I got the turkey panini with mayo, lettuce, tomato and cheese - it was delicious. I wished I got another panini because half of the panini was not enough for me. I love that this cafe gets all these items from Illinois. Alll of the breads are baked locally by TURANO BAKING COMPANY from Chicago and use locally grown produce by KLEIN'S FARM & GARDEN from Burlington and use local honey from SUNNY HILL FARMS from Harvard and jams from SOSINSKI PRODUCE from Antioch. read more

Super cute, bright, open, and yet still cozy coffee shop. I was visiting from out of town for an extended time and ended up going here multiple times a week. It was a great place to set up shop to get some work done and have local coffee/ food. I love supporting local shops who also support other local groups. The breakfast and lunch options were always great, the coffee was on point every time and the staff were friendly and always having a good time behind the counter. It was also a heartwarming sight to see that 75% of the staff and customers knew each other on a personal level. It ALMOST makes me miss living in the area. read more

Cesaroni's is a gem of a place. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty. They have all sorts of items to choose from, including coffee creations that I've heard are awesome. You go up to the counter and order your meal, then sit or stand and wait. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable. Because it's a small - medium sized place, if you go during busy times, seating could be limited. The staff are kind and courteous. It's on the pricy side, but the bread and ingredients are top quality. Great place with great people working there. They do have a table w/ 2 chairs outside, too. Was passing thru Woodstock and stopped at this deli at lunch hr. Nice location. They are reasonably priced. We got the Farmer Jack sub, which became the favorite, we also got the Dom sub and a cup of the soup of the week which was the clamp chowder. The soup came with oyster crackers and was delicious. For a delicious, slightly overpriced, 6" Sub Sandwich, in a quaint indie lunch café where you can sit with your laptop for hours unbothered, this may be the perfect place for you. The service is good. The bathrooms are clean. And the many corner windows let in lots of light. Most of the tables here are just for two. But that's okay, because most of the people eating here are 1 + texting. Chips come with your sandwich. Drinks are extra. Cesaroni's is just 1/2 block from the movie theater, and one full block from the Woodstock Village Square, which is delightful. BTW: this is where the movie "Groundhog Day" was filmed. I have eaten at Cesaroni's four times, and the experience was always great. And luckily, at nearly $14 for a sub, it's actually big enough for two. read more

This cafe is amazing, my wife and I had the best sub I've ever had, seriously, ever -- it's called "The Don," essentially an Italian sub. The meats, veggies and cheese and peppers and the bread is a definite wow! It comes with kettle chips and a pickle too. Several customers purchased coffee drinks, lattes and what not. which had an equally excellent look and smell to them. Excellent rustic look with the brick walls and tiles. Breakfast and lunch only at this casual relaxing cafe. Cesaroni's Cafe And Deli is one of the few good places around open early mornings. It has a menu of things such as coffee, avocado toast, and salads. Has good prices on most things, even though portions can be small but it's always fresh. The worst thing about it is that is closes after lunch. Came in at lunch for some coffee and light easy eating. It isn't a big place, having only a few tables inside. This can seem busy even when there's not a whole lot of customers, especially when waiting in line. Has a breakfast and lunch menu, with basic items. They make these with pretty fresh ingredients and it's not all prepackaged stuff. It was warm so I got a Cold Brew. It's $3.25 for a medium. This had full bodied flavor and wasn't watery. I had a Klein's Salad, because it was one of the few vegan items. It's $6 for the half portion. This has croutons, cucumbers, sunflower seeds, and tomatoes. Good crunch. This was a healthy meal. Has a lot of healthy items to choose from. It's open only for breakfast and lunch. The next time here I need to come earlier to get the Avocado Toast because it looks real tasty. read more

The staff here are always so friendly and warm. The shop is a cute little corner spot near the adorable historic Woodstock square with cozy seating. Love their sandwiches! I always get the same veggie one because it's loaded with Muenster and avocado (and their bread is fantastic). Also, all sandwiches come with a pickle and chips! Great little cafe, one block off the Woodstock Square on Main Street. Josey, my coffee engineer made a Cortado (not on the menu) with precision, based on my instruction. Note to the boss. Put it on the menu! It's a Spanish drink. Equal parts espresso and warm milk, gently blended. No foam. We shared the BLT, on lightly toasted Italian Turano bread, and a crispy pickle. And the #5 Veggie breakfast sandwich: egg, spinach, tomato avocado, onion, and Vermont cheddar on an English muffin. Excellent preparations. All fresh! The atmosphere is bright, clean, inviting. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers I found this cozy deli just feet away from my Airbnb apartment. The open space was friendly and inviting. Customer service was outstanding! The panini lit up my palate with the right layers of flavor and texture. The mango strawberry smoothie was one of the best I'd had in a long time. I ordered before my coworker, we both ordered paninis, he was done eating his food before mine came out. I ended up having to take it to go since we were on our lunch hour. If this was the only time that this happened, I would have written it up as bad luck on my part, but this has happened on multiple occasions. FIFO people, first in first out! It seems like they favor to go orders ahead of customers who want to eat there. Great food, but I will think hard about going there again. read more

The experience was horrible! I repeat again experience was horrible! Not only was there a huge line but no one communicated with each other. My meal took 20 mins to make, and yet my drink was never made I spent $5 dollars on a drink that never made or communicated to make it. The panini & the Italian wedding with meatballs soup was horrible. No flavor whatsoever! The avocado chicken sandwich they used these brown and gross looking avocados! The ambience wasn't the greatest I saw one of the workers make a nasty comment to the one of the workers working cashier! I think that person wanted to cry! Please do better! This is my absolute favorite sandwich place ever. High quality food and just downright delicious! My only complaint is that my online orders are frequently incorrect; most recently, I ordered my usual sandwich with no lettuce, add avocado. Got home to find it covered in shredded lettuce and wound up having to scrape off all of the avocado that I'd paid extra for in order to remove the lettuce I specifically asked for them to leave off. The sandwich also had no onion as it was supposed to. It's not uncommon for them to not honor my "no pickle" request, either but thankfully that's just a spear rolled in the wrap and easy to remove without tainting the sandwich. If their staff could adequately follow the online orders, I'd give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. It's not a cheap place, and I always tip 20% on top of the menu prices... frustrating to get home and have it be wrong (today's order was $40 for two sandwiches and two sodas with a tip). GREAT food - just make sure to check your order before leaving. Lesson learned the hard way. read more

There are a few places in Chicagoland that I like subs from and I go often. However, this was my first time at Cesaroni's and it was the best sub I've ever had. The bread was amazing with a perfect crunch. The meat was the freshest ingredients I've ever had. I ordered the #2 Home Town Hero and absolutely loved it! I love how they use local produce and baked goods on their menu. The English muffin with the breakfast sandwich was amazing. I ventured to Cesaroni's for a lunchtime meal on a weekend with my friend who lives in Woodstock, and really enjoyed my meal there. It was bustling on a Saturday around lunchtime with many people in line when we arrived. However, the staff was friendly and efficient- clearly well trained- and they were able to get orders out quickly. I ordered one of their classic subs and it was delicious- the meal came with a canned beverage and a bag of chips. I thought the restaurant space itself was very cute, the prices were solid, and the food delicious. I like this place. It's a nice spot just off of the Woodstock square and is owned by two brothers-- it's a good cup of coffee and sandwich and I think it's a nice addition to the area.
