I brought my 2011 G37X in simply to get a quote on replacing my hood latch since it wouldn't open. I just had my oil changed 5 days prior and there were no serious mechanical issues and I made that crystal clear to them. I worked with Clark and he is a total con artist along with the rest of the crew up to the supervisor. He ended quoting me $900 to replace the hood latch and I politely declined. He then said let me go talk to my manager and see what we can do. He calls me back hours later and says they'll do the hood latch for $600 but now they spotted a catastrophic anti-freeze leak and would repair it for $300, bringing my total back up to $900. Again , I declined because I knew I didn't have a radiator leak from my car inspection from the oil change just a few days ago. I told Clark there should be no leak and he said there absolutely is one. I knew they were full of it. I picked up my car the next day and low and behold, after 5 minutes of driving my car off the lot, it breaks down in 5 minutes while I'm driving 70MPH on I225 and had to pull over. I've owned this car for 10 years and it has never broken down on me once. I talked to both Clark and his supervisor and both denied any wrong doing and said it was my fault for not having the part repaired. These people absolutely sabotaged my car because I didn't wanna get ripped off and then let me drive off the lot knowing my car would break down and hoping I would have to spend lord knows what to get it fixed. I was finally able to get them to repair it for almost no charge because I threatened litigation on them. I knew they were in the wrong 100% I would highly stay away from these people, they need to be investigated for their shady ways. They also gave me an invoice saying it had the tow bill and it was an invoice for doing the work on my car which they said they wouldn't charge me for. I might take further action against these people but we'll see. Totally unacceptable and heinous.

Their technician said the fan needed replacing, then the advisor told me it was "road debris," that the wobble was normal, and that my car is just old. I asked to see the debris they claimed they removed. They refused, and later admitted they hadn't kept it. Here's the part that says it all: their own diagnostic log shows three stored fault codes, including a turbo underboost code, a nine minute session, and zero diagnostic tests actually performed. They cleared the codes and handed the car back with the real problem still active. An independent shop ran the correct test the next morning and found a broken intercooler hose in a few hours, and told me the car wasn't safe to drive. I have filed a formal complaint with Volkswagen of America. Three days here got me a wrong answer and a shrug. Do not trust a diagnosis from this shop without a second opinion.

They wrote into the sale of the vehicle that they would repair or replace the display if I still wanted to purchase the car. I absolutely 100% did - sold! Today a car audio specialist came to my house and removed the display for the repair or replacement (they came to me!). Erek and Sean followed through on their word to fix the malfunctioning display and I am absolutely in love with my new (used) car. Highly recommend this used car dealership. I was back and forth to the dealership multiple times, and while they did split the cost of a repair--which added another $1,200 to my purchase--the problem wasn't fixed. Now I'm being told the car likely needs a full transmission, so I have very little confidence that the original repair addressed the real issue. There were also other issues identified right after purchase that were not reflected in the inspection, as well as inaccuracies in the Carfax that raise questions about what was reported. What's most disappointing is that after all of this, they've stopped responding to my attempts to resolve it. I've been trying to handle this fairly and directly, and that effort hasn't been matched. This has been a really frustrating experience, and I would recommend getting an independent inspection and doing extra due diligence before purchasing a vehicle here.
