My friend took me to Mamma Mia's for lunch today. I almost refused because I had 3 horrible experiences with them years ago. I decided to give them one more chance. I'm glad I did. It must be under newer management because I found the store to be very clean. We were greeted then sat where we wanted. There was only one waitress. She took our orders and disappeared. There was another couple on one side and a lone officer in the corner. (I paid for his lunch) It took a bit of time for our food to come out but it was nice and hot. We were given garlic knots that were so addictive I couldn't stop eating them! They were the best I've ever had! By this time there were 5 full tables filled with people. Our waitress didn't check on us or offer refills. The food was good, the ice tea was nasty but the lemonade was good. The cannoli was very tasty. The brownie was over cooked, dry and hard to swallow. With no drink refills offered and not seeing our waitress for looooong periods of time, I had to endure it. We finally paid then continued to sit and talk we weren't even offered water! Plenty of parking, a couple handicapped parking spots up front and bathroom. Bottom line, the food was good, slow service, reasonable price for the food we received. Will I go back? Maybe. Do I recommend Mamma Mia? Yes. Great for kids, pets allowed. read more

Came here with a large group after a friend gave his first talk on a Sunday. We contacted the restaurant on a Friday and notified them of the size of a group we would have. They were more the. Willing to accommodate. On Saturday we came by to let them know the more round about number. On Sunday we ended up having a group of 34 people for lunch. The room was set up for and the server Kelly was ready. She started by getting drink orders. After drinks she got the food orders for all of us. She was amazing. Everything went seamless, between the pizza, knots, appetizers etc. The server and the kitchen team were all on point. The team's attitudes were amazing, even with a little bit of added stress for added size of the party this went smoother than I have had at some resteraunts with just my husband and I. I ordered pizza with ham and got a pizza with chunks of tomatoes and no ham and also paid extra for extra sauce and barely had any. The crust was completely a mess. Inedible. Very disappointed. Clearly got the wrong pizza. read more

Insanely ... average. I stopped in for lunch slices and received 2 hot, average slices of pizza. I can't say anything good or bad about them. If you're hungry and in need of sustenance at lunch this will suffice for 7.45 with a soda can. Service was a little slow. Waited 15 min for 2 reheated slices. On a positive note the restaurant is nice! Looks like a great place to eat average pizza. read more

Made a small order of 2 pizzas and garlic knots 3 days in advance for tonight. I told them I understand that it is a Friday night and Halloween so I ordered exactly 3 days in advance to make sure it was ready for 5pm. I called at 4:30 to make sure it would be ready at 5 for pickup and was told it would. The staff was quite rude and then hung up. I then was able to pickup my order at almost 5:30 after waiting almost 30 minutes in store. Did not appreciate their attitude at all after I explained that I was having family over and purposely made my order and paid in advance. read more

We were pleasantly surprised. We didn't know what to expect because it was a last minute decision to get pizza. No one else was open. We got it delivered and the driver was so nice. Just finished eating here. Was a bit skeptical at first because of their 3 1/2 star review, but wanted to try and give my own opinion. I ordered the Italian sub and was kind of thrown off by how little meat was actually on it, so a lot of breading. Had a small salad, which was fine but their ranch dressing is horrible, when the server told me that it was really good. Obviously, that's a matter of opinion. Restaurant itself is pretty cool inside. They need to change the time on the door because it says that it's open at 12 AM to 9 PM on Sundays, and the exit door, which is clearly marked "Exit only" is locked, and there's not even a note on it to that says not to use. I'll come back and try the pizza next time, but won't have the sub again. read more

This place wasn't that good. There was no music, just bluey ( kid show) playing in the corner near the exit. My mom ordered lasagna and it looked throw up. I ordered spaghetti & meatballs which was decent but not great. If u eat here I would say go for the pizza because that's the only thing that's not bad at this restaurant. Our server seemed like she had better things to do and didn't show much care at all. Ur better driving an extra ten minutes to the McDonalds on US 19. read more

Looked for a nice place to meet friends for dinner. This place was central for us. Walked in and was followed by a group, 6-7, teens. They took over the place and even started a fight in the corner. This must be a regular thing because the server just ignored their behavior. Food was okay. Would I go back, probably not. read more

We've been picking up pizzas since this location opened. Normally we have been very satisfied, until today. My wife called to order a pizza for me to pick up. The woman she talked to, kept asking irrelevant questions about where we lived & then told us we should go to the New Port Richey location. (The New Port Richey location is at least twice as far from us as is the Hudson location.) Finally my wife had to insist on the woman taking our order. To top it all off, when I got the pizza home, it was NOT what we ordered. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence. There are MANY other places to get good pizza. read more

Quality of food and service has definitely gone down since the owner is not on site much and you have kids running the show. Numerous times food was either over cooked or totally undercooked for example the chicken roll we ordered about 1 month ago was almost raw and inedible so we wound up throwing it away. Was here a few weeks ago. Ordered the garlic slice, and it Was maybe an hour to closing. I order, pay, and I'm the only person waiting for a slice. About 20 minutes go by and I see the girl in front go to the back, and say "that wasn't what he ordered" and then the pizza boy says "shit". I'm thinking maybe another 10 minutes for the correct slice. After about 10 minutes (which now makes it 30 mins total) I ask what's going on, the front girl says my slice is "special made" so it takes longer. Fast forward another 15 minutes, (now 45 minutes total) I get a greasy soggy slice. Received a delivery sub order that was made incorrectly 3 times and was promised a store credit that they later declined to render. A restaurant can offer the best of food in the world, but to not treat costumers fairly nor value their patronage may as well serve dog food. Grossly disappointed in this restaurant in every way, not only are the subs and pizzas mediocre at best: but their lack of concern for their customers satisfaction is deplorable. I received my first order which was two large pizzas. When they got here they were cold and burnt call. The next day lady was very cordial. Told me they would make it right called and ordered my two pizzas.
