Took 30 minutes to go through drive-thru as soon as you get to the window they ask for you give them a tip. They had 8 or 9 high schoolers working inside.- most were just standing around. As soon as we pulled away we looked in the bag, they gave us the wrong order. I love coming here after church, especially in this summer heat. It just makes my Sunday mornings sweeter! The staff is really nice & they often send coupons to your mailbox, so definitely keep an eye for those. We havent had ice cream in awhile so really craved some last night. Bruster's did not disappoint. 2 cones ~$9 Small comes with 2 scoops so I tried cake batter & white chocolate oreo and they were both perfect. I wish the cake batter had actual cake bits in it but that's my only request. My fiance had boston creme pie & mint chocolate chip & that boston creme pie was legit. Waffle cone was kinda stale but I guess it held the ice cream so that's really all I needed it to do. There's no outdoor seating for covid and kinda weird to navigate since you can't drive around the building. You can walk up to the window or go through driveway. read more

Something is very wrong here. We go for ice cream at the Bruster's on Trickum last night and our expectations were not met. The peach ice cream did not taste right; the peach chunks tasted off and the ice cream base tasted more like marshmallow fluff. The pistachio contained roasted and salted pistachios more like you'd get in a bar and were not pleasant; additionally the ice cream base was now snot-green colored rather than its usual-for-Bruster's pale color. To be sure nobody got sick and there was no indication of any food spoilage. What a let-down. We actually chucked the ice cream from Bruster's in favor of some Hagen-Dasz from the gas station. Until they fix their act, you can do better. read more

I would give it 0 stars if it was allowed. There were only four teenagers working. The drive through was at least seven cars deep. One male teenager was working each window but there were very few walk ups. A female was there but she was doing nothing but walking around looking at stuff. The boys stopped to talk to teenagers in the windows. There was only one young man working the drive through making everything and he was more interested in chatting and complaining about going home. He asked another young man to make our Blaster, the worker got the order wrong and was playing suggestively with the whip cream. How do I know all this? Because I sat in my car in line for 10 mins and then sat at the window for another five minutes watching them. My child's friend with braces couldn't eat the blaster. We will never go back to this location. The Lower Roswell location is much more efficient and professional. read more

Great place to get ice cream cakes. The milkshakes are pretty good also. A lot of people like the brownie sundae, but that's too much for me may be a good idea to share it. I love anything Oreo here whether it's regular, chocolate, or mint. They have deals if you sign up for their emails or texts and usually have specials for kids and will even give you something for your dog if you bring it with you to get your ice cream. I have been coming to this location for years. Most recently this ownership changed and to me the service as well as the products aren't the same. The ice cream flavors are limited and if you want a flavor that they don't have you have to commit to buying 2- 1/2 gallons of ice cream. I went the other night and there were between 5-8 people working which I thought was kinda awesome. I grew up coming to this location with my family all through elementary and middle school. Their ice cream always hits the spot. I had a bad experience yesterday that might have just been a one off type situation but it really left a bad impression. I ordered through the drive thru and pulled to the window. The young girl handed me a clipboard with my receipt and a pen and said "here ya go, fill this out." No hi how are you, hello, please, thank you...nothing! There was a tip line and I marked a line through that space, put the total and handed it back. She looked at the receipt, threw the clipboard down and closed the window - clearly pissed that I didn't tip her. She then opened the window, stuck the bag out and said "here ya go!" with an attitude filled smirk on her face and closed the window. I said "thanks? have a great evening I guess.." and she smirked a little harder through the window. Seriously? I have never been given the option to tip at any other drive thru. You're working the drive thru getting paid an hourly wage. I just don't see the need to tip, and truthfully, that's at my discretion anyways. I'm a firm believer in always tipping 20% or more when the service is good! But tips are earned my love, not demanded. I worked in the food service industry for 10 years. Did things change? Am I missing something? So we tip people who take overs through a headset now? I'd give 0 stars simply due to the POOR customer service but our ice cream was pretty good. read more

They always let us get a plain cake cone for our old spoiled dog-she can't handle the ice cream in the doggie sundae but loves a plain cake cone. read more

I've driven by this place many times and was always curious about it, but sweet treats for me are something I rarely indulge in. I decided the other day to give it a try. It's a fairly busy place with several families with kids eating ice creams in the outside tables. The ice cream selection looked pretty good with maybe about 20 varieties. They offer things like banana splits and brownies sundaes that look tempting, and the prices for these are not much more than for the ice cream. I decided to stick with a waffle cone and double chocolate crunch ice cream. The ice cream was good, but came out a little soft, as though it was almost like a soft serve ice cream. The waffle cone was fine. The service could have been a little better. I was standing right at the window for a while without being recognized by the staff. How hard is it to give a hello and say you'll be right with me? The staff was busy preparing ice cream dishes for customers and handing them out at the window I was standing at without saying anything to me. Then when they decided they would take a new order they went to the other window and asked who was next. I would have thought they would have seen me standing there and would have known they didn't serve me yet. Luckily the other patrons waiting were nice enough to let me move over to the other window and place my order before them. read more

Oh well, guess Brusters won't be visited for a while. At least the one on Trickum. Asked about the Death by Chocolate to make sure there's no nuts in it. I was told correct, no nuts. Got a regular 3-scoop waffle-cone. I was pumped-up, looking-forward to the sugar-coma about to inflicted upon my body. First bite. Hmm, this doesn't taste like a chocolate crispy. Dang! A walnut! Freakin' walnut! Brought it back and since there was nothing similar, "settled" for a not-so-great replacement. Further, the mgr gave me a couple of $1 off coupons to calm me down. Thankfully, I don't have nut allergies, however, anyone that does would've been in a heap of trouble. Being told there's no nuts only to find one in the product. Further, if that nut was in the ice-cream, what about the machine used to make the ice-cream? Its been exposed. I've enjoyed Brusters for almost 30-yrs, however, this is the first major screw-up I've ever had with them. Fortunately for them, I was too pi$$'d at the situation to take action on something that could've been turned into a major event. And only given a couple $1-off coupons thinking nothing will come of it like a lawsuit. What a joke. Yeah, I think Kilwins, Dairy Queen, (Carvel? Graters?) even store-bought will get my money. Growing up in Marietta I used to frequent this place weekly during the hot summer. This past summer I came here with my brother and boyfriend. We ordered our ice cream at the front window and after we paid and received our cones we walked around the side of the building where the picnic tables are. There was a couple sitting on top of a table eating their ice cream, eye's glued to the floor. That was when we realized what they were looking at was roach central. There were roaches everywhere! We chose to go eat our ice cream by our car the whole time discussing that if there are roaches outside, there are most likely roaches inside. While eating our ice cream we witnessed an employee taking out the trash from Bruster's and you could tell she was utterly grossed out having to go near the trash dumpster. I will never go here again! There ice cream is good, but after seeing the hundreds of roaches roaming the property I just can't stomach another visit. We used to go very often, however, the budget fairy has hit us hard and we just don't splurge on indulgences often anymore. That being said, this is the one Brusters I would go to. I hope it still holds true, but they used to be the absolute most generous workers I have ever seen, making it truly worth it for the splurge! The scoops were gigantic, and the milkshakes absolutely the thickest because they didn't skimp on the ice cream. We went to Roswell location once and the milkshake ran right out of the cup! Worthless! And the specials are really fun and reasonable! Menu is fun, service is ok, prices are moderate for an ice-cream only shop. What really turns me off is the ice cream itself. Never have I found such drab, bland ice cream anywhere else.
