Haven't been to Qdoba in years, but wanted to see if they were as good as I remembered. We got two bowls, one veggie and one chicken. I like how the guac is complimentary, instead of an extra charge. Even though I wasn't getting any meats, the man barely put any fajita vegetables on mine, instead, treating it as a topping. The vegetables are also haphazardly cut--huge random chunks so it's not homogenous to eat. read more

Tiny portions of flavorless, overcooked food served by an incredibly rude owner. It's always empty for a reason.

Usually when I have Qdoba, it's delicious! But today it was not! The race was very hard and tasted raw! There is no way this rice was cooked! I got a mini bowl and they usually give me a free chips and a juice they gave me none besides the bowl! I am very disappointed because I love Qdoba hopefully Qdoba workers read this. We stopped by freehold malls location yesterday to grab a quick bit and the service via Matt was amazing. He seemed new but did great with our food. Super nice kid to serve us yesterday. Unfortunately the manager or the Cook to Matt which wasn't cool at all to see while the kid was putting a lot heart into our food. The food is good don't get me wrong but every time I ask for extra veggies they don't put much in at all, one guy always huffs when I ask and I then got told "not too hungry today, trying to stay skinny?" And it's insulting tbh kinda explains why it's usually dead. read more

We've been eating at this Qdoba for more then a year now. We'd spend 400-500$ a week buying food for all our employees and even after all that some of the staff at this Qdoba never want to take care of there customers. I'd recommend any other restaurant at the raceway mall other then this particular Qdabo. read more

I absolutely LOVE Qdoba. Anytime I'm in this area and mall, this is where I grab a bite. The staff here is super friendly and if I could give an '11' on a scale of 1-10 for customer service; I would. The ONLY thing that brings me from a 5 star rating to a 3 is something very important. That is - rolling a damn burrito. For some reason, this critical part of burrito making is lacking and, although it's still amazing taste and service, I did order a burrito to eat - not to wear. read more

I placed a catering order for my daughter's birthday party and had it picked up at the specified time I requested. Everything was so neatly packed and fresh. The service was great, and they even confirmed our pick up earlier in the day. The manager clarified the charge they initially charged on my cc wasn't the final charge until after the service. All our guest enjoyed their meal and some never even had Qdoba until then. Thank you for the service and providing all the necessary utensils as well. I give one star because the staff were friendly and pleasant. Before I could even finish eating I had to abruptly run to the bathroom. The food here did a number on my bowels. Favorite place to grab lunch at the mall. Food is reasonably priced, fresh and delicious. Most of the staff are friendly and attentive.

Food portions couldn't feed a rabbit, no napkins out or paper towels in the bathroom, half the place is blocked off so barely anywhere to sit. I love the food since it's a chain and it was cooked properly here but would not recommend coming here unfortunately. read more

The food is good. Prepared well, fresh ingredients and tasty. The whole concept, though, is a little restricting. They have a menu of tacos (6) and burritos (1) and if you don't like what's in them - too bad! You HAVE to get the tacos like they say on the menu. "They don't like it if you make substitutions," said the team member behind the counter about to make our tacos. My wife wanted the vegetarian taco, but wanted to add chicken. Not because she's vegetarian, but she likes everything that is in it and didn't like the other tacos on the menu. NOPE! Team members said "They get really angry when you don't go by what's on the menu." You've heard of the Seinfeld Soup Nazi? This is the Freehold Mall's Taco Nazi. I don't like cheese, but I felt like I had to get it or ELSE! It was like I was in a prison meal line. "You get how we give it to you!" And I would've liked other things on my tacos too, but was afraid to break the rules. For people who don't like certain ingredients, this isn't the place for you. You can't make any changes to your taco. If you also like a little variety in your Mexican food, this isn't the place for you either. I like a lot of items on my tacos, but that didn't seem to be allowed. Also, the only "side" on the menu is chips and dip, but you can order sides of rice, beans, pico, etc. - just be prepared to get small, pre-measured cup of it. The whole limited menu, strict ordering, and small amounts was a turn off from this place. Next time it's either Taco Bell where I can Mexican done the way I want, but suffer a little on taste or we stay at Bobby's Burger Palace which we walked out of because we decided to have Qdoba instead. read more

