My kids both got a small cup of Oreo, my wife got a small cup of mint chocolate chip and I ordered a small cup of mint Oreo, we all loved the ice cream! Being that this ice cream is like a hard style ice cream, surprisingly was soft in texture the mint flavor was excellent and they don't skimp on the amount of Oreo cookie they had in the ice cream, perfect! We went through the drive-thru so we didn't really deal staff very much, but from I can tell they did a great job and wasted no time getting our ice cream to us! Tried to say they were closed 30 minutes before they actually closed. Went through the drive thru instead just in case, ended up waiting for over 5 minutes for the car in front of us to get service. The person over the speaker could be heard just talking away with a friend, as if no one was in the drive thru. Window front ice cream parlor. No indoor seating but a few umbrella seats outdoors, like a patio space. Little parking in front, plenty of spaces in the nearby parking lot. You can get a sundae, a cup or a waffle cone, or regular cones. We did a small waffle cone that comes with two scoops of ice cream, between me and babe. It was the perfect after dinner dessert and size. A regular sized waffle cone had three scoops, and maybe we could've done that too with our sweet tooth's. We were able to get one scoop of Oreo (favorite!) and a second scoop of the chocolate chip cookie dough. Bet accommodating. & both flavors were extremely yummy. They had many flavors, but they even had a "popular flavors" listed on the menu. You can bring your own banana on Sundays and get a free sundae! They also have treats for pups if you bring yours! Bruster's is definitely a great "summertime little ice cream stand" chain. It used to be a big tradition for my family to come here in Florida, but I'm happy to see it a little closer to home. Their ice cream flavors are endless. Like literally, they have everything. They've also got milkshakes, sundaes, and much much more to choose from! I Kept it a little classic with an Oreo cone, and damn, they are very generous with portion sizing! Even just for a regular it looked like they put in at least 3 scoops, and I definitely can't complain about that ;) They've got a bunch of outdoor tables with umbrellas to enjoy your ice cream under, and even have hula hoops on the side for the kiddos to play with (Even though as a full-grown adult I enjoyed this too) Wonderful! Bruster's Real Ice Cream is a national chain that according to its web site started out in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania way back in 1989. It is a lovely place to visit during some of those long hot summer days and indulge to either your stomach or your wallet's content. The ice cream here is very good and there is a variety of flavors from which to choose. The price point of the individual scoops of ice cream and cones is on par with its competitors such as Baskin Robbins-31 Flavors and may be a bit more affordable aside from the optional added toppings. Please take note that there is no indoor seating but only outdoor patio tables with umbrellas are provided to keep the sun off. One essentially orders from the friendly wait staff at the counter and then goes to either one's car or one of the available tables to eat one's ice cream. The Bruster's of this local community is usually bustling with activity on weekend afternoons and evenings but yet the staff is always courteous to treat its customer's with a smile. I know that every time that I drive past the place to another intended destination that it almost looks like there is an outdoor party happening.
