Most visits take far too long, especially if there is more than one customer. The employees act as though they believe that the customers have unlimited time so they will chit chat or lallygag. This is a service based business so there needs to be a balance between "friendliness" and timeliness. I realize it's not a fast food joint but no one wants to wait 10-15 minutes for a smoothie or to simply pay for stocked items. This is the reason I don't shop here frequently anymore.

My husband got a Hot Chai Latte and it was truly the perfect mix of sweet and spiced chai. Lastly, the value in their pricing for quality of drink is very impressive! Both of our drinks were just under $10 which feels very value driven. I would highly recommend stopping out for a morning coffee or trying out one of their evening cocktails!

The smoothies are obviously the main attraction and have always been consistently good, but their food is surprisingly solid too. Pair it with a smoothie and it makes for a pretty satisfying lunch without feeling like typical fast food. There's plenty of variety with the smoothies too, so while I have my favorites, I tend to bounce around the menu depending on what sounds good that day. Service is probably the weakest part of the experience, though I wouldn't call it bad. The staff tends to be more efficient than personable; you're not always getting the warmest interaction, but they work quickly enough and, most importantly, after plenty of visits they've been consistently accurate with my orders. The cafe itself is bright, casual, and generally clean, with a relaxed atmosphere that works whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down for a quick lunch. After this many visits, Tropical Smoothie has proven to be a reliable stop. Good smoothies, surprisingly solid food, quick service, and that Thai Chicken Wrap keeps me coming back. Ordering ahead doesn't make any sense if there isn't a separate line or place to pick up the order. I was in a car line of 10-15 cars and placing the order before I arrived didn't change that. I waited just as long as if I ordered in person. Either a park and pickup or a separate line for those that order ahead is needed to make this work. It's a flaw in the system. I emailed 7Brew immediately explaining what happened. They told me that I should try it right away next time and have it remade if it is wrong. That was the only solution they gave me. I asked for a refund, even a credit on the account on the app would have appeased me. Instead, they put the blame on me for not trying a hot drink the second I was handed it.
