This is the best ice cream around! Well worth the drive from my house. There is nothing like homemade ice cream. You can fully taste the difference between something made fresh and some of the other ice cream shops that just serve Hershey's or other big brands. The workers are always kind and the owner is so friendly! She always has a smile on her face. There's a reason this location is always busy, even in the winter! My boyfriend liked the variety of flavors and the quality; it's definitely gourmet ice cream but without the gourmet price. Tons of different flavors; and a variety of cones to choose from. The service is friendly and helpful; they'll help you select a flavor if you're not too sure what you want. And they give you tastes of the flavors you are interested in. I like the fact that you can get from one to three scoops of ice cream and they don't have to be the same flavor. And their waffle cones are fantastic and are made on site. The sundaes are loaded with whatever sauce you want; my boyfriend loved the caramel sauce. The banana splits they make use fresh bananas and the hot fudge or chocolate sauce is hot and the pineapple and strawberry sauces are cold as they should be. The whipped cream is delightful and the cherry on top I always get because he knows that I like them lol. All I can say is that they make a great ice cream and the rewards program is fantastic; they even took my old punch cards from back in the day. Absolutely appalled by my experience here and I should sue them for what happened to me today. My mom wanted to go here so I took her. I specifically asked the girl at the counter if there was corn in every single one of their products. I have a corn allergy. Whether it be corn syrup, corn starch, etc. She said she would go look. Came back and told me their cotton candy Italian ice did not have any corn. Well I ate some of it and within less than an hour I have been having terrible reactions. So I went online and found the ingredients and there are a TON of corn products in this! Unbelievable. They should train their staff about food allergies! This is absolutely unacceptable! I will never go back and I certainly would never recommend going there again. Especially a place that prides themselves on small batches? What a joke. Small batches of crap filled products all laced with corn and preservatives! This is going to be a long and painful who knows how long to get all of this out of my system. Never again! read more

I use to love this place, and visited frequently. In the last month or so it has been terrible. I don't know if there is new ownership or not, but both the quality an taste have gone way down hill. This Brusters used to be extremely well managed and organized. Definitely a shame what it has become. The girls working (all teenagers) were too busy screaming and laughing than to serve their customers. Very unprofessional. 50% of the menu was nothing but caramel options. I went to Brewsters with my wife and daughter. We ordered three small cups. My daughter's serving came and ther server said we only had enough for one scoop (small orders come with two scoops). The price for a small serving is $2.97. We were not informed that the price for one scoop is $2.85. So for 50% less product we were charged 95.9% of the small serving size. I left an email with the owner and her comment was"we're not in the market to sell one scoop." Feeling cheated. read more

I am outraged to say the least. last night i called them and asked if they had buckeye flavored ice cream. one of the employees said they did, and the website said that they were open until 9. Around 7:30 we turned into the parking lot and the lights were on and what looked to be employees cars in the lot. all of the sudden we see the employees inside duck, run to the back, and turn off the lights. Keep in mind this is an hour and a half before closing. outrageous and unprofessional. we walked up to the window and they were hiding in the back like children. we got back into our car disappointed at what had happened. we start pulling out and sure enough we see the employees peek their heads out. another car was in front of us most likely upset as well and we both ended up at the much better and professional dairy queen. we called bruster's minutes after leaving and no one answered. the voicemail said that they close 8. but it was 7:30. so you tell me. hopefully the manager reads this and can give the employees who were working on december 12 at 7:30 pm a warning. childish and disappointing. read more

I used to enjoy going to Brusters and getting a waffle cone of Moosetracks Double Vanilla but it seems like every time I am there some kids drive by and scream "YEAH, GET YOUR ICE CREAM!!!!!" I don't really understand it because that is the reason I am there, to get my ice cream.
