    Strawberries
    Margot C.

I came here with my parents the other day to do some strawberry picking while they were visiting. We all had a great time and got some delicious strawberries! The parking lot for pickers is just north of the address on Yelp but they had plenty of signs that made it easy to find. You have to go down a gravel road to get there so keep that in mind if you don't want your car getting dirty. They had quite a few rows of strawberries for picking, and had 4 different varieties available. We also saw some apple trees where the apples were growing for picking in the fall and some peach trees. They also have veggies to pick but we didn't walk that far back. A lot of the strawberry plants had been pretty picked over but still had plenty of fruit if you pulled up the leaves and looked. We ended up picking about 3 lbs of fruit to take home. The fields are super dusty so make sure to wear sneakers you don't care about because they will get covered in dirt. We enjoyed a relaxing time picking berries and enjoying the beautiful views. I will definitely be back with my husband and daughter to enjoy picking some more fruit.

As soon as we turned onto the dirt path, a breeze rolled through the front strawberry field and swept into the car. The scent hit us--warm, sweet, and sun-soaked and in that instant, we knew we were exactly where we were meant to be. No one can convince me there's a better smell on this planet than fresh strawberries in the summer breeze. Not rain, not bread, not even raspberries--though those came in close second. Bailey's Farm is a dream. My mom and I spent the afternoon picking strawberries and raspberries together, surrounded by blooming fields and buzzing bees. The strawberries were bright red, perfectly ripe, and so fragrant it felt like walking through a natural perfume. That smell alone could heal your entire nervous system. The raspberries were generous and delicious too, but it was the strawberries that made time stop. We picked slowly, laughed often, and let the wind guide us from row to row. It wasn't just a farm--it was a pause button in the middle of our road trip, and a memory I'll hold close forever. The only thing that could use improvement is the parking lot. The entrance and exit are one-way, but it's not clearly marked. It's a small detail, but clearer signage would make arrival smoother. Still, nothing compares to stepping out of the car and into that scent. Bailey's Farm gives you more than berries--it gives you a reason to breathe deeper. And I already can't wait to go back.

Very cute little spot to do u-pick! Came here with some friends. Parking was plentiful and we loved that this farm had a nice variety of u-pick options. We came for the apples in mid-October and were able to get some Cosmic Crisps. The farm also had a little area with mini donuts and cider for purchase which of course we enjoyed since it was a pretty warm day on the farm. U-pick was only a short walk away. Plenty of apples to choose from. They also had u-pick pumpkins and by far this was the biggest pumpkin field I had ever seen in my life. They also organized the pumpkin by type which was pretty cool. On the side of where you pay for the pumpkins, they had some corn you can bag and pay for at $1 a pound. So I bought some ears of corn and wish I had gotten more! So fresh and tasty! Overall, a really cute family farm and perfect to come visit during their u-pick apple and pumpkin season!

Just an hour outside of Seattle! The farm is big with different veggies and fruits. No check in required, there are bags, scissors, and shovels in the fields for people to use. Unfortunately, we were too late for the cucumbers :(

A well-kept farm with a pumpkin patch and U-Pick apples in Snohomish. It's perfect if you want a chill, smaller, and less frills option for fall festivities in the area. Fresh mini donuts are sold at the farm. :)

Craving for a variety of strawberries? Free parking. There's a worker at the booth. $3.75 per lb strawberries Four types of strawberries available for picking: Rainier Shuksan Sweet Sunrise Mary's Peak Small square containers are available for customers. You're welcome to bring your own, clean containers. Come prepared with your rain boots or shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, something to clean footwear and hands after you're done. All varieties tasted fresh. We loved the natural sweetness for all types. Delectable on its own or consumed with other food. We shared some with relatives too.

How special! Fun for all ages. Lots of kiddos running around. So many veggies to pick from. It was mid-79s sunny when we went, ample parking at 2 in the afternoon. It's very dusty just FYI. Some parts will definitely be picked over but they do a good job at pointing to the places where there's good stuff on signs. Sadly sweet corn had been picked over by the time we went :( my only disappointment! It's not cheap but veggies are fresh and it's a wonderful experience! 7.94 for two sweet melons and a zuchinni 9.10 for 6 big honey crisps Would recommend!

I've never been apple picking and really wanted to go before October let out as that was the last month you could do it according to their website. Unfortunately, the previous weekend was actually the last opportunity to do it, so if you are hoping to pick something specific, you might want to call ahead. We ended up hitting their corn fields and grabbing some extras like zucchini and cilantro. Logistically, expect to get very dirty. All of us left with mud going up our jeans and if you have hiking or rain boots, I'd recommend wearing those. I know the apples are a bit more expensive compared to typical groceries, but the vegetables are actually super cheap to buy! Next to the checkout, they have paper bags available and a host to rinse off the dirt if you need it. I thought the cilantro and zucchini were great, but I was much less impressed by their sweet corn as it was pretty bland. A bit further down the road from the U-Pick area, they had a pumpkin patch as well. Fresh apple cider donuts were available and a couple tables to eat at, though I'd skip the kettle corn. Overall, solid way to spend a day and it's only 40-ish minutes outside of the city.