I love fast food and a good amount of chains, but I've never pictured myself referring to a chain as one of my favorite restaurants until I visited Qdoba for the first time. I've been to a few Qdobas and some were in the city. Luckily the food quality and service is the same at them all... Great! I love the assembly line and best of all, they don't chagre extra for most of their toppings like other places do. Their steak and chicken are great quality and the portions are insane. So my wife and I tried the new Qdoba in the Freehold Raceway Mall. It is located where the Johnny Rockets used to be. The restaurant is a good size for what is essentially fast food Mexican and since it's new was very well kept and looked nice. Qdoba has you line up for what is exactly like a Subway restaurant, where you watch them make what you order as you order it. Just replace the subs with burritos, tacos, etc. Qdoba has very similar options as say a Chipotle, but they also have some specialty items on the menu for a higher price if you want a special type of burrito. I decided to make my own chicken burrito and went with the pinto beans, fiery habanero salsa, cheese and brown rice on a wheat burrito. The service was polite and kept things moving along. I also liked that they have a Coca Cola mix it machine, but noticed that they really could use a second as it bottle necks at the machine. A lot of people don't know how to use these new fangled contraptions!!! We also got the chips and queso and will say I must not have eaten queso in a long time because it was so good! Was also suprised to see it wasn't just melted nacho cheese. It had peppers cut up in the cheese and a decent seasoning. Not bad for a fast good place. The burrito was good and I really have no complaints about Qdoba. I will be stopping in here again to eat while I'm in the mall. I absolutely love this place, specifically this Freehold one! Food: Always fresh and well put together. The meats are prepared right in front of the customer. This place is perfect for fat, meaty burritos, but they sell quesadillas, salads, even soups! Staff: I'm an addicted frequent customer, so most of the staff knows me. The manager is extremely welcoming, pleasant, and funny. He takes his job seriously, monitoring everything, making sure the customers are happy, and even helping out the workers during lunch or dinner rushes. The staff is welcoming, well trained, and quick! You won't be waiting long at all. Place: Always clean and neat. I usually take out, but if I'm spending a day at the mall, my friends and I dine in. They have online ordering which I love! If you frequent Qdoba and you want deals, get a Qdoba Rewards card and remember to use it! You get access to BOGO promotions as well as free entrees and chips throughout the year. read more

I have been to my fair share of Qdoba restaurants from PA to NYC to NJ and I have to say that this location is by far my favorite. You enter being welcomed by a happy and excited staff that are passionate about their food. As a vegetarian I find that I'm not limited and able to order anything off the menu that I'd like. Their queso is one of the reasons I have been coming back for so many years (I've been eating Qdoba since 2007, let that sink in). A vegetarian queso burrito is pretty much a food group in my diet, and it's perfect every time I go to Freehold. Perfect atmosphere, great staff, delicious food! read more

Absolutely fantastic. I hate the chipotle chain because they over do the cilantro they use in their dishes, but qdoba does everything perfectly! The food is phenomenal, it is inexpensive, and the people are beyond nice who work there! Every time my boyfriend and I eat there we leave the staff a tip because they deserve it. They don't get enough recognition compared to how wonderful they make the dining experience. I would choose to eat there over ANY of the overrated restaurants in the mall. Great place. We had one in my town close down a few years ago. It was disappointing because my kids loved it and it was a nice change of pace from all the other options. Now we drive 25 minutes to enjoy it and it's worth it. My 9 year old loves the chicken soft shelled tacos with pico, cheese, and corn and she is very picky eater. My 5 year old and 2 year old enjoy the cheese quesadilla. I love the burrito bowl. The portions are excellent and the price is too. read more

Probably the best burrito I have had in my many experiences. The queso sauce was the part of the burrito that put it 2 stars ahead of chipotle. Also, qdoba had many more meat options than chipotle. I had the ground beef and it was juicy and delicious. Other than that it was basically the same thing as chipotle. But I will always come here because of the queso and meat variety. I love Qdoba(Just started couple months ago, so I'm not familiar on how to pronounce certain things). But, this place is just the worst! If I could give no stars, I would definitely give no stars. All the other places I go, 1. People are friendly. 2. Portions are so much more. I came here with my brother and there was a long queue, understandable. When I started ordering everything was fine until I started to choose my sauces, salsa, etc. I don't know if it was the manager or whoever. But gave me the nastiest attitude ever. Mind you, I am a server in a restaurant and I know what is hospitality and what isn't. This guy had no hospitality what so ever. I started pointing at what I want, I DO THIS AT EVERY QDOBA THAT I GO TO. And this guy started yelling at me saying "Don't touch the glass, don't point" and he helped me and another lady who was beside me. I wasn't even done with what I wanted and he asked the lady what do you need on your bowl, etc. This is ridiculous. I don't need to come to a food place and get yelled at. At the cashier, she asked the man why do I have a tortilla on the side. Excuse me? Is there a problem with having my stuff on the side. This is just beyond the worst service I've encountered.
