I will never go back here! I do not recommend this place! I came in for a bleach for my root touch up. The hair dresser said she can do it but recommends a treatment i said not today as it was super expensive. After doing my hair I go to pay she says she cant do my hair again IF I DONT buy the take home products that would cost well over $100, after already spending $200 on my hair. I told her I do not want to buy the take home products, she said ok then i wont do your hair again to preserve the integrity of it. I told her why wouldnt she tell me that before i sat in the chair and tried to establish a new haridresser and waste my TIME. she also charged me 62 for a hair dry and left it soaking wet underneath and when i asked her to please dry it she was super annoyed. I would never ever ever go back here this place sucks! read more

Update Response to OWNER : not sure why your lying through your teeth, but there was absolutely no change requested, I asked for blended highlights and your stylist performed the incorrect skills needed to perform. I showed you the exact SAME picture multiple times and your stylist failed to perform that service! Your stylists performed the wrong services on me , did not give me what I asked for, and frankly don't have the skill set to achieve a simple blended highlights look that could have been avoided with teasing the hair. Original: RUINED my hair and won't take accountability. Skunky and orange, absolutely horrified. it resembles absolutely 0 of the blended dimensional look I showed and asked for. After letting them attempt a correction, (2 times of service) the pictures below are the end result. (Which look orange brassy and skunky placement). It feels TERRIBLE to walk around like this! Please see photos! Also, the salon hasn't refunded me the payment I spent , even though this service has compromised my hair and looks extremely skunky and unblended. Other salons have noted the placement is terrible, Mohak placement, and rushed, and now my hair is in a compromised position. It's very sad because now their has been high and lowlights put in, and now no other salon will be able to fully correct this. The least they could do is refund me my hard earned money for damaging my hair and now it's not correctable. read more

I had not colored my hair in over 10 years as a result of relay bad experiences with other salons. I made an appt with this BT on the Blvd and dándonos picked an appt with Victoria. Needed a find a good place to get a haircut while I was visiting Florida and am so happy I found this salon! The salon itself is an amazing space, not to mention clean and well run. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Anneliese was my stylist and she did an amazing job! I just needed a cut, but she took her time and made sure it was exactly to my liking. They use Oribe products which are super high quality and they also smell DELICIOUS. I will definitely be going back anytime I need my hair done here in Sarasota. I would 100% recommend! read more

I had an appointment for a service and was unable to cancel because my mother was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Without question I was charged $189.00 the entire cost of my service because I couldn't call. I was notified by text. If you don't give them 24 hours they charge you half, regardless of the circumstance. This place has zero ethics or concern when it comes to their clients--they may have great reviews because they have experienced stylists but outside of that it's only about money. So originally I went to Derek the Salon but found it was uncomfortable and out of my league. I felt like the new girl in school all over again...luckily I found BT on the Blvd! Upon walking in I'm greeted with smiles and hellos and in no way at all is it awkward! They're all accommodating and nice...like an extended family feel. The conversations are great and the stylists are knowledgeable and listen well to what I've told them I wanted. I have found my hair home. Pricing isn't too bad...about the same as other top notch places. I absolutely love the aesthetics of the salon in general. It's inviting, modern, calm, chic. My stylist is Courtney! This was my first experience at BT on the Blvd. I was looking for a new place to get my hair done and my coworker recommended it to me. I called the day before I needed a blowout appointment and they were able to squeeze me in with one of their stylists, Lindsey. Upon arriving, I immediately was captivated by how aesthetically pleasing the salon is. All of their fixtures are sleek and modern. One of the stylists invited me to sit in their seating area while my stylist got her station prepared. I was only sitting for a minute when Lindsey introduced herself to me. She asked me a few questions about my hair, what I was hoping to achieve, and if I wanted a beverage while I had my service done. She did an awesome shampoo/conditioner and then started on my blow-dry. Lindsey and I chatted the entire time, it was such a pleasant experience. And my hair looks great! Oh, and I love that BT on the Blvd uses Oribe haircare and Dyson blow-dry products. The quality of both of these products is amazing. I will definitely be coming back! 12/30/23 UPDATE: Devastated to report: My hair has now broken off due to the over processing/lack of attention at the hands of the inexperienced/poorly managed "stylists" at BT on the Blvd. I'm sure it will be a long time before it grows out. In the meantime, I will have a daily reminder of the damage that was done to my appearance, not to mention the insult to injury from the fake messages of concern posted by the salon manager, who at the end of the day did not do the right thing. Since you don't seem to know what that is, I'll tell you here: Simply apologize. Admit you scheduled poorly and had one stylist juggling me with another very demanding client. Admit that because of this I fell by the wayside and that my hair was over processed. Admit that you should have simply refunded my money (at the very least) when I alerted you to what happened. Please, no more platitudes about "find peace within your" reply message (that was an absolute joke). Just do the right thing and stand behind your work and reputation. Why on earth would I make up the fact that you damaged my hair? It defies common sense. You do know about karma, right? read more
