be seen for 3 months to wait for "approval". And if I have an emergency? No. No sign of care or concern. read more

I left a cavity in my mouth for a good 6 months (I know, horrible decision) to the point where it became severely infected and formed an abscess in my mouth. My mouth was swollen on one side like I had a gold ball or something in there lol. I don't have dental insurance and I was on the eastern shore of Maryland, which apparently only has 1)pediatric dentists or 2)dentists that won't see you if you aren't a regular, 3)they didn't do same-day extractions, and just my luck apparently they all went out of town together because some were "out of the office today". Umm ok. I called Dr. Yuille on a Sunday (super bowl Sunday to be exact) and he saw me 2 hours later, no problem. My extraction was quick, painless, affordable, and he SAVED MY LIFE. I cannot thank him enough, to this day (3 days later) I am writing this review because he was not only timely, but super knowledgable about what was happening to me. After reviewing the other reviews for Dr Yuille i decided to add my opinion. I found Dr Yuille in the yellow pages one afternoon while i laid on my sisters living room floor rolling around in pain crying from tooth pain. I was in his office within the hour. I visited the Randallstown location for the first and last time but he corrected my issue on the spot. I am terrified of the Dentist, however, his candor, sarcasm and experience comforted me. From that day on he's been my dentist but i go to the Catonsville location. Much more inviting lol. I've referred plenty people to him always advising in advance how he is and most have chosen not to return even though he's fixed their issue. Why be mad at him because he doesn't sugar coat the way you've neglected your teeth? I appreciate that he keeps it real and gets the job done. He is also upfront if he can't help you and will refer you out. read more

Dr Yuille is actually a really good dentist; I'm not sure why there are a few 1 star and 3 star ratings. He's always been very kind to our family and pricing is always reasonable. He sees everyone in my family for our dentistry work. We go to the catonsville office he has. The receptionists are always nice, it's always clean in there, and he's always been respectful. I've never felt any pain during my tooth extractions, and he makes sure to give after care instructions every time. He's also a very upfront dentist and will tell you like it is. He's not going to sugar coat anything and will always give you the best options for your teeth. read more

D.E Bad Service I recall seeing Dr. Yuille years ago and from what I remember it was a good experience. I recently saw him and was surprised with the experience I had at his office. My most recent experience at his office was unpleasant along with the appearance of his office. To top it off I left with an $80 bill that amounted to him not completing what he told me. Dr. Yuille seems rushed and shows little concern for his patients. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone. My experience occurred at the Randallstown location. After checking with my insurance cimpany, i learned that the service i received could have been no charge to $84. Horrible experience he is rude with bad breathe, he is negligent in is works as he failed to complete work in my mouth and wanted to argue with me about it. Staff is friendly but his bedside manners are TERRIBLE, his equipment is old and looks rusty and he talks down to you like your trash. Currently in search of a new dentist. Will never ever return, if you ever go in the evening he will rush your work so that he can get to the other office, which is what happened to me. read more

I've been going to Dr.Yuille for several years now but today I will look elsewhere. I had an appointment scheduled for his Randallstown office but the day before someone called to verify insurance. I explained to the male receptionist that a woman had verified my insurance earlier. He replied "well it didn't go through and she used the old insurance". I was perplexed at that point. Why would you wait a day before an appointment to tell a patient this. Then I called his Randallstown office to verify my insurance again and the receptionist stated that I must go the Catonsville office. I asked why. She replied, "I can't help it if the other girl made a mistake because you're not on this office list". No apology just a snarky attitude. I called back to get clarity from Dr. Yuille as he answered the phone because his "lovely" receptionist kept sending me to voicemail. Dr. Yuille then states that it was the insurance companies fault and that I should contact them. I asked why wouldn't his receptionist have mentioned this after verifying insurance. His response was that's in the past now. The poor customer service and his lack of accountability for his staff is atrocious. read more

It's bad enough having a dental emergency where your in pain and it's extremely difficult to find a dentist on a Sunday afternoon. It was only all too easy to schedule an appointment. But then, after sitting in the waiting room for almost an hour, we (my son & myself) were informed that a family emergency had called Dr. Yuille away from the office. We were invited to come back the very next day, where they could fit in BOTH our appointments. That was suprising until.... the next day we waited almost TWO HOURS in the waiting room realizing he had double-booked several appointments. We stayed because he was one of very few dentists in the area accepting our insurance last year. On top of the miserable wait, the experience did not get any better. The waiting room was dirty - the pictures faded, the walls discolored from items being left up for years, the furniture stained, etc. The exam rooms were also dirty. My son's room was relatively clean but the equipment in my room was scratched and rusty and I really feared the sanitation - if there was any. We were first time patients to this office and were not asked for previous Xrays and just told we would have to get Xrays. Dr. Yuille took the Xrays himself. (When we recently asked for these to be transferred to our new dentist, we were given the run around & it was finally disclosed that the quality was very poor so they weren't going to be much help to the new dentist & would only look bad for Dr. Yuille.) In addition, the Dr. was VERY rough in his exam, had no "bedside manner" appropriate for a 13 year old boy including not even telling him what he was doing next (leaving my son almost in tears because of the crude & abrupt mannerisms), rude in his criticism of my dental habits including telling me there was no way I was taking care of my teeth & gums (I'm fastidious about them and haven't missed a dental appointment ever 6 months in my entire adult life), etc. He came off like a pleasant enough guy until we opened our mouths to say anything; he did not like any question of his opinion, etc. A family member who was scheduled for an appointment the next week thought he was pleasant enough and thorough in his cleaning, but got the feeling he was just trying to scam as much money out of his practice as he could including noticing even more stains and odd scheduling, etc. Dr. Yuille has commemorations & nice citations on his walls, but they are dated. I am not sure if he ever was a decent dentist, though he certainly seems to have been a decent man in years past. Unfortunately for him (and for those who use his practice), things must not be going well and his awful setup & experience that he gives his patients that he shovels in leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. PLEASE look at other dentists before settling for Dr. Yuille. read more

Two further dentist appointments, two doctor visits and now another potential oral surgery over one tooth extraction? This clown should have his license yanked! While Dr. Yuille was nice and had a clean office in Catonsville, I will never be back and encourage everyone I know not to go here. I went to get a tooth extracted. He never told me what my insurance would and would not cover, I was never consulted on the procedure. He also did not tell me that they would not be putting anything in, but rather leaving a hole in my mouth. I was given no post care instruction and ended up getting dry sockets because of it. I have been in excruciating pain for a week and have to see a new dentist to see if he even did the procedure correctly. read more

This very pleasant gentlemen saved my day. I had an emergency/exposed nerve. Called every number I could find for 24 hr dentistry. I was contemplating going to Home Depot for vice grips to pull it, as the pain was so bad. Out of 5 numbers, Dentalinfo.net finally found Dr. Yuille. He has a normal practice but provides emergency dental care on weekends. He had me in the office within the hour! He is professional, old school, and efficient. I will be returning to him and not my dentist who saw me on SATURDAY and sent me away without pulling the tooth (told me to come back in two weeks). Immediate pain relief.
