Loved this park! Great play ground with good clean structures and sun shade! We went at noon and we enjoyed a lot of shade!

    Pretty trees on either side

Located in a down on it's luck neighborhood, Bryte Park suffers from a serious lack of charm. It's mostly a flat soccer/baseball field, but there's a nice running track attached and mature trees line the sides. There's also a slightly beat-up workout area that's old, but usable in the back corner by the track. Travel behind the park and you'll come across a river levee area that seems perfect for getting your four-legged best friend some exercise. There's a couple of spots where the river and dock areas are visible. I was impressed with an effort that's being made to plant some seedlings in this area. Unfortunately, they seem to be suffering from recent neglect and drought. Most impressive is the handicap accessibility to this area. I don't know how feasible it would be for someone in a wheelchair to make it up the long, somewhat steep ramp. I used it for an added incline to my walk. They also installed a special designated handicap parking spot at the base of the ramp that would be large enough for someone with a van to fit. It's too bad the main park is not more aesthetically pleasing. After searching for nice parks in West Sac, the only one that I've been truly happy with is River Walk. Maybe with all the positive things that seem to be happening on the other side of the West city, they can eventually find a few coins in the coffer for a park that could use a little love.

This park is big: baseball diamond, soccer field, basketball court, a small workout area, 1/4 mile track, an old playground and a brand new play ground courtesy of Disney! The community came together a few months ago and with diabetes finding out in an awesome little addition to the park. This neighbor hood has a lot of kids so it's wonderful they have this now. What I all the workout area is what used to be a kids mini playground I'm guessing but it is minimal: balancing beam, different size pull up bets and other things like so!

All you need is a tennis ball, and left field.

It's become our "go-to." Wide open spaces, and if you get there early in the day, the park is pretty much yours.

I got balled up here once. Some real hoopers here. They usually meet at 6:30. A kid called the bryte park legend was a real thrill to watch.

Good fields and nice Disney Land Park. Facilities need to be upgraded and it would be nice to have a expanded park.

This is a nice park early in the morning or late afternoon as there is no shade at all. Lots for the kids to do but not on a hot day.

First let me say that we played in this club last year and that the coaches I have encountered are…read moregreat, and the kids have tons of fun. But it ends there. The Board - who essentially runs all aspects of the club - is easily the most disorganized, inept bunch I have every encountered. They have no business running a kids organization because the kids are not at the top of their list of concerns. First, adopt technology people. They start the registration process over from scratch every year. So you basically have to see one of those signs along the road to know that it is registration time. Would it be too much to keep the info each year and store it in a database for use in future years? Or what about a newsletter? Or email updates throughout the year? All that would be too much work and require too much organization for this group. Furthermore, want to talk to someone by phone to get information? Good luck. Hoping for current, useful information on the website? Fat chance. They have their little clique and take care of their own. Everyone else is on their own - including my five-year-old son who wanted to play. We missed the signup due to a family emergency. Was I ever able to get a hold of someone to find out what our options were? NO. In my numerous emails and voicemails I offered to coach and assist in anyway I could in order for him to play. Or to even get him on a wait list - if they even offered one. Do you think I ever got a call back or a return email? NOPE. And we're talking over a period of three-plus months. NO CONTACT AT ALL. Their poor communication and lack of organization is unacceptable. They have no sense of customer service or what it means to run a business. The club services a lot of kids and families in the area and they deserve much better. Until someone starts a separate club in Southport, we'll go to Land Park or another area close by.
