Shrimp Chiwawa and Chips and Queso
    Ed N.

Always come here for the delicous shrimp chiwawa which is a crushed rice ball with shrimp, beans, cheese, pico and corn salsa.

    Laureen Y.

My family used to go here many times before and would always get taco bowl so I started craving it and decided to go order one. I ordered through yelp and got taco bowl, quesadilla, rice bowl, and fried oreos. The taco bowl was so crispy I got it with carnitas and jerk sauce. My sister got the bowl but didnt like that it was dry and chicken was dry as well. Fried oreos was wrapped in some kind of thick dough. I would only come back for the taco bowl shell.

They were so happy to host us and made every step of the experience easy and enjoyable. They even offered our players 10% off their meals, which were absolutely delicious! The tacos are an incredible deal -- four for just $15-- full of flavor and perfectly portioned. The appetizers were reasonably priced and packed with taste, chips and salsa come to table when dinning in, and to top it off, the staff surprised us with a few sweet treats for the table as a thank-you gesture -- such a thoughtful touch that meant so much to our team. There's plenty of seating and space for groups, making it a great spot for family dinners, team outings, or celebrations. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to have us there. It's always special to support small businesses that continue to support our local programs, and Mi Casa Tu Casa truly embodies community, generosity, and great service. In today's tough economic climate, it felt amazing to dine somewhere that not only serves amazing food but also values people, community and connection. For drinks, we had the passion fruit cocktail and a mango margarita. The bartender did a great job because both were well made and definitely packed a kick! For entrees, we had the braised short rib and the braised half chicken. Both dishes were filling and full of flavor. The food itself was really good, but the music and atmosphere may have been even better. The vibe felt fun and energetic, and I can only imagine this place really comes alive at night. Looking forward to coming back and experiencing that. Only deducted a star because it wasn't really packed, but took a while to get our food. It could have just been today. Definitely recommend! .

Big shout out to Yuri. Even though it was your first day, you were great. Keeping doing you and i hope to come back and see you. Now the food. The menu is small but has a lot i wanted to try. This time we got the yellowtail fritters, they were delicious. I would recommend that to anyone. We got the shrimp ceviche, which my partner loved. I didnt but that's because it has a coconut base and i don't love that flavor. The garlic rice was delicious and nicely fried that added a lot of texture if that makes sense. Lately, the vedura enchiladas. Omg what that decision. It was spicy and sweet due to corn and very savory. I was skeptical of the place due to it being Indian Mexican fusion but i am quite surprised and excited to have something like this here. Prices seem highly initially but once you taste the food, you will understand. It's quality.

I've been wanting to come here for a while but was worried about language barriers. Hubs and I decided to come here for lunch. The place has plenty of seating and we were immediately seated after arriving. Hubs had the Tacos "mar y tierra"- it has calamari, shrimp, baby octopus, mussels, etc. He said it was tasty and better than the traditional taco. There are chorizo bits in it, though. He was on a Lent diet and he said that he should've asked. I had the Camarones a la Diabla - it's spicy shrimp and I chose rice as a side. This was spicy and delicious. On our next visit, daughter ordered the Mojarra a la Diabla and she liked it a lot. This was nice and spicy and rich. Hubs liked it a lot and ate most of it. LOL. We also ordered the Fried Combo #7 on our 2nd visit. We picked this because we saw that soft shell crab was part of the combo. We were a little disappointed at the size of the crab and were expecting it to be a little bigger but it was tasty. The fried shrimp is better than any of the fried shrimps we've had out here in the East coast. Breading was nicely flavored and the fries were well done without us asking for it. Hubs thought that the sauce was very tasty. We all shared a 32 oz Jamaica and liked it but it was very sweet. Daughter loved it. The seafood shop next door is part of them, so you can order anything from next door and they can cook it and bring it over. The menu is practically endless! We were very happy that there wasn't any language barrier. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Unfortunately, everything else fell short. I ordered the mojarra, and it looked nothing like the photo on the menu. More importantly, the fish itself just wasn't very good. The shrimp were decent, but nothing special. The squid rings and mussels were surprisingly tiny, and the entire dish was heavily covered in a red sauce that overwhelmed the seafood rather than complemented it. Based on my experience, I'd recommend sticking with the tacos. They're worth ordering, but I wasn't impressed with the rest of the menu.

We were seated in the lovely outdoor area, which had such a great atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We started with the empanadas, and they were absolutely delicious. For our main dishes, we had the shrimp fajitas and steak tacos--both were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and truly hit the spot. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, Joely, was awesome--friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed, especially on such a busy holiday. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

The night we dined the restaurant was pretty busy, but there were no servers or hosts in sight. After a very brief wait, a server and host/server came out of the kitchen and sat us immediately. We started with horchata to drink, which arrived in mason jars with a dusting of cinnamon. The menu is very seafood heavy, so if you're not into fish or seafood, your options are limited. With that being said, the menu leans authentic Mexican. Every table receives fresh homemade nachos with a black bean topping and two salsas- one mild and one spicy. We decided to do the appetizer sampler so we could try a little of a variety of things. It came with an empanada, elote, nachos, guacamole, and queso fundido. The presentation was awesome, as it arrived on a wooden board. The empanada was cut into 4 pieces and was filled with chicken tinga and cheese. I absolutely loved it, while my friend hated it, which was crazy to me. It was so flavorful and had almost a carnitas flavor to it. The guac was fresh, the nachos were crispy and packed with toppings, elote was flavorful and fresh, and queso fundido was super filling. We almost filled up on the apps, but our birria tacos came out and they were fantastic. Our server poured the hot consommé over onions in a little bowl and the flavor was rich and paired with the birria so well. The corn tortillas were crispy and even though we could only eat one of the three, we took the rest home. We also split a side of Mexican rice and beans, which were average and pretty much what you'd expect. We aren't sure if there is dessert, as there was none on the menu, but we were too full even if we were offered options. Our server was attentive even though it was very busy. All in all, I would give it a 4 and my dining companion would give it a 3 so 3.5 would be perfect. However I went up to a 4 because I enjoyed what I ordered and think it deserves that half of a star.
