My husband and I aren't huge wine drinkers but we liked the Riesling and vino rosso. The vino bianco was light and our group agreed it tasted like lychee a bit - in a good way! The cab franc had a fair amount of tannins and I could feel it in my cheeks. The service was great too - the man behind the counter was friendly and shared the tasting notes of all the wines when it was served. The interior of the building is super cozy (there was an electric fireplace going which was perfect), and I loved all the plants and decorations. In the summer, the outside area I imagine is very nice to sit at. Our friends ended up grabbing a bottle of red to bring home and age for a few years.

His wife came out to ask us about tastings , which they do for free! All 12 on the list. The reds were better, I'm just not a white drinker. The whites I was told were sweeter. Pretty good pours too! Great to try so many. The Syrah was my favorite. The price of the bottle was only $21. I got a glass as she gave me so many tastings. We bought a bottle too. They also give you little snack bags which was a nice gesture, little crackers. Inside they had some little gifts things, cute stuff. Loved how clean it was and they were so organized and quick , better service than a lot of bigger wineries I've been to .Sometimes the smaller the better!!

The wines were not all my taste, but I loved the overall experience. A great one to try if you are in town. We also browsed in the cute gift shop that has a cute selection from around the world, mostly but not all related to wines and wine-making. For any RVers out there, The Winery participates in Harvest Hosts, through reservations only. There are two flat RV sites that are sufficiently far from traffic noise, and with walking paths to stretch your legs after driving all day.

The endearing personalized wine glasses hung on the wall, each with the "nickname" of its patron took this place to a new level for me. We got to witness a local couple come in for a sip. The owner grabbed their wine glasses and was ready to pour their choice before they barely got through the door. The wine selection had something for any wine lovers passion. I am partial to a sweet wine and enjoyed quite a few of their offerings. We got a charcuterie board to munch on with our wine tasting and it was plentiful and filling. The owner is very personable and knows his stuff. Will be making this winery a regular stop when I come to Colorado to visit family.

We did a tasting and loved the woman who served, she was knowledgeable and friendly. The space is nice and open. A big bar to sit at or a few couches and tables too. Now, word to the wise, a friend of mine and I came here after a hike - the BEST time to stop into any winery :) - It was Sunday around 1pm and every table outside was completely booked and we had two dogs with us, so we had to sit outside. We were almost out of luck, but thankfully one reservation did not show, so after a short wait, they seated us right by the stage. All of the staff were friendly and helped us get settled in, even offering a dog water bowl and little dog yoga mats so they would be comfy on the gravel. We ordered a flight - 6 tastes for $15, highly recommend and we treated ourselves to a post-hike baked brie that was perfect. We found out that if you order three bottles of wine to take home your tasting is free, so naturally... :) I will call ahead and make a reservation next time so we can be seated right by the river. Aspen Peak has such a lovely chill vibe and delicious reds whites and rosés!
