My stylist Kiana did a wonderful job, and informed me of each step along the way while asking for my permission. (E.g., how is the temp. of the water? Do you want this tool or that tool? How does X sound to you?) I came in at 9:00 am (the only slot they had- they seem to book up fast), and my photoshoot was at 4:00 so I was a little nervous- but my hair held up wonderfully and I'm obsessed with the photos. As for other logistics- they validate parking so that helps a lot. The instructions to find the place are pretty clear, I just had to double check my email when I arrived. Showed up for my appointment and the salon was dead empty (1st red flag) with their discount on papers plastered everywhere (2nd red flag). Had to wait 10 minutes as they got my hairstylist who was doing who knows what in her car....(3rd red flag). I asked for a simple "modern mullet" hairstyle similar to what I nornally had with just the sides shaved and top and back trimmed. My hairstylist then proceeds to shave my sides almost all the way to the top, so I resemble "Cillian Murphy" from Peaky Blinders. I get it caters to a female clientale more, but really....? Turns out the 20% discount ended up not even mattering. The total cost was $40, but yet I had to pay $36...(20% of 40 is $32). Still, I chalked it up to just a bad haircut at a shady place and I could move on. Yet, turns out AGAIN, my debit card info was stolen from here, resulting in multiple DoorDash orders totaling over $500. So I beg anyone, avoid going to this place or you definitely will be paying for more than just a terrible haircut.

I called to ask if they accepted walk-ins and was told they were busy and not taking them, which is completely understandable. I then asked if I could schedule an appointment, but the person who answered hung up right after I asked. I called back to try again, and the individual on the phone was still very rude. They said they had a 6:00 PM slot available. I confirmed that 6:00 worked for me, but they repeated multiple times that they close at 7 and that 6:00 was the only time available. Each time I confirmed that 6:00 was fine. At this point I started to get agitated that I had to repeat myself 3 times just to confirm the time. They then asked for a phone number to confirm the appointment. I said that if they could see the number I was calling from, that number was fine to use. After a moment of silence, instead of responding normally, the person suddenly yelled "HELLOOOO?" into the phone. I explained that I thought they might already have my number, but I could provide it if needed. I came in with my hair already blow-dried and only needed styling and clip-in installation, yet they still charged me $60 -- the price of a full roller set including wash and blow dry, which I did not receive. On top of that, they charged $72 to install one pack of clip-ins, bringing my total to $132 -- far more than I expected for the limited services I actually received. What's more confusing is that on a previous visit for the exact same service (on a Saturday), I was only charged $90 total. When I questioned why I was being charged the full wash/set price this time, the manager claimed it's "the same price" regardless of whether I received the full service -- which makes absolutely no sense. She eventually took off $10, but did so with an attitude and then talked about me to the other stylists right in front of me. To make matters worse, I had to ask the stylist to use a heat protectant before applying hot tools -- something that should be standard practice if they truly care about the health of their clients' hair. While the final result looked fine, the unfair pricing, unprofessional behavior, and lack of attention to hair health left me deeply disappointed. I won't be returning and would not recommend this salon to anyone who values transparent pricing and respectful treatment.
