Stopped here on the way to a graduation party while passing through from out of town, and I was pleasantly surprised--not just by the beer, but by the space itself. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The menu looked great too, with options like sandwiches, wings, and pizza. We had just come from lunch, but both Jonathan and I agreed that if we hadn't already been full, we definitely would've ordered something. We tried a few different beers, and honestly, there wasn't a single one we didn't like! It's always a gamble trying a range, but they nailed it across the board. We also took advantage of some of the games they had available, which made it even more fun to hang out and enjoy their beer! There's also a really nice outdoor patio with tables and picnic benches, plus overhead heaters--which came in handy on a slightly chilly spring day. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Don't sleep on this spot! read more

Their staff is extremely friendly and attentive. This is the only brewery I've been to where the actually allow you to mix any beers you'd like! Although the inside may not seem like much, this place is a must try. Good parking and Great Beer!!!! read more

If you post you are open till a certain time, don't shut down till that time. Second - if you walk up to the table for the first time and say "if you are going to order you need to do it before 8:30," and it is, but when someone tries to order before 8:30 you tell them the kitchen closed at 8:15 tonight - bad service, bad etiquette, bad management. Say what you mean and mean what you say - if you close the kitchen early that's one thing, do you just not post it because of the beer permit requires the sale of food? Well, nice going, you broke the heart of a 6 year old wanting popcorn. Maybe you didn't want the kids but you have it posted kid friendly - which is it? You don't want kids, you don't really sell food, you just want to sale beer? read more

Not a bad place. Good selection of craft brews. Food is decent as well. Buffalo chicken nachos were really good. Our daughter enjoyed the kids hotdog. Only complaint was the beer cheese that came with the pretzels. Probably the worst I've ever had. Maybe it was an off not, but it was gross. Good service. read more

I love checking out breweries when I visit a new town. This was the only one in Springfield, TN and it was a great spot. It was a spacious place with large garage doors, plenty of seating inside and out and a nice big bar. We had to get a flight to try their styles. A good selection of different beers and were all tasty. Since we came in on a Saturday night there was a band which was great during our visit. We really enjoyed the chill vibe, beers, music and friendly bartenders. They also served a bar food menu which seemed popular but we already ate. read more

This has become our favorite place in Springfield! There are great beers, delicious food and fun people all the time. I like that the beers are changed out and rotated through the seasons. Our favorites are the Hefeweizen and Sunny Vanilla, though we haven't come across a beer we haven't liked and regularly venture around the beer board when choosing what to get. We love trivia night and bingo nights! A chance to win prizes woot woot! There is also live music every week! If you don't feel like drinking beer (what?!) there are also ciders and seltzers available. As well as non-alcoholic beverages including the best Diet Coke I've ever tasted- Boylan. Also, there's water and an ice machine with the crunchy ice! We've always received the best service from everyone who works here. This is a place where you can easily make new friends, and bring your family. An all around great community hang out for all. There are games available to choose from and play. A nice patio to enjoy, as well as bar height and table height seating. There are even some couches and soft chairs. Food: Wings are on point!! I'm updating my review because I've been back and had the food. The food here is really good--standard pub fare but done well. The wings were sauced in a Franks sauce and delicious. The nachos are really, really good. The hot dogs are better than they have any right to be. Beers are still good--selection seems to offer about 8 or 9 rotating and all I've tried have been good. Trivia nights (Tuesdays) have always been fun and competitive. It can get a bit crowded but that just speaks to the quality. read more

We happened upon this cool brewery in Springfield (across from the Depot and loved what we found. The beer, food, and service plus ambiance is not your usual small town brewery! Shawn the owner greeted us at the bar. They have a nice freshly brewed beers. We also had the delicious wings and house made pimento cheese and veggies and found them to be excellent. Luckily we were entertained by 2 guys playing the electric piano and xylophone during our meal! We look forward to returning soon! read more

