He provided a quote much higher than the estimate and when I question about it he got defensive and denied the original estimate. But I decided to use him anyway because I only needed to replace 2 doors so I didn't want to waste time going back and forth. Then, about a month ago, Eddie replaced my blue high-gloss kitchen door with a different door that does not match the rest of my kitchen doors. While the color is the same, the new door does not have the same thermofoil finish as the original. Instead, it appears to have simply been painted with blue high-gloss paint. There are also several other issues with the replacement door: -The inside of the original door was black, but the new door is white. -The original door had three hinges, but he installed only two. -The new door is loose and does not appear to be properly secured. I have asked Eddie to come back and fix the loose door, but he continues to make excuses, saying that he is not in the building. At this point, I am very disappointed with both the quality of the replacement door and the lack of follow-up service.

The difficulty of our space is there isn't a flat or straight wall in our 1929 apartment. These guys cut a piece of stone perfectly for us. From initial conversation to measurements to two installs within one week (first counter then the backsplash) these guys were easy to deal with.
