I highly recommend Brushcapades for your next corporate event or party. Brushcapades did a great job hosting our virtual corporate event for 15 people during COVID. The planning process was very smooth and easy, and Anji was great to work with and very accommodating. The paint kits were mailed out in advance, and my coworkers were pleasantly surprised when they opened their kits which included everything you needed for the event (brushes, palette, paints, 3-canvases, and a mini easel). When one my co-wouldn't locate their paint kit at their apartment complex, Anji was willing to rush ship another one out (thankfully, the mailroom had it the entire time). During the event, Anji was a great instructor and guided us through a project/painting. My coworkers had so much fun, they got really creative, and everyone was so engaged! We attended the Paint Your Pet session; this class was a blast! Anjl was so fun to learn from and had us laughing the whole time. She really encouraged us to be as creative as we wanted and shared helpful techniques in ways that made it easy to try for a beginner. I never felt like I was "doing it wrong". Anjl gave us as much (or little) structure as we wanted; every student had different skill levels and some wanted more help than others - Anjl did an excellent job navigating the room. In the end, we all had some really good laughs and walked away with a pretty cool (and unique) painting. I also appreciated the smaller class size (I believe there were 8-10 of us). This made it a lot easier to ask questions, move around when needed, and connect with some creativity (and other fun folks in the room). I HIGHLY recommend BrushCapades! read more

I had a FAB time at Anji's class last week. She is a great artist and instructor, and her assistant was great too. What I loved: -The painting I came home with is actually displayed on my book shelf. Facing out. -The wine kept flowing -Our water was kept clean -Super cute t shit aprons- mine read: I like girls who like girls. -We were not rushed- all of a sudden it was 3 1/2 hours later. Time flew! The only bump was that when I arrived at the building I couldn't get in because it was locked, and I had no number to call. Eventually someone coming out of the building let me in, but it would have been helpful if someone was standing guard. Perhaps I missed the memo about how to get in- I had such a great time that I have already signed up for another class and am bringing girlfriends with me this time. read more

This was absolutely awesome. Anji is delightful, helpful, knowledgable, encouraging - really everything you want in a teacher who is also fun. She helped everyone work through any issues with their paintings, and I think everyone left feeling a little bit like an artist. I was there well past the end time and she was super sweet about it, told us we could stay as long as you want. Also, my painting needed to dry and I needed to finish one last thing so she said I could leave it and return at any point. This couldn't have been more fun! We did this for a team building activity with 25 people and it was a blast. Angl was willing to come to our site and host the activity. The canvas is good size (not too small) which makes it easier to paint and it is perfect to hang on the wall. Angl is funny and helpful. I'm one of those people who never makes the picture of the night and always branches off on my own. Most places are fine with that but you really are on-your-own. They won't help. Anjl supported the whole class and still found time to help me bring my vision to light. She is fun, helpful, silly, thoughtful and knows her craft. Had a wonderful time at BrushCapades celebrating my birthday with friends a few weeks ago. We used the Groupon deal, which was great. All we had to do ahead of time was reserve our spots! The instructor was very friendly, helpful and encouraging, and I found her step-by-step guide to the painting process easy to understand. Our paintings all turned out really well! The studio was clean, brightly lit, and easily accessible. We even parked for free right outside. Only red wine was served the night we were there, so if you have a different beverage of choice, consider bringing it with you. We also brought some extra snacks, though veggie chips were provided. Anjl was sooo awesome!! We painted the Seattle Skyline at night and omg, best experience. Went as a couple for my birthday. It was both of our first time doing a Paint and Sip. The BYOB/SNACKS idea is brilliant. We brang a bottle of D'Usse and plenty of snacks that we barely ate because we both were so focused lol. I was able to slip/sneak Anjl a drink for her hardwork , and she actually enjoyed that :) . I had so much fun, but I think my boyfriend enjoyed it more than I did; which was surprising because he was opposed to the whole idea at first. Anjl was so helpful to the both of us, she kept answering our (his) frequent questions, the pace she taught was perfect, and the supplies/materials were always being either replenished or replaced. I forgot the guy's name who assisted her in getting us more water, paint, brushes etc. But even he was friendly and chopped it up with us for a minute. This was my first experience with this kind of painting. It was a blast! Anji said she would then be my favorite teacher and she was right! She is a very funny, laid-back gal that wants people's own personality to come out in their creation. The students were from all different backgrounds and all ages-looking for something fun to do on a Friday night. We certainly found it. The studio was great. She had everything all ready-canvas on an easel, brushes, towel, water. All we had to do was get a glass of wine and find a seat. The address is in Pioneer Square, there was a sign on the sidewalk where we could enter. The door was locked, but we called the phone number on the sign and she was right there to let us in. I felt like we all got plenty of time with the instructor, and Angel was so great! She is hilarious too, she definitely made the class really fun. I recently participated in BrushCaapdes Seattle's painting class! I am not a painter, so I knew this was going to be a challenge for me. However, after a few glasses of wine and some seriously delicious BRUSCHETTA I felt like I could do it. Our instructor Anjl surprised me and broke down the painting process into small, manageable pieces. She offered clear group instruction, but also came around to answer individual questions. She even named a brush technique after me! I was amazed with how everyone's paintings turned out! I didn't know most of the people there, but the atmosphere was encouraging and fun -- we were all brought together by a common task: trying to paint the Pike Place Market! I am going to be back to BrushCapades Seattle with my bridesmaids next year for a pre-wedding activity. Anjl even said she could custom design what we paint together! Can't recommend this enough. I've been to other painting and wine events and this one stood out because our awesome teacher, the yummy local food, and the great atmosphere! read more

Five of us did this as a group. There were a total of about 20 people and it was wonderful! I've done a few different "Paint - Night" type things and this was by far my favorite.