My husband was playing here tonight, so I went to grab dinner and listen to him perform. We just moved to Tennessee, so I didn't know anyone else there. Sat down and ordered their Quesadilla with Buffalo Chicken (for me) and their 1/4 Hot Dog with everything on it (for my husband). The portions were so generous! And the food was delicious. I tried their Blonde Ale my husband had their Point Nine. We loved both of them. But more than their awesome food and drinks, the staff makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in. The patrons were super friendly, I even learned about hockey! Can't wait to come back again. Fun, laid back atmosphere. Quick service. Good food. Great beer. 5/5, must try! read more

We used the brewery for a rehearsal dinner for our daughter's wedding. We can't say enough about how amazing the staff was and how easy they were to work with. Karen was awesome. She set us up from the start for a great day. We are from out of town and she trusted that we would be there when we said we would. The food was being prepared before we even showed up. Love the small town hospitality! Food was great, beers were great, atmosphere was spot on. Highly recommend them for anything from grabbing a quick beer to hosting an event. This is my favorite place to go after work when I'm in town. Bob and Shane make you feel welcome from your first visit to your 100th! After that, all bets are off ;). The beer is AMAZING! They always have a great selection of homemade brews and sometimes a guest brew from another local brewery. Solid bar/snack food as well. The place is huge and open but still has a cozy feeling. The food is surprisingly unique and delicious!!! The Sunny Vanilla Cream Ale they brew is my favorite! We made our third visit here and I must say three strikes and your are out. The beer is excellent but the food gives a concession stand a bad name. We tried the nachos the first time we visited. The meat is canned, cheese from a warming pot and there was no taste. Next visit we tried the hot dog, yea it's a hot dog. Final visit we tried the wings, dry rub with ranch. It took 50 minutes for them to arrive, they were hot but they were so salty we couldn't eat them. The couple seated next to us laughed and said eat before you come. Such a waste! The beer is excellent, atmosphere cool and the beer guys are nice. Would love to have some good food. Maybe a burger or slice of pizza. I give them three stars since the beer was good. My family and I have been Mug Club members for over three years across four different locations, and we've visited every TailGate taproom except one. This opinion isn't based on one bad experience, it's a pattern we've seen across the company. As Mug Club members, we've watched the value of the program decline. They advertise 20 oz pours, yet the pours often seem noticeably short. Members were invited to a Mug Club appreciation party that advertised free beer, pizza, and a free t-shirt, only to find the free beer was limited and the "free" shirts cost $20+. On an earlier visit this year, happy hour for mug clubbers was still being advertised until 5pm, but after ordering four more beers we were told happy hour had actually been changed to end at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. without any formal notice, communication to mug clubbers, nothing. We weren't informed until after we were charged full price for not 1, not 2, but 4 beers. Taken together, these experiences leave customers feeling misled rather than appreciated. The most disappointing part is the attitude toward loyal customers. Hearing "you'll be back because you're Mug Clubbers" says a lot about how ownership views the people who have supported the business for years. Loyalty feels expected rather than valued. I also have concerns about how employees are treated. TailGate advertises health insurance, yet many non-management employees reportedly aren't scheduled enough hours to qualify for those benefits. It appears that Wes (the owner) is more focused on controlling criticism and the overall narrative of the company than addressing the issues that generate it, leaving employees/managers to deal with the fallout. TailGate built its reputation on great beer, great staff, and a loyal customer base. The employees continue to deliver on that. Unfortunately, ownership's bait-and-switch approach and apparent disconnect from both customers and staff are hurting a brand that many of us genuinely want to support.

They have a covered patio area looking out to Old Hickory lake and they also have some open air tables that is a dog friendly area. They have about 30 beers on tap along with Coolship Coffee, Cocktails, Craft Sodas, Teas and Lemonade. They have a Pizza of the month like the other locations with Weekday Lunch Specials and some allergy friendly and gluten free options. They serve Apps, Sandwiches, Salads, Craft Pizzas and Desserts. You can get the pizzas with Regular Crust or Detroit Style. I like both but, I lean towards the Regular crust. All of the pizzas we have tried have been good, but I always get the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It's a mild heat and it's very flavorful. You order at the Bar and they give you a number then bring the food to you when it's ready. Our food came out quickly. The staff were friendly and checked on us several times. It's a nice laid back place to grab a Beer, Pizza and some Wings.
