Ok so this place is pretty cool. Their beer is good and their hotdogs too. It has big long picnic tables (hints the name) so it's a big happy family of strangers with the love of beer and hotdogs in common, they also have bar stools around the edge. Staff have always been friendly and attentive. It's busy and crowded because it also has the other vendors in the market's food court. If you're local you can join their text msg group and they send a text with events they are having. They don't blast your phone either, maybe once a month or 2. Overall it's a great place to come for a beer and hotdog. Parking is free in the Farmers Market lot but it's always busy and hard to find parking.

Get the dogs, get the beer! Great place in the Farmers Market. Good rotating selection of local beers.

Stopped by the farmers market as we were on vaca. Picked the hot dog place cuz it had beer. This place was great! Awesome beer. Good music and the chili dog was 10/10!!!

Oops, ate it prior to the picture....fantastic!

Fantastic Coney Dogs and Picnic Beer in 36 oz is the perfect Saturday brunch option at the Farmers Market!

Honestly not great. My husband got the frito pie and said it only tasted like beer and not in a good way. My hot dog was nothing special and the staff was a bit rude. I probably won't be coming back

Came here tonight for Horror Movie Trivia night - what a great way to start off the Halloween Weekend right? They have hot dogs with various toppings, potato chips, coleslaw and grilled cheese. Also about 10 beers on tap. It's a chill vibe - trivia was cool and they hold it once a month. This is a great place to relax at and unwind. It's also a great place to walk around and see all the different booths they have at the Farmer's Market.

The Good: Hot Dogs; yum!!! I had the Chicago Fog and it was authentic and great! They had several others, including a Cony Island and a Southern that has pimento cheese (going to try next visit)! I also had a great German Pilsner! The frito cheese things looked good too, as solid the big roasted pretzels!!! Tips: have to get your beer at the counter; if you just sit down at the bar, nobody is going to wait on you! You can get your beer to go; they have an outdoor bar location by the produce building!!!

Cold fresh local beers served up in a fun relaxed space in the Nashville Farmer's Market was just what we needed after a walk through gorgeous and moving Bicentennial Park! We are very glad that it is OK to get food from one of the food stalls in the market and bring it in here to eat - if you buy a beer, of course! We bought a flight of local brews, and they were all very good! They have an extensive selection of local brews on tap, so we were very glad for the advice we got from the very knowledgeable lady at the bar, who asked what styles of beers we liked and mixed us up a nice sampler flight that suited us perfectly. 5 have a cold one here stars

Hello again another review for the Nashville farmers market... So many amazing places to get food to get a beer to do a wine tasting maybe have a coffee and a treat if that is your thing. But if a beer a dog are your thing then the Picnic Tap is a place to stop and get a beer. They will also let you bring in any food from another place in the famers market or you can carry your beer around to another location. The staff are friendly with expertise in the art of beer tasting stop and let them know what you like in beer and they will hook you up with a beer or flight of beers.

Love the simple menu and beer selection. The atmosphere among the market is both symbiotic and iconoclast simultaneously.

Sometimes it's INSANE and LOUD and BUMPIN because of a game or match, and other times it's more chill and you can watch whatever is on the screen/tv and just chill. Either way, it's a lot of fun. The food is solid pub food -- we've enjoyed everything we've tried here and really don't have any complaints. I don't find a Scotch Egg many places, so I usually order when I see on the menu. Love it. Our server was really wonderful, she was personable and helpful even when we had a bunch of questions and dietary restrictions. It's not reflected on the menu so I think it's worth noting they have a black bean burger on the menu for vegetarians- I think they should definitely put it on the menu since there aren't really other veggie friendly entrees. Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience with our food. The chicken spring rolls were the biggest hit, the sausage rolls were good but strangely sweet and maple flavored which wasn't in the description. The chicken gouda pasta was a real miss for me, there was no bacon on it which was in the description, and it was flavorless and mushy. I actually sent it back which I never do. I asked to replace it with the Pub Poutine, which they kindly did, but unfortunately it was extremely salty and difficult to eat as well. I think this place has a lot going for it which is why I leave this feedback,

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

Great music along with strong cocktails, I laugh and say to myself: I'm getting paid to be here! My steak comes to the table very quickly. Man this steak cut is a thing of beauty. As someone with a dairy allergy, I always make sure that my server understands my limitations when ordering from a new menu. Our server seemed to not be knowledgeable of what "dairy" or milk is, and after I ordered the fish and chips, she went to confirm if there was dairy in the batter. There was immediately hostility from her when it was time to change my order, as the fish batter did have milk in it. My husband modified my order to a tuna salad sandwich, verifying that this was a dairy-free option. However, she didn't seem to realize that butter was also dairy, and would have served me a buttered toasted bread with my sandwich if my father in law hadn't of thought to verify. I did not see her smile or greet any guests warmly in the time we were in the pub, which I usually don't care about, but when a server is openly hostile towards a party, it sours everyone's experience. My husband's bangers and mash was badly burned and the tuna salad was incredibly lack luster. The only positive scores of our experience was the cozy atmosphere and the soup of the day.
