The burger with bacon, cilantro crema, avocado, grilled onions & sweet potato fries. YUM!

Pretty sure we can say this is still the BEST BURGER IN TOWN! We all got different ones and they were amazing! Perfectly cooked & juicy with all the toppings! Service was great too, at lunch time on a Tuesday, there may have been one server/bartender but she nailed it! I shall return.

We arrived in Eagle after a bumpy flight and no food so we were hungry and this is a bit of a food desert. Brush Creek came up as a good place for a burger so off we went. Make no mistake. This is a dive bar. Nothing wrong with a dive bar but you need to be aware before you visit. This is not some G Wagon haven like many restaurants in CO. I can fit in nearly anywhere and even I felt a little out of place. The locals only vibe was strong but we felt no animosity from said locals. In fact, the service was pretty friendly albeit a little slow. The burger was solid. I love a good burger and theirs would qualify. The fries were decent but nothing special. Hand cut fries would've been an improvement. But the burger seemed hand formed and was cooked and seasoned perfectly. If you land at Eagle and want a burger, make sure to add Brush Creek to your list.

Great local bar and restaurant. Stellar hamburger menu. The chef did right on cook to order and he got the medium rare right. Nice selection of tap beers. Great local atmosphere.

Stopped in on our way to Moab. Such a great place! There are several tables to sit at ... high tops all have dividers between tables .... makes for easier conversation :-) The bar is great and the place has a cowboy/country feel and look. It's warm and comfortable. We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and the Rueben sandwich. The wrap was just the right spice was and had a salad mix with dressing that was a perfect compliment to the buffalo flavor. Tortilla was soft and warm. The Rueben was also very good. Served with fries . There are a couple other sides to choose from as well. They had several good sounding appetizers, burgers, salads and a large selection of Poutine. Typical sodas, tea, full bar and tasty beers. Stop in if you're in town.... Or driving by

My husband and I were just in town for the day before an early morning flight from Eagle home to Florida. I found this place on Yelp and it was an easy 15 minute walk from our hotel on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The small downtown we walked through was very quiet, but when we opened the door to Brush Creek Saloon, we felt like we found the whole town! The place was packed on a Saturday around noon, but we managed to snag two seats at the bar. We saw that many people had ordered the Bloody Mary so we got the same thing and were NOT disappointed! The bartender even brought me a whiskey glass filled with all their pickled garnishes- yum. To eat, my husband and I split the fiery poutine and chorizo breakfast burrito, which was MORE than enough for us to share. The pork green chili that smothered the burrito was so flavorful, and the perfect sauce to swish the home fries around in. I want to make sure I shout out the service there. There were 3 employees taking care of 60+ customers, bar and tables combined. Not an easy feat! Our main bartender (Kimberly?) was friendly and prompt. She made us feel so welcome and relaxed as tourists, in a place that was filled with locals.

    Fire Truck Burger. Perfect.

It's definitely a place that we'll come back to. They have a bunch of excellent beers and there is a food truck in the back that serves delicious wood fired thin crust pizza and other "gourmet street food" according to the writing on their truck. We had two of their large pies and an order of Wisconsin cheese curds. Between the four of us, I think we are all but one slice. As for the beer, I think we had at least 6 different beers. They have a great selection of pilsners and lagers that are around 5-6% abv, which is good since we had to drive. They also have a couple coolers with soft drinks for kiddos, DDs and those that don't drink beer. They also had a couple of hard seltzers available. All of the beers we tasted were great. I'd recommend getting a flight of 4 if you want to try a few different kinds. My favorite is probably theirr Free Stone lager. The space is pretty unique. All parking is in the back in a crushed stone parking lot. There is a deck off the front and the back. I think most of the action is either inside or on the back seating area. There was a gigantic TV inside where there was a football game showing, but we stayed mostly on the deck outside except for coming into get more beer and use the restrooms. There were three restrooms, M, W and either. Lots of high top tables inside and a handful of rocking chairs on the back deck. Be sure to bring a jacket or other layers because as soon as the sun goes down, we'll, it's Colorado so you should know. The temps dropped pretty quickly. It's a great place to bring well behaved dogs and meet up with friends for good food and drinks. We're adding it to our down valley rotation.
