I recently visited Brunch Café for a relaxed brunch,on Newyearday and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. The café was quite busy when we arrived but we had reservations, so got the seating quickly to which clearly shows how popular this place is among locals. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt lively rather than overwhelming. For food, we ordered the Kaseria and a panini, and both dishes were really good. The kaseria was flavorful and well prepared, with a nice balance of ingredients that made it satisfying without being too heavy. The panini was equally enjoyable--crispy on the outside, fresh on the inside, and served hot, just the way it should be.The pancake was good The coffee deserves a special mention. It was rich, smooth, and complemented the brunch perfectly. Even with the café being busy, the service was efficient and the staff managed things well, keeping everything moving without long waits. Overall, Brunch Cafe is a great spot for a weekend brunch. Good food, quality coffee, and a lively atmosphere make it worth the visit. Way up northwest where the upper crust mingles, this place lurks just off the road. It was ger-jammed when we visited. Nothing earth-shattering, but solid cuisine. I had "Salmon Toast", which was basically Goyische Bagels & Lox; accompanied by a nice little salad wot I ordered with "French" dressing. Sweet but complimentary Go figure. Wife had Bacon and Eggs, with a side of FrenchToast. Both entreés fine, if unspectacular. The coffee WAS spectacular, however. Service was pro and friendly. I have been here several times for breakfast with a work group. It is always crowded, but we usually have a reservation since our party is over 10. The menu is extensive and they have something for everyone. The portions are massive and almost everyone took at least half of their order with them. Service is fast and efficient and even with a large party , our coffee cups were never empty. I am sure we will continue to make this our go to breakfast meeting place in the area. read more

Brunch Cafe was excellent from start to finish. We've never been and we felt like regulars dining there. The atmosphere is very bright and cherry. It was packed full of people, yet we had phenomenal and attentive service-- Stacy was amazing. She took the time to explain the (huge) menu and was very personable. The food was also very good. I had a Peppermint Iced Coffee which was good, if not a bit too bitter. Our entrees were delicious and came out very quickly. I got the South Beach Scrambler (which was great), and my Dad loved his Egg'ceptional (eggs, meat and choice of toast or pancakes). I'm sure we will be back when we are in the area! read more

Gave me a raw steak (ordered steak and eggs) , server agreed but the manager refused to take it off. Wasn't being mean, not trying to get free food I wanted to pay for everything aside from the steak. I work in the industry, I've made mistakes in a kitchen, ish happens. If this is management's attitude towards an empirically obvious mistake that everyone could see, then imagine how they handle the things no one sees. Rugs pretty lumpy, I'd imagine. Wanted to go out for breakfast after doing stuff for prom, the host that seated us didn't even talk to us while seating, and when we asked for a different table (by the way the place was empty) rudely sat us at the booth next to the bathrooms when there were other booths open, our server right away asked us for drinks giving us barely any time to think about the drink options. Our server barely came over to our table but when she did it felt rushed. We then ordered Buttermilk pancakes with strawberry's and the original waffle with strawberry's, came out with the syrup before even getting the food which then came cold when the food came out 10ish minutes after. When the food came out we asked for a side of bacon which took her 5 seconds to come out to give to us. The bacon was cold, the syrup was cold, and the orange juice we got was too pulpy. i am extremely disappointed in this experience today, when we just wanted to sit down and eat and talk. read more

I met some friends at Brunch Cafe for brunch on a Tuesday. I was surprised at how crowded it was for a weekday around noon. I was able to find a parking spot, but I had to park in the back where there were plenty of parking places. There is a sidewalk that will lead to the front door. We didn't have any trouble getting a table for four, but it was pretty full. I ordered the black and white Belgian waffle. This is a Belgian waffle with milk chocolate and white chocolate chips and syrup drizzled on top. The waffle was perfectly cooked and topped. I also had a side of pork sausage. The server checked on us many times and was pretty nice. We were able to chat and catch up in a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend Brunch Cafe, and I will be coming back in the future. read more

As first time guests @ this location -we usually enjoy Brunch Cafe in McHenry but accomodated long time out of state friends who recently moved to Cary- we appreciated our helpful and friendly young server last week, who made sure our coffee cups were filled. However, another waitress brought out an entirely incorrect order for us, then threw the kitchen workers under the bus for that mistake. When our breakfasts did finally come, they were stone cold-eggs, toast, etc. A while later, I was washing my hands in the ladies' restroom and, right in front of me, that same server was telling another waitress that the day was "a sh**show", which I thought was unprofessional in front of a guest, especially since the restaurant at that early time was not even crowded. read more

Delicious breakfast with a great wait staff. I was seated immediately. Ordered the Berry Explosion Waffle and a side of corn beef hash. The menu is loaded with crepes, pancakes, waffles and egg dishes. Lots of choices. The waffle was cooked perfectly. Nice and fluffy and crispy at the same time. Not thick like a Waffle House waffle. Sometimes restaurants skimp on the feta but there was plenty inside. Instead of the regular side of pancakes, I got a side of the carrot cake pancakes for an extra $1.50 - I'd HIGHLY recommend these.
