I went in Culver's in Bowling Green on a rainy Friday because the drive-through was packed. I been wanting the frozen concrete mixers and my sweet tooth led me to the short line inside the well lit busy, average noise level restaurant. I was greeted and got my order taken care of right away when I walked up to the counter. I ordered two concrete mixers(Peaches and Cheesecake and Peanut Butter with Chocolate drippings) you get two choices of add-ins. The fresh peach taste and creamy taste of the cheesecake was kinda what I was looking for. My husband got brain freeze so I gathered he was not upset about his Peanut Butter Chocolate Drizzles in his. We have been looking for a soft serve place that satisfies our craving for the having array of flavors to choose from. We love this and it's right here in Bowling Green! My arms was full and I couldn't open the door going out and one of the nice guys that worked there opened and held the door for me. I liked that kind of customer service along with the yummy dessert. We pulled in the find cars wrapped around the building so we went in. There was no customers standing at the counter when we walked in. 6 employees were lined up leaning on the counter. Everyone staring at us. It took 2-3 mins before someone walked up to take the order. 4 more employees working at the window counter. Just odd. Ice cream was good. Love this place. Usually for ice cream or a milkshake. But their burgers and fries are really good too. Sometimes it's just too convenient.

Culver's Burgers are really good, they have other meal items that you can order which are very good too. I like having that choice at this restaurant. I'm not a waffle fry lover but I do love crinkle cut fries! Now their custard is fantastic! Love, love, love! Cup of the daily! Super good flavors! Ever so happy to find they have this location in Bowling Green considering they are based in the upper midwest. The staff has always been pleasant and efficient and the food fresh and HOT. The frozen custard desserts are equally as good, and you can purchase pints to go (which never last long at my place). The burgers are freshly made and much better than the national chain restaurants. Paired with the crinkle cut fries and the meal is a good one. You can substitute the fries for sweet potato (in season) which was a very nice surprise! The chicken fingers (both original and spicy) are quite good if your not in a burger mood. They also have a pot roast sandwich and a pastrami sandwich in addition to a few dinners for the bigger appetites. If you have not been, it is worth trying at least once. It's good to see a Culver's this far south located just off i65 exit. I usually get a burger but tonight I got the three price cod dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. My meal came out fast. Ok, sure... it's not anything spectacular and this was the only time I've ever been to a Culver's. This particular experience will remain a special experience because it was right after the great eclipse of 2017. Christopher and I were on our way back from Tennessee. Fighting the start and stop traffic was one thing but finding a place to eat was critical when hunger hit. The food isn't terrible. It is fast food but I might put it a step or two above what you'd normally consider fast food. It's a small step above fast food, but it's one giant leap for milkshake-kind. They have just about everything. Burgers. Frozen custard. Fish. Chicken. Salad. Milkshakes. Make your choice. The oddest thing to me was how they brought your food to you. It was nice but it's totally not a place for that type of thing. It was extra impressive because they did it while it was crazy busy(which was likely from all the eclipse traffic). I decided to keep it simple. I went with a burger and chocolate milkshake. The only thing that was a turnoff was ordering a pre-defined topping burger only to be asked what toppings I wanted on it. If they wanted me to choose all of my toppings, it should've said that somewhere on the menu so that I could've been more prepared. With that being said, I'm sure I missed out on some toppings that would've made my burger all the more better. That chocolate milkshake was something to write home about. If my name was Christopher an I carried around a Moleskin everywhere, I would've certainly started writing home about that milkshake. It was delicious! It wasn't too frozen. Ugh... there's nothing worse than having a milkshake that won't come through the straw! None of that here. This milkshake was tasty and perfect! I'm not sure if I'll make it a habit to go here. It's also not a place I'd go out of my way for but if I'm interstate traveling and Culver's is an option, I'll definitely stop in. Well last Wednesday was national cheeseburger day so naturally I headed in search of a cheeseburger while out of town for work. I opted for Culver's which was close to my hotel. I have eaten at this chain restaurant on many occassions but always ordered salad. But not this time and it did not disappoint. I opted for a double cheeseburger with lettuce and extra mayo and pickles, fries and a small heath mixer. All for about $10. It was all excellent. I would suggest a single burger as I could not eat it all. It was juicy and hot and the extra pickles were just enough to have a pickle crunch in every bite. Fries were hot and crispy and the mixer was delicious. It too was too much to eat in one setting but my hotel had a fridge with a freezer so I was able to eat leftovers the next day. Service was fast and efficient. Kid that took my order was sweet and polite. Restaurant was clean and plenty of parking. They do have a drive through. Highly recommend the burger but also the grilled chicken cashew salad which I usually order is also a good choice with the fat free raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Hands down this is the best "fast food" restaurant in Bowling Green. The food is delicious every time we eat there. Fresh, made to order and their frozen custard is the best treat you will get at any restaurant! I love that they have flavor of the day frozen custard or you can get the traditional vanilla or chocolate. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone to eat at Culvers. I have non meat eating daughters and they love the veggie burgers and the fish at Culvers. Everyone loves the crinkle fries!! I also like that they have diet Root Beer, another treat!!! If I had to chose between a steak or butter burger and knowing the quality of the food that I have received every time I have eaten there, I would opt for Culvers! It's Wendy's. Their burgers look, taste, and are sold like Wendy's. Their "custard" is essentially a frosty. It tasted just like a frosty, what can I say. The menu was pretty wide under the circumstances, and the place is comfortable, well-lit, clean, and spacious. It has a lot going for it. There's even wifi, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary, because it's pretty ordinary. read more

The cleanest burger stop in town. The food is always piping hot and very fresh and the custard is great. I like the fact they run different food and frozen custard specials everyday. So, I just got back from Culvers, first time ever going... it will be the last too. Everything was terrible. The french fries were soggy and not cooked right. It's as if the oil didn't cook the fry it just absorbed into it and was just a mess. I love french fries and it was inedible. I got a Mint Oreo Concrete. Well, that was terrible. It was so runny, more so than any milkshake I've ever had. I had thought with the word "concrete" it was supposed to be thick somewhat like a blizzard from DQ. Not even close. The burgers were sub-par. The cheese curds are just o-k. My pepsi was even flat. Definitely nothing to write home about. I honestly wouldn't even give it one star. Culver's has been a budding favorite of mine since I entered the area. Food quality is about a 7.49. It's fast food, so you get what you pay for. Their calorie counts can run a little high, which isn't great for a male model like me, since I have to maintain a lean 3% body fat. But I can usually burn the extra calories quickly with my signature ab shredder workout, grizzly bear wrestling. Thanks to this, I can partake in the free ice cream I get if I do the survey on my receipt. I relish in discovering new combinations of ice cream flavors and toppings (although relish is currently not offered as either a flavor or a topping). I would be remiss not to mention that the staff is generally quite friendly. Just today, my girlfriend mentioned that she was pretty sure that the cashier was flirting with her (I should mention that my friend told me it was actually the other way around, in which case I should still commend the staff for handling this with decorum). All in all, I would rate Culver's as a very positive fast food experience. read more
