on the day of my quince I went to this salon to get my hair and makeup done. I asked the man that was doing it to make my makeup natural, all he asked me what color was my dress I told him light pink, when he was done with everything I looked at the mirror and my eyeshadow was hot pink it looked horrible and I did not like it, he never asked what type of color I wanted for my eyeshadow he just did what he wanted which is not okay because he should always ask what the costumer wants because we are the ones paying. My hair was pretty but it was the makeup that got messed up. And also the color of my lips did not match my eyeshadow the color of my lips were purple and when I saw it it looked like I was sick. This man should not be doing makeup especially because he doesn't ask the costumers what they want . read more

All I asked for was a wash, detangle, and to trim dead ends off. The wash was ok. Detangle was fine too. But when it came to the trim that's where it got weird. I only asked for dead ends to be cut off. The guy doing it use a lot of heat so I was getting burned at some points. He also was using more protectant only when I was looking. When it came to the trim. He cut off more than I asked. But I could survive off that. But he also gave me kind of like a girly cut. And I'm a grown man so now I got bangs and stuff. I might have to cut it all off. Also tried to use the flat iron when I told them I don't want that. It's probably not bad if you're getting a men's cut or stuff for women. But if you're a man trying to get a detangle and trim before getting your hair done this ain't the place. Also was charged more than any other place read more

Myra and Christina have been a good job highlighting my hair. My daughter likes her blow out. We dont typically have a wait. Its located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. I already left a Google review but it's still positive. A friend actually referred me to Evert and I've been going here for almost a year now. He does a great job, is detailed, friendly and price is in line with the area. Men's haircut is $27 before tip. I definitely recommend Also a plus that they accept card/cash. read more

I strongly recommend this place, its so upscle clean and well-maintained and well-equipped hair-dressing shop. I went in there today to get a haircut and didnt know what to except but as it turns out this place is a hidden gem. Right of the bat first impression this place is so clean and tidy, very well-ventilated and everyone seems to welcoming and nice. I have gotten hair cuts in more than 40 places and i can tell right away if somebody is doing a good job or not (immediately). The lady who cut my hair named sandra she is one of a very top good hair-dressers i have ever seen. She is so quiet and nice and professional too, she also pays attention to little derails on your hair and alwasy ask you if you need extra trim or a specific style. I recently moved to the area, and I was looking for a place just to wash and blow dry my hair. I read plenty of reviews on Yelp, and after calling around a bunch of places, either the places were overpriced or they were extremely rude on the phone. Even though this place only had 2 reviews before me, I was convinced enough by the review of a girl with natural hair as well and by the pleasant conversation on the phone. I have natural hair and CHRISTINA was amazing! She introduced herself, confirmed what i wanted, had hands of a goddess, and had me finished in less than 1 hr. I can't wait to go back! read more

I strolled into this salon after my last stylist cancelled on me at the last minute. Frustrated, I wanted to see who could do a simple wash and blow out with no fuss. Christina politely approached me and escorted me to the chair. Because the salon is predominately Latino, I did not know if they would be able to manage my NATURAL AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR...to make a long story short, Christina did an amazing job on my hair. Mayra is awesome! Her 20 years of experience, passion and talent for hair was so very useful when she dealt with my hair! My hair was dry due to not cutting it for 1 year, had highlights from over a year ago still in-- yet I wanted a balyage/ombré style with a cut but not too short & she did JUST THAT! Anddddd my hair felt healthier than before! It's no longer dry and it looks healthy I really don't know how she did it with my hair so damaged but she did it right! Love this place i personally always go to Mayra for color my hair was not damaged after getting bleached and still was good for about 6 months , after that I went to her for a purple and loved that too the environment is friendly and make sure you make an appointment ahead of time !
