My husband and I have been here several times and it is always so beneficial! They are always so nice, checking in to see if the pressure is too soft or hard. They offer stretching and walking on your back, which if you are up for, is great! If you are looking for more of a traditional, relaxing massage, they can help you. Lotus was my masseuse, and she was so amazing! She is highly talented and specialized in finding knots; she already found 5 knots within just the first few minutes, and focused on loosening/undoing them. Throughout my 90 minute session, she ensured my comfort by asking if the pressure was okay and to let her know if I wanted to adjust to softer/harder (it was perfect every time). The few times that my knots were acting up, she sensed it before I needed to speak up, as she moved onto a different area to give my knots a break. She checked on me every few minutes, asking if everything was okay and if I felt better about my knots. At the end, she managed to crack my back, which I've had trouble doing for about a decade She was also very sweet! We had a nice, fun conversation. She was so generous with compliments, even calling me cute and beautiful^^ and saying she liked my dyed hair color haha They even gave complimentary ice-cold bottled water at the end of the session, which was much appreciated :) I'll definitely be coming back! I got my first massage with Lotus and came with my brother, who had a massage with Tina. We both truly appreciated the experience and felt that the therapists knew exactly what they were doing. They were able to find and work on our tight muscles and knots with precision. For me personally, this was the best massage, ( & Thai massage), I've ever had. Lotus really worked hard to address knots that had been there for years. For the first time, I felt real relief, even in my sore gluteal muscles and the wrist soreness from carpal tunnel. The body pain is all connected and radiates in other places. Lotus recommended a follow-up session to fully eliminate my back knots, and I'm seriously considering it. At $60 an hour, it's a great deal. I suffer from chronic tension headaches, and I told her about the tightness in my upper back and neck. She focused on those areas and also noticed that my scalp muscles were tight. After she massaged my scalp, the relief was amazing--I never knew I needed that kind of work or that this level of relief even existed. Not even my tension headache medication, Tylenol, or magnesium pills were able to heal me like this. I slept so well that night. I'm still a bit sore, which is expected after such deep tissue massages, but I love this place and think it will be my new go-to spot." read more

I had a great experience at Bua Lotus Thai Massage today. I called to see if they had any availability for today. They asked me what time and I headed down there immediately. Drive slowly because you can miss the business. If you are driving East on 6th you will need to flip around. I was immediately greeted and I believe Sophia helped me. In an another review they said Thai massages are not a fluffy, feel good massage.They work hard and it hurts in the places you have pain and tension. They do ask you if you are ok with them stepping on your back. Please look at photos so you understand what that means. It's worth it and they know what they are doing. I will definitely be going back for another massage. I wasn't sure what form of payment they take, but I was able to pay Zelle today. read more

I RARELY write reviews, but I just had an experience here that I'm still trying to process. The woman who said she owns the place gave me a massage while my husband received a massage from another woman. The woman who gave me my massage first of all talked on the phone the ENTIRE massage. She would at times walk in and out of the my room to talk to others while there was another employee in their "lobby" not massaging anyone. The massage itself was not only confusing, but really painful. She walked on my back, stepped on my hamstrings, and dug her toenails into me for the first 30 minutes. The walking on my back was not therapeutic. It was sporadic and what you would imagine a child doing if you asked them to walk on your back, but for THIRTY minutes. Then proceeds to dig into my left shoulder the rest of the massage, ignoring the rest of my body. At one point she is sitting in front of my head, brings her feet up to my shoulders to massage my shoulders and neck with her heels?? While I mentioned several times that the "pressure" was too hard and that I would like the rest of my back massaged, it was ignored. My left shoulder and side of my neck is in so much pain today. It is so swollen and very sensitive to the touch. There was a moment where she spread, not rubbed, coconut oil on my back then to wipe it off with a cold wet towel moments later. At the end, she sits me up, messes up my hair??? and like taps my forehead? It was the weirdest experience I have ever had. I didn't end the massage early on because I was hoping my husband was having a better experience. Once we got to the car, he also said it was the worst experience he has ever had as well. He complained that the massage was also painful and his back feels scratched up. He is a 6'3" man who typically needs more pressure. We are both in pain today and although we are laughing about this crazy experience, we will never be coming back. read more

I go about once a month now for regular maintenance. We're all machines, we need regular maintenance. If you need an good deep muscle massage and you're within 20 miles of this place, you should go try them out. Awesome people as well. It's a little hard to find. Don't be fooled by the exterior of this business...to be honest I drive by all the time and never noticed that it was a business! The reception area is clean and well kept. The furniture is nice and there is soft music playing. When looking around I didn't notice that anything looked shabby or broken...a big plus for me! Prices are fair...hour long massage is $60. I got hot stones as well and that was an extra $10. If you pay with a card she charges $5 extra or you can zelle for free. Lotus was my therapist and she very friendly and funny! The room where the massage took place is very basic, two massage tables (with the bars above each if you want them to walk on your back), a couch up against a wall, and a couple of tables. I had a HUGE knot above my right shoulderblade that was causing headaches and she spent about 25 minutes working it out...good lord did it hurt, but the knot is gone and I haven't had a headache. The rest of the massage was very pleasant. I asked for medium pressure and it was perfect for me. When it was over I felt like jello! I was so relaxed! I was planning on going shopping after but I went home and took a nap! Hahaha! I will be coming back soon as well as sending the hubby in also! read more

My massage was medium pressure and it was perfect. She took the time to make sure I was feeling better even though she had a lot going on that day. Wow! This is the place to be! Like some reviewers said, don't be fooled by the exterior. The quality of the massage was absolutely amazing. It is not a typical massage place where they soak your feet and massage from head to toe. At this place, they will step on your back, crack your back, give a full body massage, and stretch you. My massage therapist made sure the pressure was good and asked if stepping on my back was okay. I agreed, and I didn't have any issues with communication. There wasn't a point where I felt in pain or uncomfortable. Both of the massage therapists seemed fun and friendly but also professional. She not only stepped on my back but also did a massage from head to toe and focused on my shoulders since she could feel how tense they were. I felt she knew exactly where I was hurting. I constantly worked out twice a day doing crossfit and MMA, so my body was hurting and was getting frequent headaches because my body was just too tense.
