When I first met Eldridge and his dad, they struck me as low-key (which they are) and I, therefore, assumed they'd be slow to get things done. My bad. They installed security cameras for my house, moved a high-def TV to a new location and configured it, installed a new 4K Curved Samsung TV, and updated my Harmony remotes. Eldridge (the younger Bruno) is a thoughtful, resourceful, determined, industrious problem solver. He's also super-efficient in a low-key way, as in "you see the duck moving quickly through the water because you can't see its feet furiously paddling below the surface." Also important: they are unflappably courteous. I asked them if the security camera recorder could be moved, and they did it without missing a beat even though it meant they had to redo some tricky work that they had just painstakingly finished. Most service folks would at least balk, and many would grimace or signal displeasure. I asked Eldridge a lot of questions about technology while he was working (they had to do the work in two different sessions). He clearly strives to know as much as possible about all different types of technology, and he's super efficient at taking digital notes on his smartphone, which is one sign of his supreme organizational skills. The Brunos are great people who do exceptional work and are a joy to have around. Their fee was shockingly reasonable (given how much they did, and how efficiently and well they did it). They showed up on time and worked hard every minute they were in my house. In short, they went the extra mile at every stage. I not only heartily recommend them, but I'm also going to reuse them myself soon because I trust them to help me sort out any tech issue that I have in my house from here on out. I had a hard wired security camera that couldn't decide whether it was going to send a feed to the NVR or not. Based on Yelp reviews, I made an appointment with Eldridge to come to the house and troubleshoot the camera problem. He arrived within the timeframe promised and patiently listened to me describe the symptoms of the problem. After about 15 minutes he found what was causing the problem. The camera was working great but the cable had been nicked (probably during the original installation) and was now causing a short in the line. He ran a new wire and everything is still working great a week later. After the work was done, Eldridge took the time to show my wife how she could use more of the options on the security camera phone app. I talked with him about some of the new wireless camera options out on the market and plan to have him install several, once I decide on which ones I want. read more

I recently moved to New Orleans and bought on older condo on St. Charles Avenue. I purchased two Raku Smart TV's and was not confident enough to install/wall mount them myself, OR get them online and working properly. So I found Bruno's a/v by Google. This is the BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT. Wow...what a fantastic job they did!! They followed up with me on the voice mail message I left them and asked all about my needs. They also were extremely professional and kindly worked with me on my ever changing move in schedule. When it came time for them to come and do the work, I could not have been more impressed. They showed up promptly and were as nice as they could be. The building had older wiring issues that Cox cable had issues working they, but not Bruno's!! They sailed thru the installation of both new Raku's TV's with absolute ease . I am not the most technical person and had not ever had a smart TV before. They walked me thru each step and did not make me feel stupid AT ALL. They helped me set up my Raku accounts and select the channels. They also made everything work off one remote control instead of the three that Cox had left me with !! This father/son pair provided exceptional service. They set up my 70" Vizio atop my fireplace quickly and without a hitch. Eldridge Jr toned out the wires of my pre-wired surround system and connected my receiver, tested out the speakers in both zones. He went out of his way to ensure certain defects in the pre-wired system were corrected. All this for a very reasonable cost - way lower than Amazon, Best Buy or even Costco. Both my wife and I were very pleased with the work done by Bruno Audio and Video. We had just moved from Texas and wanted to redo all our TV setups along with outfitting a new Media Room. We approach them with our needs and they gave us their expert advice and along with steering us in the right direction. Their demo showed us that there was a medium price option on the Media room speakers that allowed us to re-budget to obtain a much higher end projection screen system. They accomplished the installation in a short time and made sure that they left the rooms better than when they arrived. We are very happy with all of the video equipment they provided and they also were very willing to install equipment that I purchased on my own. I found their installation prices to be very reasonable if not on the low side for a comparable type service. Fast service. Called and Eldridge was there the next day. The job was probably a little more complicated than he thought and took him about 3 hours to sort it all out. (Some input function changes on my surround sound and reprogramming remote) he was professional got everything working perfectly. He quoted me the standard price to reprogram a remote and said the rest depended on how long it took and what he had to do. Since he was there for over 3 hours I was worried I was about to get slammed with a high price. All in it was only $40 more than the original price he quoted. No complaints at all here.
