Matt of BTU Heating not even accommodated my very short notice request over the weekend to fix a leak in my home's furnace, but was being very efficient in diagnosing the issue and the fixing it quickly. He came fully prepared with all the tools and parts to avoid the hassle and time of running for parts, if needed. Other guys in town gave me expensive quotes for the same job, but BTU heating was honest enough to just charge me for the minor issue and not exaggerating it before to get extra money out of me. Our furnace went out on a Saturday morning at 4 am., after spending almost 10 hours dealing with no-answers & no-shows from 23 different so-called 24/7 emergency repair companies I found Matt's number on www.kijiji.ca Not only did Matt arrive promptly as promised, he arrived carrying all the parts for my furnace the "other guys" all claimed would need to be ordered, or pay an additional surcharge to open a wholesaler on a weekend. Matt is a LIFE SAVER! I was referred to Matt by Terry at Spyder Plumbing. (Much thanks Terry!) Despite calling last minute because our furnace was pumping cold air in the middle of winter, he showed up super quick. Instead of charging us a $1000 replacement fee for a part; which most companies would have... he simply cleaned a part of the pump and charged me $150. Very much appreciated Matt's persistence and tenacity to resolve our fireplace issue. The fireplace was installed in such a way that it needed to be torn down in order to access to the defective component. Called Matt on a Friday morning when my kitchen faucet broke off in my hand. Matt was there within a couple of hours and was very knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. He had my old pipes cut and new shut off valves put on, the faucet in and running all in no time. Would highly recommend service from BTU heating. Matt stopped by late in the evening to get our gas fireplace up and running and had the problem identified and fixed within 10 minutes of looking at it.