Corn picking! There's free parking in a big lot. And portable toilets with wash stations. Bring your boots and prepare to get muddy. Buckets, carts and shovels are available for use. We were there for the corn and it was soooo sweet! You're charged per piece. After harvesting your loot, there's a station where you bag and then take it over to the next station to pay. Fun way to teach the kids where their food comes from!

My husband has never gone apple picking. Checked the website and saw yours. Looked fun! We went and he picked close to 15 pounds of apples. He had a blast and as did I. We walked around for a bit and it was quite busy. So many things to do. Including bust treats. We got popcorn, mini donuts, apple cider. Overall worth going. I would definitely go again. Thank you for sharing your love of farming. T n J

They have multiple flavors of mini donuts and various sizes of cider. They have an actual pumpkin and gourd patch where you can select your own and it's organized by type. I do recommend the wheelbarrow and scissors to get it if you're not getting small ones. They do have some pumpkins and lots of gourds at the barn if you don't want to pick them yourself. They also have u pick apples for part of fall and that's pretty reasonably priced too. Same with pumpkins and gourds. If you're into corn or other veggies they have a separate parking lot just a bit further where you can park and get those from u pick as well. Overall it was a great spot and not too far of a drive. I would recommend getting there before 11 for easy parking and plenty of wheelbarrows. It seems to have gotten really popular lately so to avoid the lines and crowds and wait, try getting there at an off time like earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon. It is definitely family friendly but I think that it's less crowded and developed than some of the others in the area which we liked as a group of adults. Only portapotties for bathroom facilities and no AC or fully indoor areas, but the barn is covered on top and 3 sides.

Not sure I can find anything negative about this place. The vegetables are always fresh since you pick them or dig them up. The fruits in season are always wonderful and flavorful. This visit was to pick some corn for dinner, dill for making a potato salad, dig up some red potatoes for the potato salad. I did not not have enough time to pick peaches today. I cannot wait until apple season and the Cosmic apples are ready. This is a fun place to get your own vegetables and fruits and It is also very educational to see where the things we see in a grocery store. It does not matter if you have kids or just want to experience freshness in your produce. This place has something for everyone.

Other than losing my car key in the corn field or somewhere, had a blast. Great apples, beets, nappa cabbage, zucchini and flowers.

There were a few results but we decided to come here first and boy did we make the right choice. Directions to here was straight forward and plenty of parking either on their lot or street parking. U-pick started at 9am and we got there around 9:30. There were already about 20-30 families there. We were wondering if there would still be ripe strawberries left since they have been opened the previous 3 days already as well and the lot wasn't very big. But within a short of amount of time, we have got some amazing strawberries! We tasted some and they were so delicious and sweet. Will visit again for sure!!! More than half of the field was covered in weeds to the point where you couldn't find the path between the strawberries. As a result, many of the berries were stepped on and plants trampled. There were some tall prickly weeds that can easily scratch you if you were not careful. While we understand some weeds are expected in an organic farm, but this was way out of control. We had to work really hard at finding good ripe berries amongst the camouflage. It took two adults over an hour to pick 5 lbs. We might try the other organic farm we drove by on the way to Bolles next year. Their field appeared to have been better taken cared of.

My husband and I were…read morereally looking forward to it, as we've always loved TFF and were excited to have a new place to eat in Snohomish. First and foremost, the food was delicious! We were not disappointed in that area at all. The presentation was beautiful, and both the quality and portion sizes were spot on. We had the wedge salad, corn ribs, and steak bites (made with steak from their own farm), and everything was excellent. The service was also fantastic. The team at TFF is among the best in Snohomish. A couple of things could be improved, which I imagine are growing pains from opening weekend. The biggest challenge was that we had to close out our tab each time we ordered rather than keeping one tab open throughout our visit. It was very inconvenient as a guest experience, so hopefully that's something they're able to streamline as they settle into operations. The other minor issue was that the store area wasn't quite ready yet, so we weren't able to fully experience that part of the visit. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed when we come back. Overall, not much has changed from the Rusty Nail we knew before, but the food is great, the service is wonderful, and we're excited to visit again soon.

After waiting for 20 minutes, I went to their food pickup table to get our meals as soon as they were ready so that we could eat and get to the butterfly release. I saw what looked like five of the seven items we ordered come out shortly. They then sat under a heat lamp for another 20 minutes, when two of us left to get to the butterfly release. I was fairly certain that quite a few orders placed afer ours were served before us, as there were only three groups at tables when we arrived, and many more than that were served while we waited. The rest of our group joined us just before 12:30 with our food orders. After the butterfly event, we went back to our outdoor table and finally had our lunch about 90 minutes after we placed our order. We then discovered that we got a kids size mac and cheese instead of the adult entree, and the other kids mac and cheese included was minus the fruit. Thomas Family Farms is a great place to visit, but avoid their restaurant.
