Driving by it looks like nothing, inside is a large seating area, a bar area and then doors to go to the outside where on the weekends at least there's live music. I took a step outside to get a picture of the pizza oven, what a beauty! I did not know it was the owner, but I asked the guy if I could grab a picture of it and in an Italian accent, he said get a picture from over here you can see inside. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly and fast, And she had some large tables. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I asked the waitress while looking at the menu, I saw that they said some homemade pasta. She told me that they make all their pastas, breads, sauces, and pizza dough on site. We will have to come back and try some other meals, but the wood fired pizza was phenomenal. I had seen this place on the socials, and one time working my way back home when the expressway was shut down...I drove by it, and would've never noticed it if I hadn't known the name. The place is definitely doing the business, but you need to go. It is a hidden gem. One of the better pizzas in the drivable area for sure! The owners are from Italy, need I say anymore. Oh, I almost forgot that they have a nice selection of beers on draft. Seriously, reef donkey for five dollars. It only made the pizza that much better! And the sidenote when you get mushrooms on your pizza, you get a mixture of delicious mushrooms, all fresh, even shiitakes. The red peppers are freshly cut, and the onions are sautéed, which just adds another layer of flavor. And definitely when we go back I am getting some meatball sliders, cause we got meatballs on the one pizza and they were so delicious, just a tender flavorful hold together meatball but not dense! It was a little crowded though. I could've squeezed in. I chose a table though. My sever was very good. She brought the specials to my attention. She was attentive, thoughtful and professional. And she was nice. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. It wasn't perfect though. There was some confusion on my order. Another staff member brought a couple of things to my table. An appetizer and a salad. The app wasn't mine. I don't think the salad was either, but she insisted it was my salad. I don't think it was, but it was fine. Also, there were a couple of other little things. Like I was given olive oil with my bread but no butter. It wasn't that big of a deal, and I didn't mention it. They have a system. One person seats you. Another person takes your order, but a number of people come to your table. This is all normal stuff. And it was Saturday night. A few hiccups can be expected. But in addition, I noticed a few goings on at other tables. Servers socializing with customers who are friends and such. Not a big deal, unless there are oversights. On Tuesday's and Friday's they sell a "Sausage Bullet Special" which is a sausage topped with peppers and onions as well as keilbasa sausages. It is next to Hungry Howie's in a strip mall on 52 not far from 19 just east of the Firestone Oil change place. There is no seating. It's for takeout or take home. Offerings include chivalade sausage and Thumann's deli meats. They have some lunch offerings but mostly sell meat and sausages by the pound. A gluten free bakery is next door and the Bagel's Galore bagel shop is at the other end in the next set of shops.
