Dr. Viechnicki is has probably the greatest bed side manner of any doctor I've ever met in my entire life hands down! I'm not sure how he always manages to be so unimaginably calm and gentle and reassuring, but he never fails. He explains all the procedures in detail at every visit and is more than happy to answer any questions. My son absolutely adores him and appreciates the fact that he always tells him what's going on during the adjustments and prepares him when he might do something that might hurt. Kayleigh at the front desk is incredible as well and worked extra hard to make sure I am getting the most from my insurance. She is always friendly and helpful and was incredibly accommodating the one time I needed to come in for an unscheduled appointment to fix a brace that had come loose. There are also fun little touches that the staff does like "coins" earned for each appointment, "guess the # of candy" contests and meticulously writing up each kid's name on the front board during their birthday month. I've take both my kids to Smilelogic (My first son was thrilled with how his teeth turned out) and I've never had a bad visit. I couldn't recommend them any more highly :)

When I was growing up and hoping for children one day, I always knew that I would never have kids who needed braces! Silly me. Both of my girls ended up needing braces and thankfully my path crossed with Dr. Richmond when our kids were in 3rd grade together. My 16 year old has had hers braces on for one year and her teeth look wonderful. It took much less time than the orthodontist thought. On July 3, my 12 year old got hers on. In the past year I have never been let down by the staff. The doctor has always been on time and never once canceled an appointment on me. The staff is friendly and professional and make our trip there a snap. Our adjustments usually take no more than 10 minutes. Dr. Richmond is so out going and interested in all her little patients. I did not have a pcd chosen because my last dental experience was horrible and I basically have been neglecting my teeth since that visit two years ago. I'm so happy that I choose Brighter Dental. My visit on Monday was quick and to the point. I did not wait long to be seen after arriving. My xray technician was so professional and pleasant. I believe her name is Camille. She was patient and I could tell that she wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Lyons looked at my teeth and gave some recommendations. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for an extraction 2 days later. I was so nervous leading up to the procedure. I've had 3 prior extraction experiences. The two where I was awake were super painful and I was expecting it to be the same way. I was completely wrong. Dr. James Kang is the GOAT!!!. I felt nothing. He said my roots were very deep but again zero pain!! He has great bedside manners and I felt very at ease and comfortable during the entire procedure. Don't agree to anything, call you insurance to check if what they say is indeed covered. They are…read moreout of network, so bill may be well above than what they tell you. Details: Was client for many years, service was all right and they were in the insurance network. This year I was recommended to do a procedure that was promised by Dr. Ma to be covered by the insurance 100%. When asked the from desk multiple times about insurance coverage I received same answer, insurance coverage 100%. They even printed a treatment plan that was showing zero out of pocket. Soon after a bill for $500+ arrived. Prime Dental Care said "We are sorry, insurance charged and you signed the papers." Of course insurance charged, because they are out of network now. They didn't even bother to check when printing their treatment plan and kept saying "zero out of pocket." This is indeed shady billing practice.

My HMO only covers two cleanings a year so I was well aware that when I went for the third cleaning I will only pay $169. Lo and behold at checkout I was asked to pay $377! The extra charge was for pictures taken after the cleaning. I was not informed that those pictures will cost me and that they are not covered by my insurance. Before I left I was asked if I want to schedule a fourth cleaning for the year, that is after three months. I told the lady to just move the cleaning to next year as I suspect they will find a way to charge me more than just for the actual cleaning. I left the clinic feeling like I was robbed! So if you plan to go to this clinic be aware that this can happen to you. I've been a patient for more than a year now but I was caught off guard.
