Honestly one of the worst unprofessional employees there is. I've been ordering from them for more than a year and they don't have certain options on delivery app so I call and I fix it and it's never been an issue until recently they want to make it one. One of the male shift leaders is a liar and he says he can't but literally wrote me a paper apologizing then when I called to fix my order he says they've never done it when I have proof that they do and he has. Well then maybe update your system to have the correct items where I wouldn't have to call and fix it. Then to say they can't when I've always done it? It's not liquid nitrogen ice cream or anything to write home about, but if your kid is under 40 inches tall, they get a free ice cream, and for about $5, you get two huge scoops inside a waffle cone. Our first time here and absolutely loved it. Ice cream is real and tastes homemade with generous amounts of ingredients added to every flavor. We all got something different from waffle cones with six scoops of ice cream to mix ins with snicker bar chunks and even a fab strawberry sundae. We all enjoyed our selections. It was a busy night and the crew was doing their best to keep up, customers were being helped out of order and one of our items was forgotten, we had to follow up a few times, but we will still be back for the sweet stuff. Today, I bought a quart of chocolate raspberry truffle and it's 40% raspberry jam (globs and globs of it) and the whole thing was melty soft.. I was the only customer and it took a while... The rudest customer service ever. One of the workers called out an order of chocolate ice, strawberry and strawberry shortcake a three scoop on a cone. No one answered and he shut the window. Came back and yelled again no reply. Came back and told me it was my order. No I had three cones not one. I could tell he was annoyed walked away, came back and asked what I ordered. I told him. He slammed the window. Came back with three cones. I'm standing there like so I'm supposed to try to hold them? Can I get a bag. Again he's annoyed. Brusters is my fave ice cream joint, hands down. I've visited so many Brusters but the Lilburn one near Parkview and Mountain Park Park is the best. Brusters usually have really good customer service anyways but what makes this particular Brusters stand out is that they are open until 11 pm. Yep, you got that right so when you have late night sweet cravings, you can come here. I never knew the rewards card can be used at any of the locations, the reason why is because the rewards cards I have all have particular stores locations stamped on it so I always thought I had to go to that location. This location told me I could use it anywhere. WTH, all that time, I never knew and never used them at times. Urgh. Again, my fave location for customer service and late closing time. Ice cream is always on point. My favorites are mint chocolate, butter pecan, & sea salt caramel. My kids love getting the ice cream cakes here too. I was just here to grab a late night dessert for my late-night cravings and I specifically wanted Bruster's Ice Cream, so I didn't want to settle for any store bought kinds. Even though I know I came at the most inconvenient time when they were about to close in 10 minutes, I stayed in the drive thru. I was probably not the best customer the employees wanted, which I totally understand since I used to work in something similar to Bruster's. It was an okay wait and it was understandable because they also had a line at the window also. ICE CREAM: I ordered a Small Mint Chocolate Chip Waffle Cone. For Yelpers, at this location, they offer $1 off any size waffle cone or waffle bowl so of course I took advantage of it. With the discount, my small 2 scoop waffle cone was only $3.19. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was delicious of course, premium quality and worth the money I paid for. It was a good size for a small as a regular is 3 scoops and so on. There were tons of pieces of chocolate chips and the ice cream was creamy. The cone was like your any ordinary waffle cone. The service was good, at the time that I came, I expected what I expected. However the employees were still nice and were cheery (or tried to), which I totally understand that they wanted to go home after a long day standing at the ice cream store. Craving ice cream one day and decided to give it a try. To be honest, I've never had Bruster's before or from what I can remember but I hear people rave about it all the time. After trying it I would say I'm impartial to it. It's not the best ice cream but it's also not the worst. It's good for a hot summer's day but since there is only outdoor seating, the ice cream may melt before you get to finish it. The staff was all very lovely. We ended up getting a small cup of butter pecan, a strawberry shortcake, and the new lemon ice cream in a regular waffle cone. I would say the lemon ice cream was very fragrant but didn't really have the zesty taste that it advertises. The strawberry shortcake was huge. I wasn't excepting it to be that much. The cake was like an angel cake topped with strawberries and syrup, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and topped with whipped cream and cherry on top. It was pretty good if you get a bite of everything! The butter pecan was a let down. Not sure if it's cause I remembered it to be better when I tried it as Mayfields as a kid or I tried the other flavors before and that made it taste funny. I am not very happy with this Bruster's. My family and I went earlier tonight, and received the worst service ever. After requesting that maybe they should make chocolate chip ice cream (and what Bruster's doesn't have chocolate chip??), we got a pronounced eye roll in return. The only reason I'm giving two stars is that the ice cream is very good. We went after dinner last night for a special treat. Even though the staff is new, it should not take half an hour (yes, 30 minutes!) to make three banana splits and scoop two ice cream cones. Here's a suggestion: until the staff is properly trained, have a manager on premises to ensure that jobs are done correctly and within a reasonable amount of time.
