Great selection of local craft options, and a nice small kitchen with fantastic quality. You can get flights as well as full pours, so plenty of opportunity to sample as much as they have on tap. And enjoy getting to meet their team! The business started right before COVID, and Mark, the owner, kicked this off as his dream after shifting life-paths. While vacationing, we were coming here based off a friends recommendation who we happened to be with. We were parked across the street in an easily accessible paid parking lot when a thunderstorm rolled in. While it poured we ran inside to escape the rain and were saved by the amazing beer menu they offered. Ok! I'm impressed. The folks here are just pure gold. From the staff to the regular customers. We were waited on by Dominique (named after "The Singing Nun") Super sweet and helpful with an awesome personality. While trying to choose a beer she recommended one matching my described preference and no less than 3 patrons at the bar turned around and virtually shouted in unison...THAT'S AWESOME!!!! And it was too We started with the hummus and olives because my wife loves her some olives. Then on to a couple of burgers. I had the pretzel burger which was very good and she had the black truffle burger. Both were excellent. Juicy and delicious but cooked med. well. I was pleased to see this place open as it's just off 5th street in downtown Franklin. The location is just down the street from Sweet Cici's ice cream, making it just off the busy tourist foot traffic. The facility is small, but tables for sit down service are available in this small space. Once we arrived we noticed it was packed around the bar and we were lucky to score a table. Our server was clearly running, but was able to take good care of us regardless of the on going rush. I ordered a dark stout and my wife and had a Prosecco. We also ordered chips and salsa/queso which were great! We proceeded to order lunch and I ordered a cheese burger and my with ordered a lobster roll with my mother in law. My father in law ordered the Bobby's Rueben. All of the food was great and exceeded our expectations. The coleslaw was on point and the lobster (rock lobster) was delicious. My burger was perfectly cooked and tasty. Definitely headed back and great experience. We will definitely be back!!! read more

I absolutely love this spot. Not only is the rotating tap selection LIT but the food is all amazing. They make nearly everything in house, including the sauces- so even something as simple as a smoked chicken skewer gets elevated with the care and consideration they give to each ingredient. I also love that it's still a bit of a hole in the wall in the heart of Franklin, so bringing friends here from out of town is always a hit. Tap wise- it's always changing and it's all local, so do yourself a favor and get a few. Food wise- I'm a sucker for good appetizers, so my favorites are their charcuterie board, the satay skewer with Carolina gold, the hummus and Bavarian pretzel. What a great find in downtown Franklin! I was so curious about this place as I could not even remember what occupied the building before. The interior is kinda rustic and is the perfect little neighborhood bar size. Our waiter was so friendly and patient. He gave good recommendations and checked up on us often. The beer selection was WONDERFUL. My number one complaint as a beer lover is going to a brewery/tap house that is heavy on one style and low on other styles. They have such a good variety of IPAs, DIPAs, goses, pale ales, and more. Overall it was a very clean and nice crowd for a weekday afternoon. My only complaint was that our server said style of service would change once he clocked out, and it did. It wasn't bad, but a lot less attentive and not as friendly. You might even run into friends you've not seen since two years beneath the mask. Local kegs are overflowing with IPA. But life's too short to drink IPA (a.k.a. bad beer downed by troops of the British Raj because it's easy to spell and that's all the Crown provided for beer.) Life's also too short for light, sour, or gose. Fortunately, other options abound in heady porters and stouts, browns, wheats, shandys, lagers, ciders, coffee, prosecco (and maybe a can of wine?)
